'Embarrassing' dissent cable shows Biden 'allowed' Afghanistan to collapse

"What we saw was their prediction, with great accuracy, of exactly what was going to happen and what the outcome would be if they did not change their directions," the congressman said. "We saw a response from the office of the State Department saying, ‘We hear you, and we agree, basically, we don't take it lightly.’ And then, obviously, we know what they did and didn't do, which was totally insufficient for the warning that was given."
EXCLUSIVE: Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., is slamming the Afghanistan dissent cable that Secretary of State Antony Blinken allowed congressional access to Tuesday as "embarrassing" and said it debunks the Biden administration's narrative that it was caught off guard by the country's swift collapse in 2021.
Issa, who serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Fox News Digital that he was the first committee member to view the dissent channel cable from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul and Washington's response.
The State Department’s "dissent channel" allows for contrary views to be expressed by officials. The document, signed by 23 staffers and diplomats, warned about the possibility of a rapid Taliban advance as the U.S. left the country, which President Biden and other top officials downplayed at the time.
They redacted the specific names, but we now know that many of them were senior executive surrogates, meaning people that are paid at the highest level in the State Department," he continued. "They knew and understood that there was no way that the Afghan military was going to defend successfully. They did not disagree with that, and as a result, they knew that Kabul would fall within weeks, that the Taliban would do what they have done, which is to continue to kill and persecute individuals, and they allowed it to happen."
Issa said the cable also revealed that "there was no expectation by the State Department that there would be sustainability" in the region and knew that the billions of dollars of U.S. military equipment that was left behind was going to fall into the Taliban's hands.
Issa said the cable went out on July 13, 2021, the response came back a week later on July 20, and Kabul officially fell weeks later on Aug. 15.
"Every prediction came through, including the quick collapse of the Afghan army," he said.
Issa said his next course of action is trying to get the document declassified so that the families of the 13 U.S. service members who were killed during the chaotic withdrawal can get to the bottom of what happened.

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends First,” National Black Farmers Association President John Boyd Jr. reacted to a report by Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Open the Books that the U.S. government has given at least $490 million in U.S. grants and contracts to Chinese entities and another $870 million to Russian entities since 2017, including $1.6 million to Chinese food producers by stating that China is buying up American farms, “and this administration is giving them resources to do these types of things.”
Boyd said, “You know, when you look at what China is doing, they’re buying America’s farms. So, when I spoke about farm foreclosures, it’s operatives like Chinese organizations that are purchasing these farms right here in the United States. So, we can’t go to China and buy their farms, but they can come to right here in the United States and buy our farms, and this administration is giving them resources to do these types of things. Something is terribly, terribly wrong with this picture and we have to look at what’s really going on. The American farmer is suffering right here with the highest input costs we’ve had in our nation’s history for America’s farmers. We’re out here struggling and we’re managing to help countries like China and Russia, America’s two biggest adversaries

Do you realize that Democrats completely made up the Russian collusion hoax? That Steele was offered $1 million to show that the dossier was authentic but couldn’t do it?
That the FBI literally changed evidence to go after Trump? That they had an insurance policy to try and stop Trump from becoming President? That they illegally obtained FISA warrants to spy on Trump’s campaign? Over $100 million have been spent investigating Trump.

Biden’s OWN laptop shows evidence in the form of emails that Joe Biden gets 10% of a cut. There are 179 SARs that show payments to at least 9 different Biden family members. That hunter committed a felony by not being registered as a foreign agent and not paying taxes on the money he received until the Grand Jury caught him. Which is exactly what Paul Manafort went to jail for. Hunter also has a felony for lying on a firearm application.
The bottom line is that Democrats keep saying that there’s no evidence, there’s no evidence because this completely corrupted FBI (as pointed out above) won’t investigate the Biden family. So you can say why is it so unfair that people are treated differently because of their political affiliation, or you can keep saying there’s no evidence. There is plenty of evidence, just no investigations to back it up! The evidence is whistleblowers, SARs, emails, and coverups of the laptop by the FBI to big tech. The list is endless. $61 MILLION was given to the Biden campaign by China, WHY?

A Chinese warship came within 150 yards of hitting the USS Chung-Hoon on Saturday before crossing its bow a second time at closer to 2,000 yards while the U.S. destroyer was conducting joint exercises with Canada in the Taiwan Strait, the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) confirmed.
The incident occurred as U.S.-Chinese tensions remain high in the South China Sea.
The Chinese ship "executed maneuvers in an unsafe manner," overtaking the USS Chung-Hoon on its portside at 150 yards while the U.S. destroyer was sailing "through waters where high seas freedoms of navigation and overflight apply" with Canada's HMCS Montreal, USINDOPACOM)said in a release.
The Chinese ship then crossed Chung-Hoon’s bow a second time "starboard to port at 2,000 yards and remained off Chung-Hoon’s port bow," the release added.
USINDOPACOM)said "its actions violated the maritime ‘Rules of the Road’ of safe passage in international waters."
The U.S. told the Chinese ship to stay away from the destroyer and at the last moment the Chinese altered course, Canada's Global News reported The Chung-Hoon slowed down to 10 knots but maintained its course.

Accuser alleges Biden involved in a $5 million bribery scheme with a foreign national
EXCLUSIVE: The individual behind the information that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national is a "highly credible" FBI confidential h*man source who has been used by the bureau in multiple investigative matters dating back to the Obama administration, Fox News Digital has learned.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley were approached by a whistleblower alleging that the FBI was in possession of a document — an FD-1023 form, dated June 30, 2020 — which explicitly detailed information provided by a confidential h*man source alleging Biden, while serving as vice president, was involved in a $5 million criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national in exchange for influence over policy decisions.
A source familiar told Fox News Digital on Friday that the confidential h*man source who provided the Biden information to the FBI was a "pre-existing" FBI source who has been used in multiple investigative matters separate from the Biden information.
The source told Fox News Digital that the confidential h*man source was used by the FBI for "at least several years" before the generation of the June 2020 FD-1023 form detailing the Biden allegations.
The source also told Fox News Digital that the confidential hum*n source has been "consistently reviewed by the FBI" and has been "found to be highly credible."
The source said the individual participated in investigative matters during the Obama administration.
The FBI did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
"We know the FBI has very serious allegations against then-Vice President Biden. The question is what did they do with it. Did they investigate the leads or sweep it under the rug?" a spokesman for Grassley told Fox News Digital. "This is exactly why we need transparency into the document and what the FBI did with it? That’s what Sen. Grassley has sought from the start."
Comer, R-Ky., subpoenaed the FBI's FD-1023 document last month, but the bureau did not comply because it said it was trying to protect sources and methods. Comer threatened to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress if the bureau did not turn over the physical document to the committee.
