FUTURE.......

Reading some blogs about electric cars, climate change, horses etc........

I have some thoughts about it.....We Humans have been building our societies with the gas-powered car/truck/machinery in mind for a long time now.......cheap gas has had a huge impact on how we set up our world.......Converting to clean energy is so much more than how we power our cars.......We have become so used to the idea of the single person/family car that most people imagine that nothing will change but the fuel=source......

Covid taught us some valuable lessons about how we structure our lives, society, cities, living situations...........Millions of people discovered they could do their jobs from home......get educated from home......people invented new ways to think about work and society.......

When you look at poverty rate statistics of US cities, for instance, one of the top factors that are considered, is the distance workers have to commute............

There are young people working on these problems as we speak.....Suburb/shopping mall long drives between ......lack of efficient public transportation etc.....And then there is huge amounts of inefficient operations that we have just been careless and ignorant about.......And more sources of clean energy that are yet to be perfected.....like the tides here on the coast...........I trust that the young people will keep innovating and solving problems and people will adapt to new ways of living.......maybe eliminating some of the silly machines that were pushed after WW2 and really are just a waste of energy and resources..........

The statement 'adapt or perish, now as ever, is nature’s inexorable imperative' comes to mind - that change is an inescapable fact. I like that innovation brings about new possibilities with renewed hope for the future. Exciting.

People tend to be stupid on the outside but pretty smart on the inside.. feelings that are generated by subconscious reasoning.
Almost everybody knows we have reached the bubble's bursting point. Surprisingly most American's loved living in that bubble.
Due to outside influences, NOW, beyond our control...The bubble can no longer expand...but is being forced to be burst.
As one believes MAGA is fascists and autocratic.. Make America Great Again people Just believe it's the only way to save the bubble.
It's entirely based on a fear of the unknown future....and who get's to decide what that future will be.

But here's the rub.... No one GETS to decide.. The outside influences decide for "US".

It is exciting.....there is a backlog of innovative ideas that have not been implemented because the people in charge are much slower than the people with the ideas......

The MAGA club insists that it's members buy as much ugly disposable crap as possible.....and show up in person to rallies....in the middle of a pandemic......It's fascinating how Trump managed to sift and sift the US population to bring out those without logic or imagination...low information people.....those with advanced degrees in willful ignorance........and the prize goes to the lady in the umbrella-sized Styrofoam MAGA hat .......

You think you have to defend.
When all they are doing is fighting against an inevitable change
Can't you see it.. Can't you understand it... Religion is DYING. They can't save it.. Just make it die faster.
Telling Lies is about protection. protection from the truth.. but the truth always catches up.
Trump is a nobody, a nothing....... a golden idol, a false God. He is Greed and Power for a time when greed and power can be obtained.. But that time is ending. not for just him but for mankind.

The past is not dead, and the desired future will NOT be as great as people like you, who believe in that "wokeness", imagine. The self-proclaimed "gods" destroy recklessly everything that does not comply with their ideology which becomes a pitiless dictatorial regime. A conservative attitude does not mean being dumb and ignorant.

Happiness is when what you think, what you say, what you do are in harmony - M. Gandhi

    Quoting  :

We spend our live fighting our own insignificance.
But there is a Universal power in the insignificant..
There is no difference between the insignificance that makes up the entire universe and the insignificance of a fly.
The idea of that is just unacceptable to humans.. We fight for our significance.
politically, socially, economically and religiously.
We find a need to justify or explain our insignificance. We do it.. through God, through conspiracies, through wealth, control and power. All subjecting us, causing and creating our own insignificance.
We have a great propensity to make something that doesn't matter...matter.
For other things besides humans have been given the easy road of not having to question their insignificance. Yet everything is all the same
A choice, we make, in which our happiness is dependent..
The ability to find our significance within our own insignificance.
There is no design for our insignificance, no cause, no creation..we are just the same as everything else in the Universe.

So it's not that I disagree with your assessment of Klaus Schab..He is a rich Sob...but I choose to read him differently.
YOU WILL OWN NOTHING AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY".
It could be a conspiracy of the rich, to get richer... but that doesn't make sense they are already rich.
I prefer to believe it come from the understanding.. That owning something is not what makes you happy. There is no significance in owning something, only the insignificance of that which you own.

I meant to get back a little later yesterday regarding the phrase's 'own nothing, you will be happy' screenshot origin from an anonymous 4chan antisemitic post to then taking a life of its own during the pandemic and dangerous spread of misinformation directed at the World Economic Forum, of unnecessary lives lost/jeopardized in the article "How ‘own nothing and be happy’ sparked a misinformation campaign that targeted the World Economic Forum" (The Globe and Mail, 5 August '22 - contributor: Adrian Monck, Managing Director WEF). A worthwhile, informative read.
