MY WISH AND MY PLEA

A TRIBUTE TO THE LOVING WORLD OF ANIMAL

A parent’s love for their knows no boundaries, and this is true for our ANIMAL friends too. In these heartwarming photos of ANIMAL parenting, you’ll recognize many of the same love, tenderness, attention and stressful childhood moments that you may have also experienced as a parent.
Ecologists tend to separate ANIMALs into two groups based on their parenting – the K and R categories. The K category includes ANIMALs like elephants, cats, others and us – ANIMALs that have relatively few offspring with longer gestational periods. Their fewer offspring require more focused care and for a longer time. Parents from the R category go for quantity over quality, with many offspring that grow up hazard and individually have small chances of survival.

ANIMALs make us realize what is most important in life. Parenting isn't just for humans, The protection of parents, is wonderful .
Some ANIMALs are better parents than some humans even and here are some proofs for that. The pics:

1--What is under this mommy’s colorful wings–2 sleepy chicks!
2--Penguins use a buddy system to help watch over their young, adults take turns forming groups around baby penguins in order to keep them safe and warm.
3--Parents always know best–this loving mother swan tucks her babies under her wings where they will stay warm and dry while traveling across the pond.
4--Papa bear teaches his cub some things he doesn’t want mom to know about when they get back to the den later.
5--Crocodiles are also family-oriented!
6--Play Time! This big mama finds her baby cub’s ticklish spots!
7--This is one strong possum carting around 6 babies on her back,
while simultaneously scaling a fence–you go mom!
8--How cute are they?!
9--While mama hunts for some food, baby decides, now is a nice
time to take a nap.
10--“But I’m already clean, mama!”

I hope these pictures would please you.
"Awesome part of God's creation, for he has such artistic ability".
Enjoy it and happy viewing.

Bonsai lit.: Plantings in tray, from BON, which is a tray or low-sided clay or porcelain pot and SAI a planting or plantings, is a Japanese art form using miniature trees grown in these type of containers.

Bonsai is a art of dwarfing (make small) varieties of trees or plants and developing the trees into an aesthetically appealing shape by growing, pruning and training them.
The essence of classical Bonsai is to produce a healthy miniature representation of a tree. It is a miniature piece of breathtaking natural scenery grown in a small pot. But it is completely different from the average potted plants.

These miniature plants are true works of art. They reflect the artistic skills, patience and horticulture knowledge of bonsai enthusiasts. It takes many years of love and labor to create them.
But they are really an eye-catch and stunning plants. One can grow Bonsai, of any kind of tropical trees, flowers and even fruits.
Hereby, I have posted a few pics of Bonsai Blooms for you to admire.
In my next blog, I may post some other stunning Bonsai of fruit trees and other plants too. Happy viewing,
Hoping these ones have pleased you,
Lisa.

WHEN THE TWO FORCES MEET.

Today, I have posted a blog on two great elements which are: Fire and Water. Fire from a virulent force from the Volcano and Water from the great Ocean or the Sea.

When molten Lava flows from a volcano towards the ocean or the sea, it is really very spectacular. Distinguishing on one side, the vast spread of water and on the other side, the fearful and fierce glow of the flowing molten lava.

When the two elements collide, it's a fierce challenge, it gives such a beautiful scenery, the sounds and atmospheric shot, are a profound cinematic moments in the nature.
Clouds of steam rises as hot lava meets the water, the steam plumes, the lava bubbles into the ocean and rising steam creates a rainbow across the evening sky. Here is a quote on this challenge:

" Dancing through the sprinklers of your infinite grace, I laughed and I giggled in my limited space, thinking I was secure in your warm embrace".

Below are a few pics referring to the blog title, hope you will enjoy them. Happy viewing.

Today, I have posted a few pictures of the rainbow nation of Mauritius. Our nation started during the French and the British occupation of the island. Therefore with the inter-marriages between the Europeans and the others here, it has really created a mixed and beautiful population in diversity.

Therefore the physiognomy of our population is such a medley of appearances and of characteristic features. The skin color varies from Light, Tan and dark. The Tan skin is due to mix marriages with the Whites, such as to the Europeans and else, their trend was and is even now to marry the Tan skin people here. Dark skin is from those who marry only within their own community. But whatever the spectrum of the skin coloration, it eventually contributes to make the beauty of our rainbow nation as shown in the following numbered and described pictures.

1- The a random photo of the people.
2- Creole girls, for a show of our national dance, " The Sega"
3- A young Creole girl.
4- A group photo of the Hindu here.
5- The Chinese, ethnic here.
6- The Muslim community also here.
7- The Queen Elizabeth College, my Sec. school before.
8- Some participants in a contest.
9- A show on the beach by the women's club.
10- A photo of my , Emily, in our garden here.

I have very much more photos of the Mauritian nation but I can't post more than these ten pics only on a blog, as permitted.
Hoping that you have got an idea of our population and specially for you, for the first time, a photo of my .

