A definition of globalization that I can understand
and to which I now can relate:

Question:
What is the truest definition of Globalization ?

Answer :
Princess Diana's death.

Question: How come?

Answer :
An English Princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a French tunnel,
riding in a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgian who was
drunk on Scottish whisky, (check the bottle before you challenge the spelling),
followed closely by Italian Paparazzi, on Japanese motorcycles, treated by an American doctor, using Brazilian medicines.

This is sent to you by a Canadian, using American Bill Gates' technology, and
you're probably reading this on your computer, that uses Taiwanese chips,
and a Korean monitor, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant,
transported by Indian truck drivers, hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by
Sicilian longshoremen, and trucked to you by Mexicans who are in the
US Illegally.

That, my friends, is
Globalization

I was thinking - If only million people have Obama-Care, how will 24 million people die if it is repealed? Will an additional million people be randomly shot?

I was thinking - If women do the same job for less , why do companies hire men to do the same job for more ?

I was thinking - If you rob a bank in a Sanctuary City, is it illegal or is it just an Undocumented Withdrawal?

I was thinking - Each ISIS attack now is a reaction to Trump policies, but all ISIS attacks during Obama’s term were due to climate change and a plea for jobs.

I was thinking - If Liberals don’t believe in biological gender then why did they march for women’s rights?

I was thinking - if the Democrats are OK with killing babies (abortion) why are they so concerned with the at the border?

I was thinking - Why is it Democrats think super-delegates are fine, but they have a problem with the Electoral College?

I was thinking - The DNC is mad at Russia because they “think” they are trying to manipulate our election exposing the DNC is manipulating our election.

I was thinking - If Democrats don’t want foreigners involved in our elections, why do they think it’s all right for illegals to vote?

I was thinking - If gun control laws actually worked, Chicago would be Mayberry, USA.

I was thinking - I have no problem with vigorous background checks when it comes to firearms. While we’re at it, let’s do the same when it comes to immigration, Voter I.D. and candidates running for office.

I was thinking - We should stop calling them all “Entitlements”. Welfare, Food Stamps, WIC, ad nausea are NOT entitlements. They are taxpayer-funded handouts and shouldn’t be called entitlements at all. Social Security and Veterans are Entitlements because the people receiving them are entitled to them.

They were earned and for the recipients!

Is Logic the same thing as Common Sense?

Life is not a fairy tale. If you lose your shoe at midnight, you’re probably drunk.

If women are upset at Trump’s naughty words, who bought 80 million copies of 50 Shades of Gray?

Not one feminist has defended Sarah Sanders. It seems women’s rights only matter if those women are liberal.

No Border Walls. No voter ID laws. You figured it out yet?

Chelsea Clinton got out of college and got a job at NBC $900,000 year. Her mom flies around the country speaking out about white privilege.

And just like they went from being against foreign interference in our elections to allowing non-citizens to vote in our elections.

Watching the left come up with schemes to “catch Trump” is like watching Wile E. Coyote trying to catch Road Runner.

President Trump’s wall less than the Obamacare website. Let sink in, America.

We are one election away from open borders, socialism, gun confiscation, and full term abortion nationally. We are fighting evil.

They sent more troops and armament to arrest Roger Stone than they sent to defend Benghazi.

60 years ago, Venezuela was 4th on the world economic freedom index. Today, they are 9th and their citizens are dying of starvation. In only 10 years, Venezuela was destroyed democratic socialism.

Russia donated $0.00 to the Trump campaign. Russia donated $5,600,000 to the Clinton Foundation. But Trump was the one investigated!

Nancy Pelosi invited illegal aliens to the State of the Union. President Trump Invited victims of illegal aliens to the State of the Union. Let sink in.

A socialist is basically a communist who doesn’t have the power to take everything from their citizens at gunpoint ... Yet!

How do you walk 00 miles across Mexico without food or support and show up at our border 100 pounds overweight and with a cellphone?

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez wants to ban cars, ban planes, give out universal income and thinks socialism works. She calls Donald Trump crazy.

Clinton $850,000 to Paula Jones To get her to go away. I don’t remember the FBI raiding his lawyer’s office.

I wake up every day and I am grateful Hillary Clinton is not the president of the United States of America.

The same media told me Hillary Clinton had a 95% chance of winning now tells me Trump’s approval ratings are low.

“The problem with socialism is sooner or later you run out of other people’s .”— Margaret Thatcher

Maxine Waters opposes voter ID laws; She thinks that they are racist. You need to have a photo ID to attend her town hall meetings.

Trump — They’re not after me. They’re after you. I’m just in their way

I was going do a blog about all this, but my friend C.E.B has done a much better job than I could ever do...........SO, you're going hear from him again

It is sad that twice again we, as a nation, experienced mass shootings this weekend. Since the beginning of this year, 6 Americans have died in 22 mass shootings (a mass shooting is defined as or more deaths). But this is not the time politicize but the time come together as a nation and ask why.

As of the time I am writing this essay, we do not know how these latest shooters obtained their weapons. But we do know that in many of the past cases the weapons were not legally obtained. This means that, in most cases, gun law would have done little to prevent these tragedies. In nearly all cases, the gunmen chose targets where there was little chance of return fire. We did not see them military or police sites. The El Paso shooter chose of the few places in Texas where guns are not allowed. That tells me that most of these deranged individuals are nothing more than cowards.

While politicians and society like point guns I hear very few pointing a society and culture that feeds these sick minds. We live in a schizophrenic society that condemns the pulling of a trigger but celebrates the post-birth killing of as enlightened thinking. We want be safer as a society but we condemn and prosecute the police when they have be tough in doing their jobs. Hollywood speaks against violence while producing movies portraying unbelievable violence and teaches how cheap life is. We hear popular music advocating the lowest denominator of values.

