Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley slammed President Biden and the White House on "America's Newsroom" Thursday for their handling of questions surrounding his Hunter's business dealings after the president lashed out at Fox News' Peter Doocy for asking about the controversy.

It shows utter contempt for the American people, for the White House to say we've been saying this constantly and then changing what they've been saying. The president said it repeatedly throughout the campaign and during his presidency that he had no knowledge of his 's foreign dealings, and that he didn't speak to any of his 's associates after his testimony. Devon Archer swatted back on the spin being given by the White House and others and said it was categorically untrue that the president did not know about their business dealings. That's a direct contradiction of what the president has told the public for years. So now they're saying, well, he wasn't in business. Well, the question is, what is that business? The Biden family has been accused of influence peddling for decades. Not just Hunter Biden, but his uncle and others. They now have millions of dollars, up to $20 million going to Biden family members. Those are benefits to the president. You know, the president's worth about $8 million. He's not going to spend all of that in his lifetime. Most people of his age and wealth are more focused on leaving a legacy, a particularly financial legacy for their family, the Biden family fund. That's where this money is going.
Biden sparred with White House correspondent Doocy on Wednesday over recent allegations that he spoke with his Hunter’s business associates.
Following his comments about green energy and "Bidenomics" in New Mexico, Doocy asked the president about Hunter Biden’s former business associate Devon Archer testifying that he witnessed the president speaking with various potential during his time as vice president.
"There’s this testimony now where one of your ’s former business associates is claiming that you were on speakerphone a lot with them talking business. What—" Doocy started.
Biden responded, "I never talked business with anybody, and I knew you’d have a lousy question."
"What — why is that a lousy question?" Doocy continued.
"Because it’s not true," the president insisted before walking away from the reporter.

The "Third Bank Records Memorandum" follows two previous memos tying Biden family members to payments linked to entities in China and Romania. The committee says the foreign payments to the Biden family now total over $20 million.
GOP Oversight produces redacted bank records related to Burisma, Yelena Baturina, Kenes Rakishev
House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., released a third memo Wednesday about the Biden family’s foreign business dealings, producing bank records purporting to show that Hunter Biden and his business associates received millions in payments from Russian and Kazakhstani oligarchs when his father was vice president.
The 19-page memo, which provides screenshots of redacted bank records, says
millions in payments came from Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, as well as Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina and Kazakhstani oligarch Kenes Rakishev, and that then-Vice President Biden attended dinners with Baturina, Rakishev and a representative from Burisma.
"Then-Vice President Biden met—in person, for significant periods of time—with those individuals or their representatives," the memo states. "Then-Vice President Biden joined approximately 20 phone calls on speakerphone with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates and attended dinners with foreign oligarchs who paid huge sums of MONEY to Hunter Biden. Joe Biden, ‘the brand,’ was the only product the Bidens sold."
"During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine," Comer said in a press release announcing Wednesday’s memo.
The third bank memo, the result of subpoenas of several banks not belonging to members of the Biden family, specifically discusses three of the many firms founded by Hunter Biden: Rosemont Seneca Partners, LLC; Rosemont Seneca Thornton, LLC; and Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC.
The committee provided screenshots of bank records they say demonstrate that Baturina, the widow of former Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov, wired $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton on Feb. 14, 2014.
Then, a total of $2,752,711 was transferred to Rosemont Seneca Bohai, which Hunter co-owned with Archer, according to Archer’s statements to Congress last week.
The memo said Biden attended a dinner in the spring of 2014 with Baturina, Hunter, and others at Café Milano in Washington, D.C. During his congressional interview last week, Archer said former Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov and Kazakh oligarch Kenes Rakishev and "possibly" Luzhkov were also in attendance.

