MY WISH AND MY PLEA

"How sad, a heart that does not know what love is, that does not feel the greatness of love. If it doesn't have true love, how can it enjoy the blinding light of the sun, the beautiful colors of the rainbow and the soft light of the moon?"

To sensitize each of us about the unexpected disaster, the catastrophe, the considerable ruin and misfortune of the poor country Nepal and its population, where outnumber of lives has been lost and unaccounted for till today. I have therefore posted this blog, considering their grief, the misery, the despair and desolation of such a nation.

This Geological phenomenon with its disastrous consequences are unavoidable and uncontrolled by us human being. If we just imagine ourselves in such an homogeneous situation, how great our distress, our sorrow and our lost would be.

Let us give it a thought, let us feel and share their sorrow. Let us give them even the least we can to help them, to appease their misery and to let them know that we care for them from wherever we are. And let us remember them in our prayers too.

Below are some heartbreaking photos taken after that calamity in Nepal. I've done some collage to show as many photos as possible. They are eventually very touchy. I hope each of us would be sensible to the tribulation of this poor country, The Nepal .
Thank you for your views

THE ANSWER OF THE RIDDLE POSTED IN MY PREVIOUS BLOG....AHA!!

I would like to thank all of the viewers and mainly those who have posted their comments on my previous blog/riddle. Yes, it was a riddle, a riddle through which, I had described indirectly the feather of that picture, representing a Chameleon. But eventually, it was NOT really a chameleon. It was a posture which looks like it.

The reality:

IT'S A BODY PAINT BY A PROFESSIONAL ARTIST. USING 2 LADIES, LAYING DOWN ON EACH OTHER IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO DISPLAY THAT POSTURE. IT FINALLY TOOK THAT ARTIST, 10 HOURS TO PAINT THESE BODIES, MAKING THEM RESEMBLE LIKE THAT OF A CHAMELEON.

The CONSECUTIVE photos will show you how it was done.
Happy viewing.
Lisa.

We are living creatures as you are.
We breathe and eat as you do.
We also drink and hear just like you.
We walk, hold and see as you do too.

In our state as such, we can't confabulate nor articulate.
We must only cooperate, accentuate and correlate.
Our multicolored skin is variable, liable to predictable
transformation and eventually distinguishable.

You may contemplate our appearance,
Or speculate about our semblance.
But the importance is to impress you
By our aspect and our outlook.

Thank you for viewing this picture out of lots of us. Being not strange to you, you might have seen some before, perhaps less colorful, in other shades and patterns or perhaps in plain natural color.
But you'll be surprised afterwards with more pics of our appearance, which may or will subsequently stun you.

YOUR VIEWS AND OPINIONS ARE OUR EXPECTATIONS, WE THEREFORE THANK YOU IN ANTICIPATION.

With thanks,
LISA.

I dedicate this blog to MBN and to all those suffering from Heart Disease. I hope the inset would please you and give you hope and encouragement for the future. Thanks for reading it.

Cardiovascular disease includes a number of conditions affecting the structures or function of the heart. Cardiovascular disease generally refers to conditions that involve narrowed or blocked blood vessels that can lead to a heart attack, chest pain (angina) or stroke. Other heart conditions, such as those that affect your heart's muscle, valves or rhythm, also are considered forms of heart disease.

They can include:
Coronary artery disease (narrowing of the arteries)
Abnormal heart rhythms or arrythmias
Heart failure
Heart valve disease
Congenital heart disease
Heart muscle disease (cardiomyopathy)
Pericardial disease
Aorta disease and Marfan syndrome
Vascular disease (blood vessel disease)
Heart attack.

Coronary Artery Disease.
Coronary artery disease (CAD) is atherosclerosis, or hardening, of the arteries that provide vital oxygen and nutrients to the heart.
Abnormal Heart Rhythms
The heart is an amazing organ. It beats in a steady, even rhythm, about 60 to 100 times each minute (that's about 100,000 times each day!). But, sometimes your heart gets out of rhythm. An irregular or abnormal heartbeat is called an arrhythmia.
Heart Failure
The term "heart failure" can be frightening. It does not mean the heart has "failed" or stopped working. It means the heart does not pump as well as it should. This then leads to salt and water retention, causing swelling and shortness of breath and are the primary symptoms of heart failure
Heart Valve Disease
Your heart valves lie at the exit of each of your four heart chambers and maintain one-way blood-flow through your heart. Examples of heart valve problems include mitral valve prolapse, aortic stenosis, and mitral valve insufficiency.
Congenital Heart Disease
Congenital heart disease is a type of defect in one or more structures of the heart or blood vessels that occurs before birth. Congenital heart defects may produce symptoms at birth, during childhood, and sometimes not until adulthood.
Cardiomyopathies
Cardiomyopathies are diseases of the heart muscle itself, also called an enlarged heart, thickened, and/or stiffened. Without treatment, it worsens over time and often lead to heart failure and abnormal heart rhythms.
Pericarditis
Pericarditis is inflammation of the lining that surrounds the heart. It is a rare condition that is often caused by an infection.
Aorta Disease and Marfan Syndrome
The aorta is the large artery that leaves the heart and provides oxygen-rich blood throughout the body. These diseases and conditions can cause the aorta to dilate (widen) or dissect (tear), increasing the risk for future life-threatening events.

