MY WISH AND MY PLEA

"How sad, a heart that does not know what love is, that does not feel the greatness of love. If it doesn't have true love, how can it enjoy the blinding light of the sun, the beautiful colors of the rainbow and the soft light of the moon?"

My dear readers, today I am so pleased posting this special blog being eventually my 100th. Am really delighted to have been able to write as many, which I never expected before or since I came and joined you in Blog land.

My success is certainly due to your warm welcome, to your great encouragement, your kindness and your support, for which I humbly thank each and everyone of you. Without your visits, your views, your individual comments, I wouldn't have done so much. Or, I wouldn't have continued blogging till now. For me, it's a great personal achievement and my great pleasure undoubtedly. The list of all of you individually, is too long to be mentioned on here and I also remember all those who are no more with us, who have passed away or who have left the site but I have their prints still on my blogs. I think of them and have great respect for them too.

My timidity, my hesitation and my uncertainty, have faded away due to your encouragement and your kindness to me, since my very first post.
My simple hearty "Thank You", is incomparable to how I would like to express my gratitude to each you. Please, kindly accept my two little but meaningful words, "THANK YOU". You are and You will always be my friends.
I am grateful for your read and views.
Sincerely yours,
Lisa. xoxoxo

THE BOASTFUL SHOW OFF OF WEALTH .....FOR WHAT??

Obviously, there are over crazy Rich People, beyond our Imaginary. the mean examples are in Dubai. We all know that Money is necessary for our living and for our needs. We work or have worked hard eventually for our living but these over-rich people with their unaccountable fortune, do not know really what to do with their millions and billions . They use the Power of their Money as an Abuse, Yes, I call it an Abuse of showing off. A show off in every way, even to the utmost abuse of wild animals. These wild and beautiful bought animals are forcibly being tamed, chained and kept in their houses, in their gardens, they even dare to ride on them and parading around with them in and on their luxury super cars and powerful boats!!..A proof of their self-centered orientation and egotism.

It's like a competition of showing off between one another there and to the world at large. Looking at these poor animals that just can't do anything except to obey and act according to their crazy owners' desires. The photos below prove it all.

If we just consider how many orphanages, charitable organizations, how many poor people dying from hunger, having no roof on their heads to protect them from sun, rain and cold and also the great need of medical treatment in the poor countries !!. Comparing to the extreme lavish livings and eccentric behaviors of those there, who have beyond too much. Which make them fail to remember their era of donkeys and camels, comparably to these beautiful and distinguishable creatures of the forests!!.

Through these few following photos, you may ponder on it. I humbly thank you for your read and views.
Sincerely,
Lisa.

WHAT ARE YOUR PERSPECTIVE OR VIEWS ON A GUN OR HARMFUL WEAPONS

I have posted this blog on the related topic to have your views which will widen my knowledge and enlighten me on this matter. Here in my country, none of the public is allowed to owe any firearm or weapon, except the Police and Military to maintain Law and order and they must return these arms to the concern offices after working hours. Only those who possess a hunting gun ONLY for seasonal hunting of deer and warthogs in the hunting reserve and they are lawfully registered and in control as well.

Otherwise, none of the general public has ever hold any firearm or deadly weapon. We just see it with our Law enforcement officers, or in movies, on pictures or in magazines. There is no shop selling weapons here and none is allowed to order and purchase any from abroad as well.

Therefore, I would like to have your views or perspective on the following question:

A- Has it become a necessity, a culture or a luxury, owing such harmful weapon(s)?.
(Except the lawful authorities of course)

B- If such weapons are under control or forbidden to the general public, wouldn't the public and future generation have a better life and behavior?.
C- If weapons are not freely sold and not kept at home at the sight of and others, wouldn't life be fearless?.
D- Shouldn't there be a teaching strategy at learning institutes, against the use of arms in societies?

I greatly thank you in anticipation, for your read and views.
Sincerely,
Lisa

"ALEXANDER THE GREAT, KING OF MACEDONIA"

As a change, I have posted today, a brief account of "ALEXANDER THE GREAT". Just to recall a bit of ancient History.

Alexander III of Macedon (20/21 July 356 BC – 10/11 June 323 BC),commonly known as "Alexander the Great", was the King of the Ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon and a member of the Argead dynasty. Born in Pella in 356 BC, Alexander succeeded his father, Philip II who was assassinated, Alexander was proclaimed king by the nobles and army at the age of 20. He spent most of his ruling years on an unprecedented military campaign through Asia and northeast Africa, until the age of thirty he had created one of the largest empires of the ancient world, stretching from Greece to Egypt and into northwest India. He was undefeated in all of his battles and is considered one of history's most successful military commanders.

