There is a two part documentary ...called "Laurel Canyon".....It's about the music between 1965 and 1975....How it all came about.. it was truly the "Renaissance" of music for our generation.. Various artist.. from various locations...with various genre backgrounds..Congregating and collaborating in LA... it gave us....The Byrds. Buffalo Springfield, the "Mama' and Papas" "The Doors" "The Eagles", "The Monkeys".. And CSNY Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.. It gave us jackson Brown, Bonnie Rait, Joni Mitchcell, and Linda Ronstadt.. and i have left some out..since I am writing this by memory. They all lived in the same neighborhood..On Laurel Canyon..In LA
From it meager beginning of struggling Artists...where the music was everything.. then it was Money, fame, and drugs...That tore it all apart. But the music lives on..

There was always a song to speak to whatever emotion I was having at the moment. It often seemed like the words were written "just for me". Too many to pick just one favorite.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

'What a wonderful world' was the song I chose for my mother at her funeral service.  It was a song my mother loved as it reflected her outlook on life.  For my father, I chose his personal favourite, the beautiful 'Stranger on the shore' (Acker Bilk).  Thanks for the memories.