DIAGNOSIS,
Key heart tests include:
Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG)—Blood test, Nuclear scan, Coronary angiography (or arteriography)

TREATMENT
THE CARDIOLOGIST WOULD DECIDE ON THE CORRECT MEDICATION AND APPROPRIATE TREATMENT TO EACH CASE.

And If Surgeries should be involved such as: Stents, Angioplasty and Stents, Heart Bypass Surgery, Valve Disease Treatment, Cardioversion, EECP, Ablation, Pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICD), Lead Extraction, Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) , Heart Transplant.

The cardiologist always chooses and plans the needed one from the above possibility. It is important to learn about your heart to help prevent heart disease. And, if you have cardiovascular disease, you can live a healthy and active life by learning about your disease and treatments and by becoming an active participant in your care. I wish MBN and all a better health and success in their treatment. God bless you.
Sincerely,
Lisa.

ONCOLOGY FOR TUMOR AND CANCER TREATMENT.

Today, my blog is on an Important topic which I hope may interest you. It is related to our health and it is called ONCOLOGY.

Oncology, is a branch of medical science dealing with Tumors and Cancer, their physical, chemical, biological properties, including their origin, development, diagnosis, classification, treatment and prevention of malignant neoplasms, Cancer the World second deadly disease.

An Oncologist is a doctor who specializes in treating people with cancer. The three main types of oncologists are medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists. These different types of oncologists often work together to treat a person with cancer. They are called either Cancer specialists or Oncologists. They have several specific roles. They help in diagnosis of the cancer, help in staging the cancer and grading the aggressive nature of the cancer.

Cancer is any type of malignant growth or tumor, caused by abnormal and uncontrolled cell division: it may spread through the lymphatic system or blood stream to other parts of the body, an evil influence that spreads dangerously. However, when cancer cells establish themselves in the body with their own blood supply and begin replicating out of control, cancer becomes a threatening neoplasm. The altered genes or oncogenes, direct cells to multiply abnormally, thereby taking on the Aggressive and Destructive characteristics of cancer.

Treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation are effective with many cancers, but they also end up killing healthy cells. Gene therapy attempts to correct the faulty DNA that causes the uncontrolled growth of cancer cells.

Oncology diagnostic tools

Common methods include Blood tests for biological or tumor markers. Rise of these markers in blood may be indicative of the cancer. The Clinical History of the patient. Oncology also depends on diagnostic tools like Biopsy or removal of bits of the tumor tissue and examining it under the microscope. Other diagnostic tools include Endoscopy for the gastrointestinal tract, imaging studies like X-rays, CT scanning, MRI scanning, Ultrasound and other Radiological techniques, Scintigraphy, Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography, Positron emission Tomography and Nuclear medicine techniques etc.

Based on the grade and stage of the cancer, oncologists help plan the therapy that is suitable for each of their patients. This could be by Surgery, Chemotherapy, Radiation therapy and other modalities. Treatment of cancer may involve other specialists as well. This includes a surgeon, a radiation oncologists or a radiotherapist etc. The whole of the cancer therapy however is co-ordinated by the oncologists. Once initial therapy is completed the oncologists is responsible for follow up of the patient to detect relapse and remission. The former means recurrence or return of the cancer while being in remission means remaining cancer-free.

I hope the info here has given you an adequate theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. Today, millions of people all over the world, are living with cancer or have had cancer. Cancer is the second leading cause of death. To all those leaving with this dreadful disease, I wish them courage, faith, perseverance, patience, hope and may each find the successful treatment.
You are in my prayers, God bless you.
Sincerely,
Lisa.

JUST A BRAIN-TEASER FOR EACH OF YOU.

Noticing me, gazing at me from a distance at first, then approaching me gradually, getting nearer and nearer, still aiming at me, trying to level me. My body seems so attracting and emitting a scent which is lovable. The insistence is great, trying again to flush me. At my inattention, succeeding to approach my body, touching it on different places. I shifted, going further to my dismay. But still coming to me, enjoying my smell, nosing me here and there, tasting my substance, trying to murmur at my ears even afar or near. Though my resistance, I couldn't prevent that occurrence and it happened even without my consent. Slaying was my aim but I was awkward or unskillful maybe, though I really tried and failed. But next time, I'll use my two hands with precision.
Can you guess or name this pretender?.

Thanks for reading it, I hope you'll find the answer. Good Luck.
