WE talk of the swamp....What is it?

Well in many ways this describes the swamp. Our inability to understand where a representative actually stands.

addendum, leverage, deals, collusion, quid pro quo. pork barreling, and party politics.

People get to hide their true vote, as they have on this one. There are just some issues that the public , has a right to know, where their representation stands. these issues MUST stand alone. WE have seen this with healthcare, and what we come to know is that there is no such thing as admitted compromise. The question we need to ask.. is.... is this this all being done by design. Is it the way of politics. Is it the way our representation wants it?
Issues that stand alone without compromise do not get resolved. No where to hide, no where to run, no where compromise.

This is not to negate compromise, but compromise has been turned on it's head, where compromise should be a win/win situation it becomes a lose/lose situation and the only compromise becomes....... I'll vote for yours, if you vote for mine.... No representative will admit to compromise, there is no middle ground.
It is always doing less.... to try and get more.
