The Deer Stand,, An Update,,,

We've added the sheet metal to outside. It's coming along nicely. Still lots of work left to do though. The Boss has decided not to paint the camo pattern,, for now but he may change his mind at the last moment.
Stay tuned,, more update will follow.

Looking good. I want to see how the windows flip out all way up.
You must do a demo with you sitting or standing in it. LOL

The hunter could have a height adjustable padded swivel chair & watch all sides .

The hunter could bring a lady friend to sit in the chair with him in order to prevent any danger of frostbite while hunting the deer. LOL

Gramps,, Thank you for your input. The front of the stand is 7 foot,, the back 6'8", a 4' drop so no issues with rain and as for snow,, very rarely do we get any significant accumulation as to cause a collapse.
It will have 2 inch thick foam insolation which will dissipate the heat and keep in the warmth during hunting season and also act as a sound barrier ,, and yes,, i do know that animals have a very keen sense of hearing and smell.
The man I'm building this for does use a scent killer, as to what type, I have no idea but he's an avid hunter and he's also a Conservative hunter. The animal has to be at least 5 years old or he won't take the shot.
He has game cameras set out to keep track of the deer traffic as well as other wild life
As I stated,, he may change his mind on the camo paint. He changes his mind quite often which is why this project has taken so long to complete, that and the fact that I have other job duties to perform, this basically a side project
Again,, I thank you for you feedback and the compliments on my work.

In reference to Gramps knowledge of hunting deer.--------It is common knowledge that deer like apples.

So when your boss goes into production on those deer stands and markets them include an apple fragrance ladies perfume for the hunters lady friend & those deer will walk right up there to the stand without thinking. LOL

Who wants to shoot bambi anyway? LOL
The fun is in the hunt & getting out of the house. LOL

What? You didn't like my suggestions? LOL
You are Texan right??

It is common knowledge while the guys party out in the woods at the deer stand with the ladies their wives party at the dance places. LOLOL

So a deer stand with certain amenities built in is of great value to the experienced high dollar deer hunter.
They will spend every weekend of the season out there waiting for the trophy. LOL

You do excellent work.
Party On!

Gentlemen,,, Please,, if you wish to debate the finer points of hunting or other topics,, I ask politely that you do it on your own blogs.
TxJW,, there are no plans to mass produce deer stands. This was a side job commissioned by my Boss who also happens to be my Friend,, hard to believe that last part but it is true. He has treated me with Respect and Dignity and has supported me in my endeavors with the Company. He has boosted my self confidence and pushed me to excel in areas I was lacking.
I'm 62 years old, I have worked in the construction field since I was 14, in all those years, I have NEVER had a working relationship with ANY former employer as I have with Man I work for now and he has MY Respect and Gratitude for giving me to opportunity to utilize my years of experience.
Again,, I thank you one and ALL for your feedback and compliments.

Rebel I must apologize for taking the conversation beyond your boundaries. Actually your blog was very interesting because I had a manufacturing business. CAD CAM CAE.
We designed and made most anything. Some similar to what you have there.
The rotating chair in the center of the room with your stated dimensions were not a joke given rifle barrel length and all windows up to lower the echo of sound within a room. Like an old barbers chair.

I was just making general conversation on all the other so I stand corrected.
After you see this I shall delete & not do it again.
