MY WISH AND MY PLEA

"How sad, a heart that does not know what love is, that does not feel the greatness of love. If it doesn't have true love, how can it enjoy the blinding light of the sun, the beautiful colors of the rainbow and the soft light of the moon?"

WHICH CAME FIRST THE CHICKEN OR THE EGG?, A RIDDLE !!.

History of the dilemma..

At some point everyone has heard the question: "Which came first, the chicken or the egg.". What is surprising about this question is that it can still produce any debate.
It is important to remember that a species is an arbitrary designation based on how we elect to classify particular animals.
Was the animal anterior to the egg, or did the egg precede the animal?

If we were to examine the continuum of a chicken's evolutionary path, we would begin with some ancestor, and observe gradual variations occurring, until such time as we arrive at the animal we now call a chicken. However, what we couldn't do, is to draw a definitive line during this evolutionary path and declare everything on one side of that line as pre-chickens and everything afterwards as actual chickens.

Yet, every creature alive is already a complete animal. Every one may well possess traits that are important, and given the right environmental pressures could prove themselves to be the ancestor of some future species. Of course, there is no way to know that presently but it is important to recognize that there are no "transitory" species. There are no "missing links". Each animal is a continuation of its predecessors and if sufficient changes accumulate, then we may consider them to be different species. However, that is an imposition of our rules and not nature's.

Our designation of a species is little more than arbitrary divisions to account for varying degrees of evolutionary divergence. Consequently we can safely say that the egg always came first, albeit through a long ancestral line of eggs if we are to be precise.
There could not have been a first egg to give a beginning to birds or there should have been a first bird which gave a beginning to eggs; for a bird comes from an egg.

The mutation of molecules could be the factor of the chicken of today. Chickens evolved from non-chickens through small changes caused by the mixing of male and female DNA or by mutations to the DNA that produced the zygote. These changes and mutations only have an effect at the point where a new zygote is created. That is, two non-chickens mated and the DNA in their new zygote contained the mutation(s) that produced the first true chicken. That one zygote cell divided to produce the first true chicken.

There is a long evolutionary continuum leading to the birds we now call chickens. It's about resolving the paradox of an apparently endless cycle.
It is an assumption of the conundrum. About the evolution. Say it is logically, as well as factually, flawed.
We also agree that the evolutionary lineage of chickens is a continuum, and that any line dividing proto-chickens from chickens is human-imposed and arbitrary, a manifestation of the human need to fit things into neat categories.

Now, we can express our own thoughts and exchange our ideas and opinions on this so long time riddle. Thank you for your participation, I hope we'll be able to find the answer. I look forward to reading from you and I thank you in anticipation.
Thanks again.
Lisa.

WHAT IS YOUR PERCEPTION ON DIVORCE?

Divorce is a very stressful issue in the life of legally married couples who wish to end officially their union. . Divorce laws vary considerably around the world, but in most countries it requires the sanction of a court or other authority in a legal process. The legal process of divorce may also involve issues of alimony (spousal support), custody, visitation / access, parenting time, support, distribution of property, and division of debt. Divorce procedures also differ in some religions, sects and tribes in the world.

In my country, Mauritius, before proceeding to the Court of Law to file a divorce, the parties are advised to attend a private meeting with The Family Counseling and the Couple's Therapy, which comprise of A Legal Adviser, A Psychologist and A Priest or another religious person, according to the faith of the parties. They always try to reconcile the parties, specially those with . Though the couples are not forced to attend these sessions. They are however free to directly file the divorce in the court of Law, where legal actions will proceed.

The types of Divorce:

Summary divorce; Collaborative divorce; Mediated divorce;
Contested divorce; At-fault divorce; No-fault divorce; Uncontested divorce.

Causes of divorce:

Adultery; (Extramarital sex; Infidelity); Domestic violence; Midlife crisis; Addictions to Drug, Alcohol and gambling; family strain; Insecure; Emotional verbal or physical abuse; Abandon; Furious Jealousy; possessiveness, Lack of Love, attention and Intimacy.

