I just got back from Wal Mart and the Eye Doctor's office. He did a short exam and took the prescription for my new glasses so went to get my glasses at the glasses place attached to the Dr.'s office.
My and -in-law are visiting from Indiana and find a house or double wide trailer for sale. They will be moving down here in a few months.
I asked Lori if she wanted go, she said yes so off we went.
I picked out my new frames go with my new prescription. The gal helped and fitted and said I could go out the door right there, so I did.
Uhhh, I got the car and thought, hmmm, did Lori go with  so I called Alfie and asked him if she went with because she wasn't there......he said she was. I turned around out front of the building and went back into the main room. There sat Lori reading a magazine! 
We then went to Wal Mart for a couple of things and she said, Mom don't forget I am here  while she went into a jewelry store just inside the store.
Yes, I did remember she was there but she did ask what took so long. I had to wait at the pharmacy and as usual only a couple of cashiers were open and had to wait in line.
Home now so I feel I need a nap! 
As I so often say, as Bette Davis said, getting isn't for sissies

I made some egg salad a couple of days ago. I THOUGHT I put it the fridge.
Hmmm, not there. Not the dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, any of the kitchen cabinets. Not in any closet. The trash can in the kitchen and also the one outside.
I made some kidney bean salad also and it is in the fridge.
Someone , a spook possibly, has come to take it away. 
I still keep looking but no luck...….it is really bugging me. The bowl I thought it was in was resting nicely in the cabinet, so no egg salad.
I will probably find it when it goes bad and starts smelling...…

Our family was visiting my brother and family in California. We were watching the moon landing on tv. I took my girls, then 4 and 6 out to look at the moon.
We got to the fence and I told them to look up at the moon and told them there were 2 men on the moon right now.
They stood there a minute and Lisa said, I don't see them and Lori said, I don't either.
I laugh whenever I remember this.

I just talked to my and the I wrote about was a ...my great great granddaughter.
They named her Amelia . The pictures sent to had a chubby , a white hat and cute. Looked like a but I guess I was wrong.
My didn't tell the sex when she sent the pictures.
Oh well, now I know!!!
My said she had a broken clavicle and the Dr. said it is fairly common. My also had a broken clavicle when she was born. We laughed and said it must run in the family.....
So now, the record is straight...