Alexander broke the power of Persia Empire, in a series of decisive battles. His empire stretched from the Adriatic Sea to the Indus River. Seeking to reach the "ends of the world and the Great Outer Sea", he invaded India in 326 BC. After a brief illness, with death staring him, Alexander realized how his conquests, his great army, and all his wealth were of no consequence. So, that mighty conqueror helplessly waiting to breathe his last, called his Generals and said, " I will depart this world soon, I have three wishes. please, carry them out without fail". Alexander died at the age of 32, in Babylon in 323 BC , the city he planned to establish as his capital, without executing a series of planned campaigns that would have begun with an invasion of Arabia. He had founded some twenty cities that bore his name, most notably Alexandria in Egypt. He is often ranked among the world's most influential people of all time, along with his teacher Aristotle. His 3 wishes are mentioned on one of the photos below. His Generals sadly agreed to abide by their King's last wishes.

I hope this blog will revive some of our memories about this Great Conqueror Alexander was. Thanks for your read and views.
Sincerely,
Lisa.

THE QESWACHAKA HANDWOVEN BRIDGE , THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD.

The Qeswachaka handwoven hanging bridge, of Cuzco, Peru.

Located approximately 100 km from Cuzco, Qeswachaka bridge was once part of a network of bridges, built in the time of the Inca empire, but is now the only one of its kind, in the world. Spanning 120 feet over the Apurimac river, at around 13,000 feet above water, Qeswachaka (also spelled Q’eswachaka or Keswachaka) is built using the ancient Qhapaq nan technique, used by the Inca people.

The last remaining Inca rope bridge is the Q'eswachaka bridge, spanning the Apurimac River near Huinchiri, in Canas Province, Peru. Even though there is a modern bridge nearby, the residents of the region keep the ancient tradition and skills alive by renewing the bridge annually, in June. Around 1,000 men and women, from various Andean communities gather at Qeswachaka bridge, every second week of June, for the rebuilding ceremony. Long blade of Qoya grass are woven into six long cables, which are bound and secured by eucalyptus trunks, buried at each end of the bridge. Several family groups have each prepared a number of grass-ropes to be formed into cables at the site, others prepare mats for decking and the reconstruction is a communal effort. It’s not that building a more modern bridge would be impossible, but this is a way for the Andean people to celebrate and honor their Inca ancestors and the Pachamama (Earth Mother), and keep their centuries old traditions alive. Below are a few photos which I hope will please you.

I hope this info would be of your interest in others ancestral tradition.
Thank you for your read and views.
Sincerely,
Lisa.

" A MYSTERIOUS TRIBE... OUT OF AFRICA "

A MYSTERIOUS ISLAND IS HOME TO AN INDIGENOUS TRIBE WHO HAS LIVED THERE FOR 60,000-YEAR...THEY ARE AN OLD COMMUNITY CALLED "THE SENTINELESE TRIBE". THEY LIVE ON THE NORTH SENTINEL ISLAND, WHICH IS LOCATED NEAR THE ANDAMAN ARCHIPELAGO, IN THE BAY OF BENGAL. THEY ARE BELIEVED TO BE THE LAST PRE-NEOLITHIC TRIBE IN THE WORLD, REMAINING ISOLATED AND ONE OF THE LAST STONE AGE TRIBE WHICH IS ALSO AN ENIGMA.

All knowledge about the Sentinelese, is derived either by observation from a distance or from comparison with other Andamanese tribes. They are classified as Negritos, and are thought to be directly descended from the first human population to emerge from Africa. They exhibit physical characteristics more commonly found in Africans, such as very dark skin, their peppercorn hair and their unknown language. The Sentinelese themselves appear however to be markedly taller on average than other Andamanese peoples. The population of North Sentinel island is estimated at 250 or 400 individuals. Though the exact number is not known exactly.

Sentinelese wear no clothes, but wear leaves, fiber strings or similar material as decorations. Headbands made from vines appear to be fashionable items among men. They live amid the dense forest of this island and there are no signs of agriculture. Although most of their tools and weapons are made from stone and animal bones, the tribe seems to make use of metal fragments that end up washed on their shore. They are surviving off the land and hunting for sea creatures. They are ‘extremely healthy, alert and thriving’ and need no help from outsiders. After the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004, there was a fear that the Sentinelese Tribe may have been wiped out, however they appear to have survived the event relatively unscathed.

It is very dangerous to visit them because they try to kill outsiders. Untouched by modern civilization, very little is known about the Sentinelese Tribe, their language, their rituals and the island which is their home. Visitors who venture onto or too close to North Sentinel Island risk being attacked by members of this mysterious tribe who have rejected modern civilization and prefer to have zero contact with the outside world. When they do interact with strangers, it usually involves violence and are known to fire arrows and fling rocks at low-flying planes or helicopters on reconnaissance missions. They are very protective of their territory. Due to their hostility, they are rarely photographed up close and most of the photos and video clips that do exist are of poor quality.
How they had reached there so far from Africa, is just a mystery!!.