It is considered that the first 5 years could be relatively divorce-free,
Marriages that had lasted 10 to 15 years are speculated to end in divorce; if a marriage survives more than 20 years it is unlikely to end in divorce, though sometimes liable due to some obvious circumstances.

Marriage is like a concealment of surprises, good, less good or bad even. Lots of marriages nowadays, do not even last a year or two, specially among young couples, who may be unprepared for it. Is it the modernism?, self dependency? Lack of maturity? Lack of total freedom or inappropriate or incompatible partners?. What are the main reasons of these currently multitude Divorce??. I would really like to have your views on this issue which will surely enlighten us more on the causes of " DIVORCE ".

Thank you so much for your participation and I look forward to reading from you.

"ANIMALS IN LOVE".. ... JUST AS WE SOMETIMES DO

Animals are capable of a range of emotions, such as happiness, sadness, empathy, grief, curiosity, anger, anxiety and fear.
We'll look at some examples of animals that, while without the necessary language tools to convey their mental perceptions to us, could be displaying signs of consciousness on par with our own.

Elephants, on the other hand, along with sea lions, geese, bears, monkeys and moose all appear to be hit hard by the death of a loved one. On a more cheerful note, dolphins, chimpanzees, elk and rats are among the multitude of mammals and smattering of birds that engage in play, appearing blissfully happy when they do.
Animal happiness is the fact that animals appear to have neurological processes similar to that of humans.
Therefore, Animals do have emotional feelings and reactions according to circumstances, in their own unspoken ways, but they do eventually show it.

Proponents of the animal happiness idea argue that this evolutionary mechanism should be present in any animal with a conscious mind. Since we have proven animals experience aversive emotions like fear; logic follows that they should also be able to experience pleasurable feelings like happiness. Proof that animals could feel happiness or any other emotion would present a very interesting ethical and moral dilemma for humans.

Love knows no limits and that’s true for our friends in the wild, in captivity or domesticated. Check out the most adorable snaps of tender moments in the animal kingdom.

THE BIRACIAL - BLACK AND WHITE TWINS.

The occasional sensational stories of the "Black and White Twins: Born a minute apart", are really just overblown reports on siblings who, because of normal genetic variations, have different complexions. That the public feels empowered to declare that two infants born to the same mother and father are actually different races says a lot about how many people give racial identity more credit for being objective than it deserves.

Here is the story of Kian and Remee, The Black and White twin sisters, born just a min apart. The pair owe their appearance to a one in a million combination of their parents’ genes. Mother and father both have white mothers and black fathers. The startling result is a two-tone set of delightful little girls. They first attracted international attention when they were featured less than a year old.

Their mother recalls the moment she saw them for the first time: ‘I noticed that both of them had beautiful blue eyes,’ she said.
‘But while Remee’s hair was blonde, Kian’s was black and she had darker skin. To me, they were my and they were just normal. I thought they would start to look the same as time went on. Time, however, only accentuated their differences. Kian’s eyes changed color and her skin got darker. Remee’s complexion got lighter and her curly hair stayed blonde ".

Perhaps unsurprisingly, their mother found herself fielding questions about whose they were, or who Kian’s fair-haired friend was, when she pushed them in their side-by-side buggy. "People looked at them doubtfully and asked lots of questions about them. It's kind of irritating me at first, but it was only strangers or outsiders who didn't know".

MILLION TO ONE BABIES.
The odds of a mixed race couple having twins of different colors are a million to one. Skin color is believed to be determined by up to seven different genes working together. If a parent is of mixed race, their eggs or sperm will contain a mixture of genetic codes for both black and white skin. However, if both the egg and sperm contain all white genes, the baby will be white. And if both contain just the versions necessary for black skin, the baby will be black. Kian and Remee have almost the same character, the same likeness and they get on very well. They do not bother about the color thing at all. They are just themselves. They do not see what everyone else sees.