Biden previously described Eric Schwerin, a top exec at his firm, as his father's 'close confidant and counsel'
Following Devon Archer’s bombshell congressional interview last week alleging President Biden’s deep involvement with Hunter Biden’s business dealings, a new light is being cast on his ’s longtime business partner who stands to know even more.
Eric Schwerin visited the Obama White House and then-Vice President Biden’s residence at least 36 times between 2009 and 2016, likely to make him the next target of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings.
Schwerin was the founding partner and managing director of Hunter's now-dissolved firm Rosemont Seneca Partners when he was appointed by then-President Obama to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad, an independent U.S. government agency, in early 2015.
"Eric asked for one of these the day after the election in 2008," Hunter revealed about Schwerin’s appointment in an email on March 13, 2015.
Schwerin was reappointed to the commission in January 2017.
The number of Schwerin's visits to the White House could be much higher than 36 if any of his meetings fell under its voluntary disclosure policy exception of "purely personal guests," due to his handling of the Biden family’s personal finances.
"The White House will not release access records related to purely personal guests of the first and second families (i.e., visits that do not involve any official or political business)" the Obama administration’s archived website says.
Hunter’s ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, who was married to the president’s from 1993 to 2017, revealed in a memoir in June 2022 that Schwerin "managed almost every aspect of our financial life."
Hunter also acknowledged that Schwerin was a "close confidant and counsel" to his father in a February 2014 email thread with Schwerin, Fox News Digital previously reported.
Peter Schweizer, the president of Government Accountability Institute and an expert on Hunter's business dealings, told "Sunday Morning Futures" host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday that "If Devon Archer was the sort of business guy, the deal guy in how you structure this, Eric Schwerin was the money guy."
One of Schwerin's visits to the White House - in November 2010 - was a sit-down with Biden in the West Wing. Schwerin also visited Biden’s residence at least 15 times for various holiday receptions, including the Dec. 12 holiday reception in 2015 that came a couple of days after Biden’s infamous trip to Ukraine, where he threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid if the country’s leaders did not fire their top prosecutor.
According to White House visitor logs, Schwerin attended the reception along with Hunter, Archer and Sebastian Momtazi, an associate who worked in Rosemont Seneca’s New York City office with Archer. Archer, who was also on the Burisma board with Hunter, and Momtazi both had Burisma.com email addresses, according to emails previously reviewed by Fox News Digital.

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm was heavily criticized Friday after a Fox News Digital report showed she spoke twice with a top Chinese government official before the White House announced plans to tap emergency oil stocks.
According to internal Department of Energy (DOE) calendars obtained by Americans for Public Trust, Granholm consulted China National Energy Administration Chairman Zhang Jianhua, a senior member of the Chinese Communist Party, Nov. 19, 2021, and two days later on Nov. 21, 2021.
On Nov. 23, 2021, the White House announced a release of 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR).
"Before telling the American people of their plans to undermine our energy security by draining the SPR at record rates for political purposes before the midterm elections, Secretary Granholm reportedly first secretly consulted with the Chinese Communist Party," House Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers said in a statement.
"Since then, DOE — under her leadership — has sold millions of barrels of oil from our SPR to China — the world’s biggest polluter," she added. "It would appear Secretary Granholm meant it when she said America should 'learn' from what China is doing."
In March, during an interview at the annual SXSW conference in Austin, Texas, Granholm remarked that China is "very sensitive" about climate change and that the U.S. should "learn from what China is doing" on the issue. The energy secretary also lauded China for investing "a lot in their solutions to achieve their goals," triggering numerous rebukes from Republicans.
McMorris Rodgers added Friday that her committee would demand "answers and full transparency" from Granholm. And McMorris Rodgers reiterated the importance of Congress passing the Protecting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act, which would ban the federal government from selling any petroleum product reserves, including those from the SPR, to Chinese entities.

