This country has never had a President like Trump...Now, i'm not saying this to pass judgment on the good or bad of it.. I want you to do it.
But first let's agree Trump.. is not like any President this country has had. If you believe he is ..tell me who president was.
I know it's obvious a Trump supporter would believe Trump is different .. but GOOD. Whereas a Democrat would believe Trump is different.. But BAD..
I'd like to ask. Trump supporters here... questions about it..
First question.. is there any Republican.. you could support for President in lieu of Trump? is there any Republican.. you believe could do.. what Trump does? is Trump your only choice for President?
If there was a conflict between the Constitution and Trump.. what would you support?
If there is a conflict between Congress and Trump.. what would you support.?
If there is a conflict between Trump and the Supreme Court... what would you support?
If Trump lies, manipulates, and blackmails for what you see as GOOD for the country.. Do you support it?
Is Trump....as President "above the Law"
Here's some interesting questions, brought up at the rally..
First do you believe Democrats want to destroy this country?
Do you believe Hillary Clinton should be "locked Up
Do you believe border security and illegal immigration... is the biggest problem this country has...
Do you believe Trump should be elected for a Third term?
Do you believe your primary motivation is fear and hate. or love and compassion?

I wrote a response to looklook.. about love.. and it allowed me to remember the things I wrote about it.. How I feel about...How the Pain of Love.. A loss denies love...A selfish justification for not giving it.. I did it, and I'm doing it.. So I know.. My poems are my wish.. it could be different.
LOVE ISLAND
The mermaid slips back to the sea
Now in hiding, from the sailor in me
But there she'll ponder how love goes
life is only what she knows
Lost upon the mermaid's island
The sailor seeks the safe highland
and there he'll ponder how love goes
life is only what he knows
Love, it may come and go
As in life, God has made it so
Each measure of joy, not meaning much
But simply defined through those you touch
For in seeking the highland, or the sea
It matters not, where love can be
If your life touches another heart
Then your love can leave..
But not depart

Different colors and flavors compare.
But they weren't ours eat

I showed them a woman

The Train

The train left the station some years ago.
it followed the tracks...but went real slow
the people aboard, directed the train
but at the station, some people remain
It seemed equality... wasn't very kind
to leave some people stranded behind.
the disenfranchisement between Now and Then
defined NO train would ever arrive again.
the ultimate destination, nobody knew
but the people on board believed it true.
although, they struggled each and every day.
to try make sure it was going the right way.
For some, in a hurry, it needed to go fast
Others couldn't abandon..those in the past
They thought about those left behind there
who couldn't get aboard......

got sand in my shoe
I can't seem to bend over

It's sad and laughable all at the time..
It's the Larry, Moe and Curly Joe show..
Trump's new reality TV show.. I imagine aliens looking at Us fromfar out in space.. and laughing their azz off...
Trump is Larry.. the one seemingly in charge
Trump's supporter are MOE...always ready to go along..
The rest of us are Curly Joe...slappijng ourselves in the face and getting all worked up.
We know who Larry and Moe are... but it's really hard to see the part one plays as Curly Joe..

Everyday just gets more unbelievable... and I say to myself.. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?
It's possible to say Black Lives Matter.. when Lives matter.. kind of redundant.

And what and who the f*ck is ...Duetsche Bank? And their 'special" banking section of elitist..."Wealth Management" ...that is restricted..to only certain wealthy people..
..I think of Game of Thrones and and the BanK of Bravos.. who the f*ck are they? and do they exist in our world?
Who runs our government?.. who runs the SENATE.. Who has the real control. Are they just playing a game of thrones
I see Mueller.. working through a never ending spider web. uncovering strand after strand.. working his way to the center, not being able to go back.. only to finally be eaten by the spider in the middle.
I see Trump as the pawn.. and wonder who is the King.
I begin to realize.. I do not know what is the fantasy and what is the reality..
Are we not the Goliath we believe ourselves be.... but a David.. a stone's turn away from our own destruction. Is it even POSSIBLE for US to survive?
It's all so unbelievable.. it's all so seemingly impossible.. that my base beliefs are being challenge as to whether they are just my FANTASY..and I am now confronted with the REALITY.
And how ...the only way I see...... to Make America Great Again is to..

