Our entire history says "NO!!!". Current history says "NO!!".
Anyone have any examples of ANY society EVER demonstrating people living for any length of time in Peace and Harmony? Every once in a while there's a Scandinavian reference, but what about their suicide rate?
Either demonstrate the concept or get a grip on Reality. Anything else usually results in genocide.

Pretty much describes my feelings about wannbe candidates of BOTH Parties. I feel this strongly enough that, for whatever reason, I predict NEITHER will be candidates after their respective Conventions.
Your thoughts?
(having said that, Trump is the less despicable of the two, IMNVH

How do you convince a group of people to give up their freedom and money? Have an "enemy" in place. Something/someone powerful and intractable. Then you convince them that only by giving up (whatever your agenda is), can this enemy be "degraded and defeated".
Global Warming is perfect, but it isn't working out so well - the numbers have been fudged and people know.
Enter ISIS. The nicest thing you can say about ISIS is that it was an "unintended consequence" of barry's precipitous pull-out from the Middle East. The fact remains that they are there and, according to the head of the CIA, they're winning.
And they're being used as an excuse to disarm law-abiding US citizens.
Clever, no? Left to their own devices, barry and the dems will NEVER defeat ISIS.

Certainly not (generally) for information. Most of the "players" here are well-informed.
To a large extent, I do it to keep my friends laughing. In the face of the stupidity and insanity washing over the USA, those of us who believe we are exceptional (and have done something to keep it that way) need a chuckle.
But the horrible truth is that I'm hoping people like Fatboy will blow a gasket. All that self-hate and extra weight make him a prime target for stroking out, and he'll be a much more useful citizen as a drooling vegetable than he ever was as a Marxist "useful idiot".