Each year nearly 40,000 people are killed in automobile-related deaths. A that is rising because people are driving more aggressively and with less regard for others. Common societal courtesies and manners have gone the window. Exchanges of ideas now become armed camps which end friendships and family ties. Schools teach students distrust anyone excels. There are video games where mass shooting is advocated and the more you kill the higher your points.

All the gun laws in the world will not change what a sick society teaches. It is time we stop focusing on guns and focus on the reasons some want to use them to mass murder. It is time we address how they obtain their beliefs. If culture continues on its present course, this is going to get worse.......much worse

I am always interested in news that is little reported. It sometimes reveals more information than major stories.

This past week the Senate held confirmation hearings to confirm Brian Buescher as a federal district judge for Nebraska. The final vote was 51 - 40 along party lines.

Normally, not news-worthy. But we owe Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii much gratitude for discovering a shocking fact about nominee Buescher; a fact so shocking and so heinous as to be almost unspeakable. A fact so horrible as to be capable of bringing the government down

Nominee Brian Buescher is a member of.......The Knights of Columbus: a Catholic organization dedicated to charity, patriotism, and fraternity.
I hope you have recovered from this horrible news. But, rest assured, Senator Hirono saved us.

Senator Hirono said:
'The Knights of Columbus has taken a number of extreme positions. If confirmed, do you intend to end your membership with this organization to avoid any appearance of bias?'

Now, I ask a very simple question. One worth thinking about:
What the hell have the Democrats down to "avoid any appearance of bias'?

Is calling Trump a Fascist and comparing those that support him 'Nazis' avoiding any appearance of bias? Is the anti-Semitism spewing from Democrats avoiding any appearance of bias? Getting called every name under the sun for merely stating an opposing opinion avoiding any appearance of bias?

The Left has turned bias into an art form.

It is perfectly alright to have an allegiance to a religion some of whose members want to kill and destroy, but be a member of a peaceful Catholic organization dedicated to helping people and you are toast.

We are forced to accept every perversion imaginable and not question it. But be part of a traditional and long-accepted organization and you are branded for life.

Thank you, Senator Mazie Hirono, for saving us from the Knights of Columbus.

Logic and rationality prevail again.

I grew up in a small town in Ohio ......Fast Food was a treat, not a food . We drank Kool-Aid and iced tea made from water came from our kitchen faucet. We ate bologna, tuna, PB&J, or grilled cheese sandwiches, hot , but mostly home-made meals usually consisting of meat/gravy, potatoes, a vegetable, bread & butter and homemade dessert.

We took our lunches to school in a brown paper bag or a lunch box. The mayonnaise on our sandwich never went bad being left on a shelf half the day.
We grew up during a time when we would gather glass bottles to walk to the store and use the to penny candy. (A candy bar seven cents & one piece of wrapped candy was only a penny, and we even got a tiny brown paper bag to carry the candy home.) You could get a lot of candy for just 25 cents.

We mowed lawns, shoveled sidewalks, helped neighbors with chores, worked on the family car with our Dads. We went outside a lot to swing, games, ride bikes, run races with siblings and friends, and played hide and seek, jump rope, hopscotch, Red Rover, Kick ball, Red Light, May I, wiffle ball, dodge ball and even taught ourselves how to roller skate and skateboard on our quiet street. We drank water straight from the hose ( for a bottle of water was unheard of).

We ate hot or cold cereal or Pop Tarts at the breakfast table before going to school. I particularly liked grits and oven-made buttered toast! As a family, often with a Huge bowl of "Buttered Popcorn", we'd watch Lassie, The Ed Sullivan Show, Gunsmoke, Gilligan's Island, Tarzan, Wonderful World of Disney, Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom ... (On TV, no cable and it went off the air at midnight). We went to Grandma & Grandpa's every Sunday. After school, we came home, changed into clothes and did homework and chores. Sometimes we would watch TV (Flintstones, Zoom, Bewitched, Mr Ed - in B&W !) before "supper", otherwise we'd outside.

On Saturdays everyone in the neighborhood was out in their yards for the day. (No one stayed in unless they were sick, or there was a blizzard!)
WE cleaned our own bedrooms, brought our dirty clothes down to be washed (if you didn't, you had to wear them dirty). And we put our own clean laundry away.

In school we said the Pledge of Allegiance to start the day. If we were bad in school, we got in trouble there, and when we got home we got in trouble again because our parents already knew. Nothing was worse than having Dad say he was disappointed in you!

We would ride our bikes for hours and talk until the lightning bugs came out, and then we’d make lanterns with the lightning bugs in peanut butter jars. In the Fall, we’d rake huge piles of leaves and jump in them and built humongous forts in the Winter.

We had to stay close enough to home to hear Mom or Dad calling us home for supper. No cell phones!!! We took turns using the school's phone to call for rides after the dance or basketball game.

We ALL ate together around the dinner table and talked to each other about our day. Whatever meal our mothers made, we ate. There were no choices offered and no one left the table without being excused.

We watched what we said around our elders because we knew If we disrespected any grown-up we would get our behinds spanked; it wasn't , it was discipline! We were taught to hold doors, carry groceries, and boys always took off their hat when entering a building!

We didn't hear curse words on the radio, in songs, or on TV, and if we cursed and got caught we had to bite a bar of soap . “Please, and Thank you” were part of our daily vocabulary!

My how the times have changed, but thoughts of the ‘good old days’ still make us smile!!!