Our Motto is: "ONE COUNTRY, ONE NATION AND ONE DESTINY"..

Thanks for your time, thanks for reading and viewing.

My Dear Readers.

To tell you more about the story of my country Mauritius, today I have posted a new blog on the INDENTURED LABORERS AND SLAVES brought in Mauritius in 1834.

Each year, on the 2nd November, it is a day of deep reflection on the great toils and struggles of the indentured laborers and slaves and their contribution in the fashioning of Mauritius.
Indentured laborers, from India, called (the Coolies/ Kuli) had started a six weeks long historic voyage from Bombay/Culcutta, by the British colonials, on the ship Atlas which reached The British Mauritius on the 2nd November 1834.

They were contractual, coming here to work in the sugarcane fields. Those Indian laborers worked from sunrise to sunset, six days a week and they were also required to perform light duties on Sundays.
They were provided with food, clothing, lodging and medical care. They were called the Hill Coolies of India. Landed at Port-Louis, the capital of Mauritius, in a place close to the old Customs House, awaiting the officials documents and medical certification. They had to stay there for days before taken to work.

Until 1987, this place was known as "The Immigration Depot or The Coolies Ghat", then it has been renamed, "The Aapravasi Ghat." in Hindi, thus means The Landing place of Immigrants. On July 2006, It was inscribed in the World Heritage List of UNESCO..

In conclusion, it is through their labor and sacrifices that the Indentured Laborers and mixed African Slaves of Mauritius were able to play a major role in the lengthy process of transforming a little known Island Mauritius, into A Prosperous Beautiful Country which serves as a shining Beacon to the rest of the World.

The archives pictures are as follows:

1- The history image.
2- A group photo of the Coolies.
3- The steps taken to reach the Immigration Depot.
4- The Depot where they were being kept until their work.
5- Naming each of them.
6- The hut where they lived with their families.
7- They sugarcane fields where they worked.
8- The ox cart to load the canes to the cane mills.
9- Their folkloric chant and dance.
10- A photo of an Indentured young woman.

Hoping it has pleased you, thank you for reading and viewing it.

DIWALI, THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, IN MAURITIUS.

Today the 23rd of October 2014, it is the feast of Diwali

Mauritius as a multicultural country, every culture and faith are respected here. After Christmas which is the most celebrated feast by everyone in Mauritius, Diwali or Deepavaly, is the second big festival among the most spectacular, attractive, popular and colourful festivals widely celebrated here. Every Mauritian of Hindu faith, whether Tamil, Telegu, Marathi or Gujrathi, decorates his house with lamps and illuminate them with multi-colored electric bulbs. At times, these are lit continuously for a whole week too.

Divali, also known as Deepavali is the festival of lights. ‘. Thus it refers to rows of lights. As it falls on the moonless night, it is one of the darkest nights of the year but when a million lamps are lit, it becomes the brightest night. This festival symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, truth over untruth and good over bad. Sweets such as ‘laddoo’, ‘ gulab jamun’, ‘sweet potato cake’, ‘jalebi’, ‘nankhataye’ and ‘rasgoolas’ are prepared and then distributed to relatives, neighbours and friends. At night, many people, even non- Hindus, walk along the streets to enjoy the beautiful scenery the Divali night offers.

Rabindranath Tagore has said of Diwali in one beautiful line:
“The night is black. Kindle the lamp of love with thy life and devotion.”

GREAT THANKS TO ALL MY READERS AND VIEWERS.

TEARS AND CRY, THE MESSENGERS OF EMOTION.

Dear Readers,

Today, I have posted a new blog on an emotional topic, titled: " TEARS AND CRY, THE MESSENGERS OF EMOTION, I hope it will interest you and as usual your comments are greatly welcome.

Tears formed through crying are associated with strong internal emotions, such as sorrow, remorse, guilt, compassion, elation, awe or pleasure, laughing, humor, yawning, emotional stress, anger, suffering, mourning, frustration, fear, physical pain, or other intense emotion. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition and of unspeakable emotion.
There's a reason for tears. Crying is a way to elicit support from others during times of distress. Infants cry to get the attention of their parents, while an adult may cry to get the sympathy of a friend or loved one. Tears are the silent language of grief.

Women cry not because they are weak, when a woman cries, it is not for one small silly thing but it's built up prolonged anger and emotional burst that she has been holding in for too long. This is the moment when she wants to be with someone who can just hug and share her pain and grief. At such moments she just needs someone who can make her feel loved to the core.

Men also cry sometimes, though they are stronger than women but at a certain time, emotion overtakes their strength, either by remorse, by guilt, by anger, by thoughts, by love, by despair, by isolation by loneliness. Though they may try to hold it, to hide it but when it is at its peak, they are unable to prevent it. This is natural for everyone and nothing to be ashamed of. Thanks for your attention, happy reading and viewing too
Lisa.