"The Biden administration secretly colluded with the Chinese Communist Party to help lower energy prices in China while hardworking American taxpayers were left to pay more at the pump here at home," House GOP Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., said Friday. "They always put America last."
As part of its announcement in November 2021, the White House said it was releasing oil from U.S. reserves in conjunction with "other major energy consuming nations including China." However, President Biden said in remarks after the announcement that China "may do more as well," and Granholm told reporters during a press briefing that China "will make its own announcement."
In a June 2022 letter to Granholm, McMorris Rodgers warned China, instead of releasing oil stocks, has increased its own reserves since November 2021. The letter noted China may now have crude inventories of about 950 million barrels, which would make its reserves the largest in the world.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration has sold at least 2 million barrels of oil from the SPR to Unipec, an affiliate of the state-controlled China Petrochemical Corporation. Zhang, who met with Granholm in 2021, served in a leadership role for years at the China Petrochemical Corporation, Reuters previously reported.
The first such sale was part of an SPR sale of 20 million barrels awarded to eight companies in September 2021. The other two — both sales for 950,000 barrels of oil — came in April 2022 and July 2022.

They (documents) bear directly on the essential element of whether Rudy Giuliani, and therefore Donald Trump, knew that their claims of election fraud were false. Good- faith reliance upon claims of fraud, even if they later turn out to be false, is very different from pushing fraud claims that you know to be false at the time.
In other words, Trump and Giuliani honestly believed the 2020 election was stolen. This conclusively proves that Trump is being prosecuted based on his opinions.
It turns out that Special Counsel Jack Smith either failed to review evidence that exonerates President Trump and Mayor Rudy Giuliani or he ignored the findings altogether.
Tim Parlatore, the attorney for former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, told CBS News that Smith’s office has within thousands of pages of records turned over by Kerik that contains “exculpatory evidence.” The exact reason why Smith has not disclosed this critical information remains unclear.
According to CBS News, these documents were submitted to Smith on July 23.
Kerik’s legal team says that these materials, which include affidavits under oath from people raising concerns regarding the integrity of the 2020 presidential contest, demonstrate there was an honest effort to investigate voter fraud claims in the election.
Yet Parlatore got “surprising” news when the special counsel’s office started asking him for documents which he had already handed over after they indicted Trump on Wednesday.
CBS News reported:
In an Aug. 2 email to Parlatore, reviewed by CBS News, a special counsel’s office prosecutor requested “responsive documents as to which the Trump campaign is no longer asserting a privilege,” referring to the Kerik records Parlatore said he previously provided.
Parlatore said he was “stunned” when, after the indictment came down, the prosecutor contacted him asking for the records he said he had already provided. Parlatore said the “records are absolutely exculpatory.
There is also other evidence to back up Trump’s claims of election fraud. The Gateway Pundit has extensively reported on the irregularities that occurred during the 2020 Presidential election.

CBS News notes that Parlatore served as a lawyer working for Trump in the Justice Department’s investigations into the 45th president, but left the legal team in May.

“Joe Biden knew that his was on the board of this company that was being hassled by the prosecutor whose firing he was calling for?” Carlson asked.
“Right,” Archer said.
Carlson questioned what the Burmisa board members thought of Shokin’s firing. “What did you think?” Carlson asked.
“Again, they’ve tried to beat this into my head a million times because it does work on paper as far as the, you know, the logical steps,” Archer said. “But we were told that Shokin had already been taken care of, that he was under control and that this was going to be a whole big problem for Burisma now.”
Archer said the point where the Burisma relationship went sour for the Bidens is when the energy company released a photo and announcement that Hunter Biden joined the board.
“Long story short … they released some picture on the website that Hunter had joined the board,” Archer said. “And that was kind of — that was like the tipping point where Icarus had arrived a little too close to the sun.”
Emails obtained from the National Archives show that Joe Biden approved the official statement in December 2015 about Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board – despite claims he was not involved with the family’s business.
“Burisma released it, didn’t tell us,” Archer said of the announcement. “And, and it was like the most Googled news story in the world for 18 hours. And I was like, this is going to be different.”