Another pair of biracial twins, which is so rare comparing to normal identical and un-identical twins. Lucy and Maria, the black and white twin sisters from England, whose father is white and whose mother is Jamaican.
It's just the most recent story of fraternal twins born with such dramatic variations in complexion they're seen by many — and even see themselves — as members of two different racial groups.

When people first see Lucy and Maria, they can tell that the two young women are strikingly pretty. What they can't tell is that Lucy, who has fair skin and ginger hair, and Maria, who is dark-skinned with black hair, are actually biological twins. But even though it is possible for an interracial couple to give birth to biracial babies, it is incredibly rare, which is why it was a huge surprise for the mother when her newborns were handed to her looking nothing alike. But she was certain the twins were her own babies and accepted their differences. Lucy and Maria have embraced the fact that their totally un-identical twin look is precisely what makes them unique and really cool. "Maria loves telling people at college that she has a white twin – and "I'm very proud of having a black twin," Lucy said. And one of the great things about having a twin who looks completely different is that people do not mistake them for one another.

These kinds of twins are so rare in the world and it has eventually inspired me to post my blog on this topic today. Below are a few pictures of the biracial twins, hoping my blog will please you. Thanks for your interest in reading it.

CHINA'S ATLANTIS and THE LOST LION CITY

Here I am today, again posting a new blog. As I've been encouraged to continue, by my faithful readers whom I gratefully thank. In gratitude, I have chosen to post this blog on " The Underwater Lost Lion City " of China. Hoping it would please you.

Shi Cheng an ancient city, was founded 1,300 years ago in Dong Han period (25-200 A.D.). Located in Zhejiang, (China), Shi Cheng was set up as a city in 208, it was the center of politics and economics and was later named "The Lion City", because of the Five Lion Mountain that loomed large behind it. "The Lion City" defied the Chinese norm since 5 gates and 5 towers were built into the city instead of 4, and a maze of white temples, memorial arches, paved roads and houses were also built.

But in 1959, the Chinese government decided a new hydroelectric power station was required. The 290,000 residents were displaced from " The Lion City ", where their ancestors had lived in for over 1,300 years. Making way to built a man-made lake, so the valley was flooded. The lake and thousands of islands were made. Erecting a dam, the historical metropolis was slowly filled with water until it was completely submerged by the turquoise-blue mass referred to as Quandao Lake.

" The Lion City " was purposely-flooded but it remains completely intact 130ft underwater after 50 years, even the wooden beams and stairs and structures are still intact. This Lost City was totally forgotten... until divers have started to uncover parts of it and International archaeologists and film crew has recorded the amazing preservation of the lost ruins.

Big Blue dive operator based in Shanghai, is running weekend trips twice a month throughout the year to the underwater lost city, using the metropolis as a tourist site.

Below are some photos of " The Lost Lion City ", I hope they will please you. Thank you for reading my blog and Happy viewing.

CRITICISM ON MY ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Today, I feel obliged to post this intended blog under such Tittle, after being criticized of My simple English Language, such language which I use as simple as I can, to make me understood but never with any pretension to be "A Jack of All Trade"!!, This is not in my nature, I am just a simple and humble person which I am proud of.

If one is or pretends to be a Shakespearean , A MASTER OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE or even MORE ROYALIST THAN THE KING!!. I don't give a damn for it,
It is not a trump which is written on one's face or as one's credential on SFF here.

Blogging on here is not a Competition and there's no Prize or Crown to be won also. It's only for fun, to pass the time, informative sometime or otherwise but it is not an exam or any degree to obtain on here too.

I wonder and would like to ask the following: The English Language and Expressions used on here, are they unmistakable, clean and distinct as such!!??. "One shouldn't try pull the straw from others' eyes when he cannot pull those from his own eyes even.!!".

