R#PE FATHERS.......

So what happens in the cases where a baby is conceived by r#pe?

In most cases, the mother/family chooses to abort the child......In some cases, the victim is unconscious during the act and doesn't suspect a pregnancy for months......
If the woman becomes pregnant through r#pe and births the child, in most states in the US, the father can legally claim parental rights. Many women in the US are forced to co-parent their child with a r#pist......a man whose psyche demands control and power.

Without the choice of abortion, there will be a huge increase in r#pists with access to children........And the people willing to allow this, are the same people who want laws to protect children from any mention of sexuality, gender or same-sex relationships......two dads is bad, two moms is bad, but a r#pist father is A-OK.........The insanity keeps growing......

I am referring to what happens when/if Roe-Wade is overturned, as is likely......That's what people are demonstrating about, I thought that would be clear.

Abortion has been threatened for a very long time in the US, even with RW on the books. Many states have been eroding women's health clinics for a very long time.....and I do have my facts straight.....I happen to be in communication with abortion rights workers in the US.....the border doesn't stop the internet, as I'm sure you are aware......Many states have archaic abortion laws that were sidelined by RW and will go into effect if/when RW is overturned. Other states have been working hard recently to put in place trigger laws that will go into effect if/when RW is overturned.

There are states where abortion is banned after 6 weeks. Many women don't even know they're pregnant that early. As for travelling to another state, many women don't have the ability to travel......the money, the time, the transportation......there is a lorge block of states that will outlaw abortion if/when RW is overturned, making the nearest abortion clinic very far away......

Abortion will always be available for the rich and privileged, it's the poor people who will suffer.....again......As for Canadian women traveling to the US for an abortion.....whatever for? Abortion is lawful, free and done in hospitals......accessible to everyone and because of the accessibility, they are done very early in the pregnancy.......

Interesting note.....The USA has a higher abortion rate than other developed countries.

You aren't listening......many women don't have the means to travel......why does that point need repeating......think of teen girls in a poor family.....or a single mom with children.......Your flippant attitude is disgusting.....if you don't care and/or refuse to think about it, just buzz off.......

They don't want to listen. They really don't care whose lives they affect. One thing I would bet on is that affluent anti-abortion women will still have abortions. I couldn't believe it when I read that not even ectopic pregnancies can be aborted. That is a death knell for the fetus and too often the mother as well

You are a disgusting human being. Why don't you offer to pay for them to travel to get an abortion? Hell, write it off as a tax deduction. What a disgusting dumbass. Maybe you should type in #15 font next time and we'll hear you better. GTFOH

There is a way to avoid unwanted pregnancy by taking a pill within 72 hours after the "event"....... It is also called The Morning After Pill. If a woman's life circumstances are such that she cannot afford having a baby, she can take Birth Control Pills..... Concerning abortions, there is a red line in my opinion.

From PEW....... "Since January, legislators in at least 20 states have proposed bills that would restrict or ban access to abortion pills [morning after pill] approved more than two decades ago by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration."

You may want to do a bit more research into the subject before commenting......There are a myriad of reasons why a woman/girl might find herself with an unwanted pregnancy......surely you have enough of an imagination to understand that the scenarios you describe don't cover all of them.....Do you actually think that a person who is r#ped is likely to be able to have the ability to procure and have the presence of mind in the following 72 hours........R#pe is a traumatic event.....

It makes me want to cry.......My best friend's daughter is a nurse in one of those states.....She has been going through so much craziness during Covid, with crowds of anti-vaxers yelling abuse at her and her colleagues as the come and go to work during the worst of the epidemic and just as that is finally settling down, now the anti-abortion freaks are starting up......I can't get a handle on it.........."Christo-Fascism" is a term being bandied about.....Religious Authoritarian ....

That sounds really irrational....ending an ectopic pregnancy shouldn't even be categorized as abortion.....That's like calling surgery to clear the uterus after an incomplete miscarriage an abortion.....trouble is, many lawmakers don't even educate themselves about how a woman's body works.........In a statistics course in college, we were given abortion statistics as an example of how statistics can be skewed to make a point.......Miscarriages can be called "abortions" in medical studies.....usually specified as "Spontaneous Abortion" but calling it just "abortion" is correct as well. This practice is used by anti-abortionists to skew statistics.

When do the men have any responsibility in preventing pregnancies?
