Now that Trump has been removed from my psyche..I can change my thought to different things.
During the Trump administration, I was horrified at how TRUMP and his supporters handled dissent. How dissent , itself, created enemies, lies, punishments, and labels.
My view of FoxNews, baiting it and condoning it, was offensive for any "so called" news outlet. I couldn't understand how some couldn't see it happening.
Today, I have a better understanding of how that could happen... I find the Progressive end of the Democrat party to have the same approach. "Dissenters not Welcome".
I find the so called Liberal media, to not give, the proper consideration for those who disagree with Progressives
I know most of you can't see it...But as Trump has destroyed the Republican Party.. As will, on their current course, Progressives, destroy the Democrat party.
I will followup with other issues..that express this.

Schools, Texas, and Cuomo

We have an innate ability to blame.....as oppose to dealing with the cause.
There is no time at which we can declare a return to normalcy.. Return to normalcy has always been a factor of CONTOLLING the virus.. Not solving the virus.
Our government today is at a point where we are controlling the virus.. that doesn't mean we can stop doing what we are now doing... but we can begin to open with those thing that have the LEAST effect of spreading the virus..and the greatest effect on a return to n normalcy.. Opening schools back to a degree of normalcy does that..It's sets us up for a return to normalcy
It is entirely improbable that the opening of schools can offset the current mitigation of the virus..
In Texas, the adverse effect of the cold..doesn't negate the system..It negates the lack of preparedness and foresight.. In which they will incur a $ to government and indirectly a $ to consumers.
Texas, in their system, provide the least $ to consumers. Choices of energy that provide the least $ .. and the ability to switch type of energies in that regard.. and that became the singular factor for the lack of preparedness, and the lack of backup and reserves.. .. this is not a failure of production. It's a failure of policy..Similarly, in other things, our lack of preparedness the federal government is a failure of policy in lieu of the $ . The entire pandemic is a failure of preparedness.. that is a failure of policy
Cuomo is the most telling example, of what we do.. in not dealing with the cause, not dealing with the time, not dealing with the preparedness...
If one can remember the time when medical care was rationed. when decisions about that HAD to be made.. It was apparent that people who had little chance to survive were sacrificed for people who has the better chance.. This is NOT a decision anybody wanted to make... but it was apparent to be the lesser of two evils. Cuomo was making life or death decisions, it wasn't his place to do so, but was his duty..
The dam was overflowing and was going to burst..Cuomo released some of the water to hold the dam together.. Our healthcare system was at that point..
Now when the circumstances no longer exist .. hindsight has to blame someone. Someone who didn't make the 'right' decision.. but had to make the ONLY decision.
Cuomo could not be transparent while it was happening.. Not if it was your parents or grandparent that we being sent back to die. For Cuomo it wasn't the choice he wanted to make... it was a choice he HAD to make, given the time and circumstances.
How easily we forget....how easily we choose to blame.. How easily we ignore the CAUSE... How we let those that caused the circumstance to go free, and those that were stuck with the no-win circumstance to be blamed.
Shame on Democrats that don't understand this.

I just heard a Republican State Party leader say this about censuring and primary Republican that voted for impeachment..
"We don't send them to Congress to do the right thing and vote their conscience". We send them to represent Us
For some of you that will sound silly.. for others it will seem meaningless.
For the moment I would ask you forget about Republicans and Trump and see the big picture..
The corruption of Congress, the corruption of America, the corruption of Democracy.
Without conscience there is no trust. Without trust there is no right or wrong. Without right or wrong..there can be no Democracy.

I smiled today after the inauguration ceremonies.. I smiled because I realized the value of what I didn't have to think.. The worms in my stomach took the day off. The plaque on my heart disappeared.. The shadow on my brain, saw the light.
During today's Inauguration Day.. something wasn't missing.. something was found.
I never realized what had happened to me...how tiring was 2 be happening.. and how joyfully, even for one day, stopped happening.
Yes.. We will overcome..And OUR victory doesn't come with the punishment.. It comes when that MAN can be FORGOTTEN.

What Trump is going lose in the next 0 days is going be phenomenal..
The 2 million he gets for pardoning people is going be a drop in the bucket. Compared what he's going lose.

Racism has always been a tricky question 2 try and answer..
There's the overall underlying condition that is based on human nature and tribalism.
but that is pretty non-specific. It can NEVER be fully remedied.
the baser instinct of racism is a human condition that needs 2 be logically overcome or given into. Those that give into it , can be separated into two groups..Those that search for reasons to continually to feel that way and those that don't need reasons. Although racism is defined as promoting one's superiority......It's underlying motivation is fear
In America racism has been defined as White against people of color. Specifically Black.
Prior to 1967 racism in America was easy to define, after that it got complicated. Prior to 1967 people who needed reasons to be racists, had few to find..FEAR was a very limited factor..People of color were not to be feared. but helped. Prior to 1967 racism didn't need a reason or reasoning
What should be noted is that for most people... it's not a cognitive decision. neither the fear nor the reasons
In 1967, Lyndon Johnson, initiated AFFIRMATIVE ACTION. For many that set the fear stage...It was always okay to give to Blacks what they were entitled..no fear in that.. but for the government to mandate Affirmative Action.. was not a giving but a taking.
For Thirty years that struggle wore on.. It seemed to be dissipated with restrictions and rulings to suppress affirmative action as a matter of law. Discrimination still works as matter of law, but NOT affirmative action.
Even though Affirmative Action did not become unjust...It set the stage for the fear of reverse discrimination. For those RACISTS who needed NO need for reasons found a new avenue to take them where they wanted to go. They had a reason to justify to others their FEAR.
Over the course of the last twenty years.. The Right baited Americans, with the fear and lies about Affirmative action not with logic, but with it's the results.. Blacks were invading our lives, on TV, Movies, the Arts, economic power, in relationships, in politics, and societal norms. and the fear Hispanics would soon follow.. And the final Straw.. Barrack Obama. We were no longer giving to them, they were taking .
We didn't have 2 be told what would happen, we were watching happen. For those searching for reasons 2 be racists they finally found one on the side of "The Right".
Then IT became complicated because was so much harder 2 tell difference between racists.
But Illogical and false reasons took hold, to revive baser instincts of racism.

There may be a different way of looking at it.
This has never been a battle for Democracy.....
I am a firm believer that people who hate........ .hate themselves.... Hate their own failure.
I have refused to call Trump or trump supporters Republicans, even ones who Choose to identify themselves as such. They have always just been a suppress minority..Who can NOT deal with the appearance of the successes of other suppressed minorities..especially the ones of color.
In truth, everyone of the trump supporters feels marginalized..but the true target of that marginalization has been the Republican Party. They were marginalized , in this Democracy, by their own Party... who gave them "lip service" but no results.
In truth RINO's .. Are not liberals who disguise themselves as Republicans.. but Republicans who have failed to achieve what some people believe the Republican Party SHOULD BE..and SHOULD be able to achieve.
The success these people desired and achieved was a takeover of the Republican Party..They are Represented by Trump.
What they don't understand was their path to achieve it was never a policy one but a practical political one.. Politics made it so their so-called RINO's couldn't fight back..
Trump supporters believed they succeeded in the Republican party takeover.They believed they became the MAJORITY voice.
but it was always a fake impression....A politically convenient one for the true Republicans..the Capital attack proved that.
That battle for the Republican party comes to ahead.. when the fate of the Republican party and not political success is in the balance.
Trump never could have succeeded without this dynamic of the Republican Party.. To create a coalition of different, dissatisfied, marginalized, minority Republicans,
It has always been doomed to failure .. when true American Republicans decide to take back their name.
