Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s best friend in business, confirmed then-Vice President Joe Biden’s involvement in the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma Holdings.

Archer testified Monday that in December 2015, co-founder of Burisma Mykola Zlochevsky and Burisma executive Vadym Pozharski put pressure on Hunter Biden to get help from Washington, DC, regarding the Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma for corruption.
“Yeah, he was involved in that,” he replied.
“Joe Biden knew that his was on the board of this company that was being hassled by the prosecutor whose firing he was calling for?” Carlson asked.
“Right,” Archer said.
Carlson questioned what the Burmisa board members thought of Shokin’s firing. “What did you think?” Carlson asked.
“Again, they’ve tried to beat this into my head a million times because it does work on paper as far as the, you know, the logical steps,” Archer said. “But we were told that Shokin had already been taken care of, that he was under control and that this was going to be a whole big problem for Burisma now.”
Archer said the point where the Burisma relationship went sour for the Bidens is when the energy company released a photo and announcement that Hunter Biden joined the board.
“Long story short … they released some picture on the website that Hunter had joined the board,” Archer said. “And that was kind of — that was like the tipping point where Icarus had arrived a little too close to the sun.”
Emails obtained from the National Archives show that Joe Biden approved the official statement in December 2015 about Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board – despite claims he was not involved with the family’s business.
“Burisma released it, didn’t tell us,” Archer said of the announcement. “And, and it was like the most Googled news story in the world for 18 hours. And I was like, this is going to be different.”

Hunter Biden confirmed in court he pocketed hundreds of thousands from China, contradicting his father
Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler slapped President Biden with "Four Pinocchios" over his false claim that his Hunter never made MONEY from China.
Kessler began Tuesday's fact-check of the president by revisiting comments he made in both presidential debates in 2020 when he repeatedly denied claims that Hunter did business with China.
"But now, nearly three years later, Biden’s assertions have been directly rebutted by Hunter himself," Kessler wrote. "In court testimony last week, the younger Biden acknowledged that he in fact had been paid substantial sums in China — the first official confirmation that this was the case."
The fact-checker laid out how Hunter Biden accompanied his father while he was vice president on an official trip to China in 2013 and "by Hunter's own admission, he used the trip to connect with a Chinese business partner, even introducing the partner to his father."
"Twelve days after he flew to Beijing, Hunter Biden joined the board of a just-formed investment advisory firm known as BHR (Bohai, Harvest and Rosemont), whose partners included Chinese entities, including the man he introduced to his father," Kessler wrote.
"Separately, after Joe Biden left public office, Hunter Biden in 2017 inked a deal with CEFC China Energy, a Chinese energy conglomerate. The Washington Post reported last year that documents, including emails found on a Hunter Biden laptop that emerged during the final weeks of the 2020 presidential campaign, showed that over the course of 14 months, the CEFC and its executives paid $4.8 million to entities controlled by Hunter Biden and President Biden’s brother, James. The Post did not find evidence that Joe Biden personally benefited from or knew details about the transactions with CEFC," he said.
He went on to detail Hunter Biden's exchange with U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika, who grilled him on his foreign business earnings including a $1 million retainer he received from Patrick Ho, a CEFC official who Kessler noted "would later be charged in the United States in connection with a multimillion-dollar scheme to bribe leaders from Chad and

Hunter Biden told business partner Devon Archer that the Chinese tycoon who helped them secure a multi-million-dollar venture in the communist state loved him for his "last name" and for always traveling with "handsome godlike Aryan men," according to emails reviewed by Fox News Digital.
In the 2011 email thread, Hunter bragged to Archer about his relationship with Che Feng, a Chinese business tycoon who they referred to as "The Super Chairman."
The emails show that Feng helped Hunter’s firm Rosemont Seneca Partners and James Bulger’s firm Thornton Group LLC secure their partnership with Jonathan Li's firm Bohai Capital in order to later launch Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), which is controlled by Bank of China Limited.
The news comes after Archer reportedly told the House Oversight and Accountability Committee in a closed-door interview Monday that Biden, as vice president, had coffee with Li and wrote a college letter of recommendation for Li's .
The email thread began on Sep 21, 2011, when Michael Lin, the co-founder of Bulger's Thornton Group, forwarded a term sheet of the joint venture fund with Li to Hunter and Bulger, who is the namesake nephew of Boston crime boss James "Whitey" Bulger.
"Gents, Rock just sent me the translation of the cooperation term sheet (below and attached) about which Jonathan is now talking to SS in HK. Jonathan will use this (with blanks filled after confirmation with SS) to discuss with us in DC," wrote Lin, who has worked with the State Legislative Leaders Foundation (SLLF), a nonprofit that partners with the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, a propaganda group that pushes Chinese Communist Party (CCP) messaging.
