Moonlight

In the still of night
He hears the coo
of his wanderlust
in the moonlight's woo

A vision of a moonlit flower
Which blossoms in the sky
For those who ask why not
instead of asking....why?

The scent of her sweet perfume
As she wears the black night dress
Her cascades of hair, her silky touch
Provides him a warm caress

A simple remembrance to dream
that love need not be strewn
When the magic stars dance in step
All is well, above the moon

Mind Dance

My mind dances, a magic tune
As it wanders, over hills of “could be”
A rhythm of moonbeams, on a silver spoon
That echoes across an open sea

! dream, a chosen reality
Of that which may, or may not be
Like Unicorns dancing in a valley
Or Mermaids in a deep blue sea

She is a cloud, a billowing sail
The catches the breathe see my plight
Too far away to grasp, and then dissipates
when “reigned” upon and held too tight

She is so near.....

In the sound of tumbling waves, a songbird's melody
In a sea of morning air, or the breeze upon my face
In a held breathe, The moment that sustains me
In corners of the mind, my heart's hiding place.

The music has begun
But the dance will not start
Void of the “golden band”
Melodies from the strings of my heart

Love is not a raging fire
That's required be fueled
Love is not a burning desire
A feelings that can be fooled

Love is not the measure
of what's gotten in return
Love is not a buried treasure
It's map can not be learned

Love is but a private feat
That nobody can own
It hears the sounds of heartbeats
That says... you're not alone.

On the sandy beaches of my solitude
Skies of gray, and stillness of air
I search the shore, in pensive mood
discover my mermaid there.

She came on worded wings
That lit upon my soul.
Revealing things that could be
Things that make whole.

She took a distant shore
A place of "should have been"
Her magic kept mesmerized
With dreams she'd come again

She departed without a fond adieu
Her words painted on my mind
I wonder if she ever knew
She left her art behind.

Now, I walk along the water's edge
All her footprints washed away
Seeking her magic's knowledge
Finding her clues along the way.

A sea of glimmering silver and turquoise
Blonde seaweed that curls and flows
Seashells that make an echoing noise
of the precious moment, magic knows.

My thoughts, my prayers, my devotion
Someday a return the magic land
Til then, I'll hold her hand across an ocean
Til then, I'll feel her heartbeat in the sand.

The Last Train

All by myself, I walk 2 the train
I must go, I can't remain
Each step and turn 2 look back
From where I came, and on which track

Now I must go, on my own
Fearful, I must go alone
Must not not forget what got me here
Thinking, what awaits me there

I contemplate the meaning of life
Leaving behind the toil and strife
My judgments of others.. that now judge me
Was my life.. what it was meant to be?

And yet there are joys to realize
The smile that happens in one's eyes
The tingle sensation, that says so much
From a feeling of just being “touched”.

Then look to see... if someone's near
Before all the tracks disappear
Is someone there to say goodbye?
To say I really lived, Before I die?

LUNAR LOVE

She thought I hung the moon and all
Her eyes... told me so
It made me feel ten feet tall
That's all love needs to know

But expectations paid the devil's due
when what was paid, was not enough
The toll on love was the revenue
that counted the unimportant stuff

The moon shined over a sleeping mountain
Until changing eyes, said more than lips
And expectations she began to count on
Created a lunar eclipse

Tin Love

I never knew love had a gender
Til women made it so.
That Love isn't just the sender
It's about what women know

That men need have a heart
instead of a love token
Then women wouldn't the toll
The cycle could be broken

The Tin Man, he has spoken
"I have no heart in here
The cycle needn't be broken
Just pedal faster dear!"

So find yourself a clock
and time not to care
But listen to the tick tock
A tin man's heart you'll hear

Getting Old

Time goes by faster so it seems
Sleeping only in past dreams
Tomorrow is just another day
Thinking of yesterday the chosen way

Twist off caps are getting tighter
Nothing seems to get lighter
Just reaching for something on the top shelf
Can only result in hurting yourself

People you care about, don't care enough
The phone only rings, for soliciting stuff
Finding love is what you want to do
But you can't find yourself to give it to

Money isn't something to build upon
Just worry about when it's gone
As others judge your life's worth amount
They just look into your bank account

New electronics are hard to figure out
Much too much, to think about
Things were easier in the past
And those were even built to last

Heath isn't determined by your ills
But by the number of prescription pills
Sitting on the pot becomes a science
Discovering the meaning of incontinence

Protection granted by the size of your car
Finding yourself lost, the normal par
The middle of the road too hard to find
And other drivers aren't very kind

Remembering what happened on your wedding day
But forgetting what happened yesterday
Living in the rear view mirror, so you don't see
The crash up ahead, that's to be.

In the garden of her thoughts
Cultivated with special care
The glorious forget-me-nots
It's vision beyond compare

Grown from her reason
Tended with a 's glove
Her time and her season
The fertilizer of love

Through a window in her room
She sees an inglorious sight
A single wilted bloom
Forbearing doom and blight

The need to tend her garden
And return it, to it's story
To maintain the only vision
The perfection of Love's glory

With a few snips here
And fertilizer for a thought
With A few snips there
To protect her forget-me-not

Insensible to the season
Of unprotected ebb and flow
Overbearing becomes the reason
Flowers wilt, and never grow

Testing: Managing or Mismanaging?

At a Tyson meat processing plant. A breakout of the virus caused a temporary shutdown..
The need to reopen the plant, required testing of personal, before reopening..
Mike Pence.. send this was a priority and tests would be sent..

The tests were acquired and supervisors and managers were tested first..To be followed up with line personal to be tested.
When the test results for supervisor were received.. Tyson cancelled the testing for All line personal.. The plant opened with testing personal for a fever.. then a subsequent virus test. If the the employee did not have a fever they were permitted to work.

This plant employs 6000 worker.. Their were 146 cases of workers testing positive, and two had died.

Would seem on the face of it.. to be not that big a deal as compared to some other meat processing plants. Last Friday the plant reopened.

This plant is a microcosm of our country as it stands today..
The idea as to whether or not the Federal Government testing is managing or mismanaging this virus.

What is Tyson position about his virus?....is the same as the Federal Government..
What happened?

Well, first almost ALL of confirmed case at this plant were from line workers.
The testing of supervisor and manager revealed that at least 40% tested POSITIVE.

The testing of All worker would have revealed at least 40% would test positive.
Of course, testing is not a cure, Testing doesn't change a thing.. if you already know what the results are going to be.
What testing would have done was to close the plant down...all those who tested positive would not be available to work. This alone closes the plant. instead they choose to only reduce the workforce. ONLY by those who have fevers.

Tyson is now on a campaign to show..what's happening in Food processing plants is breaking the supply chain for food. So to have one believe.... it's Food or Virus.
Both the Federal Government and Tyson are saying.. is it can't be BOTH.

The virus is the given... the economy is not. That food processing is more valuable than mitigating a NOW uncontrollable virus.
Testing doesn't solve anything it complicates things.
Testing is not only non-productive.. it's in itself is a drain on the economy.
Testing is closing the barn door..when the horses have already gotten out.
