Strong Women I class myself as a strong woman. That's because I have had to deal with some major challenges in my life. Instead of those experiences breaking me, they made me strong. I was determined to fight my way through because of my three girls. Not only did I develop unusual emotional strength, I also learned how to fight negative thoughts that wanted to drag me down. For every brick tha's thrown at you, use them to build your dreams. Picture the life you want, set goals and work towards achieving a better future. You can do it! Confidence will make you walk with purpose. When you're going through the storms of life and come out in one piece, your confidence will grow. Praying has been my lifeline. It's good to pour out your troubles and forget them. Praying isn't just getting down on your knees with your hands clasped. I pray by simply talking to God. I always get a sense of peace afterwards. And He does answer prayers. Having a high moral standard and living it accordingly will set you apart from the rest. People will respect you because of your lifestyle. A strong women is a force to be reckoned with. The roller coaster ride of life has toughened you, molded you and refined you into the women you are today. Ella Ella Grace |

I think women in general have always been strong. Oh, there are some who are weak, subservient, and codependent...... but there are also men like that. I liked your example of taking the bricks that are thrown at you and using them to build your dreams! That is a very accurate description of what strong people do. Perhaps we don't realize how strong we are, until we are in adverse situations? I know when I feel my weakest, God pours His strength into my life and I always manage to come through whatever it is. This was a good blog and something I needed to be reminded. Thank you. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

There's a football coaches saying to players who've been hit by a "brick"...... Are you hurt or are you injured? If you're hurt.. you get back in the game.... If you're injured.. you got to sit out for a while. You got to get better before you go back in. Life is sort of the same thing.....
