MICHEAL CHRITON.......

When you met Micheal Chriton, the first thing you noticed about him is how very tall he was.....He was 6 foot 9 inches.....He was also slim and held his head high.......wayyyy up there. He was wearing a very good blue suit and carrying a brief-case.....striding through the door into the food area of the set ......He was there to see the director, but the director was busy dealing with a difficult situation....and I and several other actors and crew were sitting around in food services waiting........

Waiting for the Prima-Donna hero to get over himself.....Anyways.......I was stunned that Chriton sat down at our table with his coffee and asked us some questions and told us some stories........He ended up firing that director and directed post-filming changes himself.....That director was such an ass......He even went to jail for spying ....

One day one of the outdoor sets, I was going for a walk, get out of my trailer and get some fresh air and exercise before an hours long stint in make-up and hair.......I heard strange singing sounds coming from one of the tents.....It sounded like someone practicing Opera scales......over and over....I asked around and that's what it was......They had just hired a bunch of extras for a battle scene and the warriors were from the local Opera theatre.....practicing for an upcoming performance.......so incongruous........

At the time I wished I could spend hours with him.....He had degrees in Medicine and Anthropology, but his imagination towered over everything.......He used his education, travel and experience as a basis for his writing......He told us that he had written a book in the style of a research paper, gave up on it, then many years later he found it in his storage and assumed it really was a scientific paper......he started researching his notes and after finding that all his references were bogus, he remembered that it was a fiction story he had written and changed it into a novel......"Eaters of the Dead"......

As a 6'-4" person, I always have a hard time finding clothing that fits me. Cannot imagine being as tall as Micheal Chriton.

6'4" is very tall......When I was 19, my boyfriend was a 6'7" RCMP officer.....tallest cop in Canada at the time.....I loved leaning into him and being held in his arms.....but it didn't compensate for his personality...