India's government has given up on making contact with these islanders and has established a three-mile exclusion zone to preserve the culture of the Sentinelese tribe, their fishing waters which appear to be under threat by illegal fishermen and for fear that bacterial contamination which may cause their extinction. Therefore, the Sentinelese Tribe will be left to their isolation which they had so vigorously defended over many centuries

Below are a few photos luckily taken from afar and by aerial view.

1- The location of Sentinel Island ( in the Bay of Bengal).
2- The mysterious Island.
3- The Sentinelese on the beach.
4- A male of the tribe.
5- A female of the tribe.
6- Sentinelese fishing.
7- A scenery of the forest, where they live and their canoe.
8- The tribe on the beach, eyeing for any intruder.
9- A shipwreck in their water.
10- Their dense forest, their habitat.

I hope this blog has given you a rare insight and some known description of this mysterious isolated tribe of the North Sentinel Island.
Thank you for your view, I wish you a happy read.
Sincerely,
Lisa.

In Zimbabwe, all the people have a lot of money but they are poor....WHY??....
Have a glimpse at the following photos. They speak for themselves.

1- 500 million note, everybody has it.....maybe just nice for 1
Breakfast/lunch, ( equal to USD 2).
2- Everybody is billionaire..... Hummm!!
3- To buy food in plastic packet....you have to spend at least 10
million.
4- To buy vegetables.....5 million.
5- Eggs...6000 million ....To buy Chicken.....how many million?
6- If you want to eat in restaurant, please prepare the money........

THE EFFECTS OF JEALOUSY
Posted:Jul 27, 2015 7:35 am
Last Updated:Sep 4, 2015 1:06 am

Jealousy is a typical experience in human relationships. A painful apprehension of rival-ship in cases affecting one's happiness, painful suspicion of the faithfulness of the partner.
Jealousy often consists of a combination of emotions such as anger, resentment, inadequacy, helplessness and disgust. Jealousy is an emotion that can manifest itself in a number of interpersonal relationships---romantic or not. It originates in a feeling that someone else has an advantage that you don't or that a person dear to you, favors someone else over you. Both actions and people themselves can be described as jealous.

Jealousy can be a burning pain, an animosity, enmity, hatred, ill will; a tirade of abuse and of criticism, Or a dull lifetime ache of comparison to everything and everyone, it is unattractive, ridiculous and possibly a dangerous sign of delusions and possessiveness. Jealousy is a disorder/disease but love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other or assumes that the greater the love, the greater the jealousy.... In fact, they are almost incompatible; one emotion hardly leaves room for the other. Jealousy is triggered by the threat of separation from or loss of a romantic partner.

* Is your jealousy tearing your relationship apart? Are you jealous of every person in your partner's life?.Do you have a hard time trusting, believing or doubting your partner?. Ask yourself why you are choosing this behavior. Is your way being jealous, accusatory, highly monitoring and smothering? Why are you choosing that?.

* There's an expression: "What I fear, I create."
Are you testing your partner until she just finally fails? If you fear that she is going to cheat on you, you may just push her to a point where someone else may grab her attention. Imagine if someone else treated your partner with dignity and respect, didn't challenge her integrity every minute of every hour, but was in fact thoughtful, peaceful, harmonious and respectful. These are things that really matter. You need to worry about what you're creating. Did you ask yourself if with your jealous behavior, it would drive off your partner?.

Jealousy is a poorly disguised need for power and control. Jealous people are tyrannical, controlling, domineering and completely insensitive to the impact of their actions on their partner. Are you getting a power trip off of this? Is the payoff that you keep your partner on a short leash and completely under your control?.

* Choose to respect your partner and make some different choices. You have more power in your love, respect, personality and magnetism than you do in control and obsession. "People who have nothing to hide, hide nothing". Respect your partner enough to let her know about your love, your trust and your tenderness. These will attract her/him more closer to you.

* Why are you so obsessed?, But why are you dragging that into your relationship?, How dumb would you feel if you spent all the time worrying that she's going to cheat on you? And then it never happens? You're missing out on enjoying each other.
Though a little jealousy in a relationship is healthy, it's nice to know someone's afraid it loose you.

*The only way you'll ever get peace is, if you come to the realization that you can't control others. Find out how to control these emotions before they tear you and your relationships apart.

EXTREME JEALOUSY IS THE WORST ENEMY OF A PEACEFUL AND HARMONIOUS RELATIONSHIP.
RATHER BE CONFIDENT, UN-RESENTFUL, TRUSTFUL AND OPTIMISTIC FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP.

Thanks for reading this blog of mine, I wish each of you,
All my very best.
Sincerely
Lisa.