I am not and I never pretend to be " MADAM-KNOW-ALL", to criticize and correct everyone. After all, who is far better than others on here!!?. " Elementary dear Watson"!! As Sherlock Holmes used to say. But certainly, my statement does not apply to all the readers, only to those who will identify themselves accordingly.

Another thing which, I must also clear out on here, just to satisfy one's curiosity and doubts. Fortunately, I am an Officially Certified French Language Teacher and have obtained my academic university degree in my profession. Oh YES, I had certainly worked abroad as well, in several countries, including anglophone countries most of all. Is it such a surprise??. I shouldn't think so.

I never contest any one's profession whatever was mentioned as such .What's my concern or interest in it?. My simple friendship on here. is not based on anyone's profession and status, neither on his nationality, his skin color or his religion. I consider each and everyone, just as an equal human being with the same right.

Oh! beside this, my profile details have never been changed since my three years being on SFF and my photos are certainly of me, the same person too. I hope, my above text is adequately clear and understood though written in My Simple English Language ... However, if need be, I can also translate it into French, Creole or Italian!!.

Thank you for reading me on here. Wishing everyone all my best, still in my friendly way, without any grudge or enmity.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON INTERFAITH MARRIAGES

Today, I have posted this blog on " INTERFAITH MARRIAGES", such marriages are occurring in most countries between two people of different faith.

Marriage, also called matrimony or wedlock, is the legally or formally, socially or ritually recognized union between a man and a woman. Marriage is a legal contract and a sort of bond, binding a couple with or without consent, either as a must or as a will, though in different culture and religion, it isn't the same.

THE INTERFAITH MARRIAGE

Interfaith marriage typically connotes a marriage in which both partners remain adherents to their distinct religion and as such, it is distinct from concepts of religious conversion, religious assimilation, cultural assimilation, religious disaffiliation, and apostasy. Nevertheless, despite the distinction, these issues typically are associated with many aspects of interfaith marriage.
Some religious doctrines prohibit interfaith marriage. Others traditionally oppose interfaith marriage but may allow it in limited circumstances. Several major religions have left the matter relatively unspecified and still others allow it entirely but with some requirements for ceremony and custom.

It is clear that building a successful, long-lasting union is not easy when partners come from two different faiths, the challenges can be even more daunting, disappointing and disheartening. It is the decision of both partners to sort it out before involving in such wedlock.

But with love, respect and a healthy dose of compromise and tolerance however, interfaith marriages can be also, both successful and happy.

I would very much appreciate your participation on this important issue, by posting your views, your opinion or your perception, which will be greatly welcome, as it may enlighten us further more. Thank you in anticipation.

Below are a few photos depicting some Interfaith marriages.
Hoping my blog will please you.
Thank you.

A VERY SAD AND DEVASTATING HAPPENING

Today, my blog is on a sad event which happened in
Australia a few years and about someone really special in his skills, his concepts and remarkable works, someone whom many of us may know or will read about now.

Bruno Torfs is a great artist, painter and sculptor. Born in South America, then moved with his parents to Europe in seek of new opportunities. After being a sign writer, Bruno became an artist, then diverted his talent and spirit to adventure. He created a unique style full of culture and characters, on wood and loving hand crafted from clay. After several years, Bruno and his family moved to Australia to create A Sculpture Garden that he would run as a permanent attraction.

He had found the perfect place in the small Victorian village of Marysville. After months of backbreaking work, Bruno’s art and sculpture garden was opened to the public. The garden began with just fifteen life sizes terracotta sculptures, but after years of hard labor, over one hundred and fifteen pieces were on display in the fairy-like forest which enchanted all the visitors..

On the 7th February 2009, a raging bush fire occurred across the Australian state of Victoria and resulted in Australia’s highest ever loss of lives, animals, their livelihoods and unfortunately all of Bruno Torfs' unique forest creation and sculptures were also destroyed.
A very heartbreaking event.

Please take a moment to contemplate some of Bruno's beautiful artwork which I have posted below for your pleasure.

Thank you for your time and for your personal comments.
Happy viewing.
