FOTO FRIDAY....O OCEAN         |

We walked to the Birthday Beach.....That's the nick-name of this beach because it's a favourite site for birthday parties....It's First Nations land and close to the village. They are very generous about sharing as long as we are respectful and don't litter etc.....It's within easy walking distance.....

I had a friend who was from New Zealand....A Kayak guide...He guided in New Zealand during their Summers and here during our Summers......A very free spirit ...He found some very rare lighter blue of the Cobalt beads on an isolated wild beach looking to spot the Kermodi, or "Spirit" bear....which is a light golden coloured cousin of the Black bear that only occurs on a certain stretch of the coast North of here.... Anyways. he gave me a handful of those varied blue beads made in Venice hundreds of years ago and just sitting there among the pebbles like pieces of sky that had fallen........like his eyes ...

I am glad that I started to compile a family photo album, including the new addition, my niece's baby. I hope to have it ready soon.