I was born in 1950 and for the first tens years of my life English was what I need to learn..
There were no other languages.
From the Sixties to the Seventies.. living in Southern California...I saw the advantages to learning Spanish as a second language.....My logic about learning other languages was always about.... How learning it ...would benefit ME...Becoming Bi-lingual has all kinds of advantage in Southern California.. whether in be in just communication sociailly, job search, or running one's own business.. Spanish was the ticket..
In the mid to late seventies.. my attitude changed...learning a language.. should NOT be about social aspect.. but totally revolve around earning power, following the Big money and job availability.. and I thought.. what a great advantage.... if I could speak Japanese..
Those reasons has held for the rest of my life..
but in the mid to late nineties.. I thought maybe it was better if I learned Chinese..
In 2016 that changed again...following the BIG money...So I'm now thinking... if everything stays the same... I better learn RUSSIAN.

Predictions..

Two weeks ago I made a prediction that the shutdown could not go past this coming week..
Since Trump's election, until now.. I have voice my opinion AGAINST impeachment.
I have always felt that the challenges Trump confronted us with was not a choice but a necessity.... I felt this country needed a wake up call.. In regards to ideals, morals, commonality, equality and purpose..
A saw a light at the end of the tunnel..and predicted we would get to it eventually.
But, now, it seems the absurdity of it all.. Is just too much for me to handle.
I figured we could take two more years of it.. and come out better at the end. That in 2020 trump would be gone....(I still KNOW that)....but this country may not be able to survive two more weeks of it.
I have lived through the Communist menace the Bay of Pigs, the Cuban Missile crisis, The Vietnam war, Race riots, Richard Nixon...I have seen recessions, inflation, bank and mortgage fraud.., Too BIG to Fail...... I have seen, Big money, Corporate takeover of Mom and Pop....I have seen the SWAMP... I have seen "bad" entitlements, abuses and moral hazards.. I have seen The fight against the abuse of power, only FOR the abuse of POWER...I have seen the Disasters and the erosion I have seen Partisanship and Lies before.
I seen seen US make it, through it.... and with that logic, believe nothing was too great for US not to overcome. How could it not be.. when I have already experienced all those challenges. Only to dismiss them later..My certainty of that, has made me complacent, and fearless..
But this is different now..You fear Trump will get Us into a WAR.. That Trump has got his finger on the button..... YOU ARE fools...His has already gotten US into a war .. he's already pushed the buttons..a different kind of nuclear age destruction..
The shutdown has opened my eyes....trying to seeing our way to ending it.. That almost EVERYBODY agrees with.. That has brought out the fear where I was once fearless....and complacency is no longer a choice.
I use to laugh at people who believe the Lies...Knowing they HAVE to come around.
They have NO other choice. I can't laugh anymore...
I believed we all have a right to our opinions....It's the basis of moderation, it's the basis of compromise. when you believe everybody have a right to their opinion, and believe in equality.. then you MUST respect their opinion, and FIND it's basis in truth, and deal with it.
Until you can no longer dismiss the absurdity.. the absurdity become the issue..The absurdity of Lies, the absurdity of morals and ideals, the absurdity of humanity and compassion.. these are the challenges....That challenges My own existence. the challenges everything I have lived through as becoming meaningless.
I can't accept that....If this shutdown is not ended this week.. the HELL with them..
Their opinions no longer matter, Their citizenship no longer matters..Their lives no longer matter.... No compromise , No surrender.. and it ONLY begins with the IMPEACHMENT of TRUMP.. Then let the war begin.. and believe it or not, my certainly and fearlessness, is not in our victory...but in the sacrifice of possible defeat..SO BE IT.
It all goes on the line.
