i doubt u ever know what nhra stand for. as for ur 40 years of handling engineing bulding. that is same as ir alter id as wka amnd shutter bug.

i did rods back in teh 60s that turne the whels with botrhrt torque and top end.

my speciaty was tweeking chunks. or read ends which I am sure u like .

i any otehr drag racing indo u need ask.

fyi. yes 850 hp is easlity acheived. and could be in stocl set up.

the 327 exceed dsiplane to hp in late 56, covetter offers 327 witth 340 hp in 57.

stock body.

key is harnesinsg the hp t fit teh st up.

as fro breaking the tires loose . easily prevented with proper clutch set p.

also keep imn mind most high hp engines can generate huges numbers .if memtory serves me right.

one of the hihn end luxuerty brand creates over 900hp.

masaroti or lambrodine . it can be done. not isn a pick up bord demsions woth neevr handle t. thsi is why vettes can with hig hps

try to keep up if ur going to impress. u an tuneed not air breathers.

nitro would exceed 1800 hp. on a rail or funny.

GUEST knows his stuff. I was a fan for a few years but not a racer. The 327 motor was not available until 1961 or 1962.. I had a friend with a 1963 with that engine. In 1958 a 348 was offered that was the basis for the 409 of Beach Boys fame. Completely different engine that the 265/283/327.

Ream Ass says his specialty was rear ends.... why am a not surprised ? I think that is still his specialty.

Cool.
But you really need a Confederate plate on the front to complete the picture.

Love the colour blue. Don't know anything about the mechanics of it, but it sure looks good. Happy driving.
