Hate and the uneducated

(a response to leaf's blog I wanted to save)
Hate is not about education, uneducated doesn't mean squat didley.
That cause is the problem, not the effect. It effects more conservative, but liberals aren't immune.
Instead of education, I'd call it focus and fixation.
the kind of ideology doesn't really matter.
education is not just about subject knowledge....It has meant, to me, the ability to learn. When we use to learn, but we HAD to learn HOW to learn.
The fact is our society, has created a monumental amount of knowledge, all at our immediate disposal. we just learn it, and not about it. WE don't search, discover, and reason anymore. WE make up our mind, and our mind is all made up as not to fact, but choice
Learning is a process that never ends, You cannot make up mind, and stick to it.......You stop learning.

There are two kind people you speak of.
Ones who are supposedly uneducated, not because of knowledge but the inability to learn. FOCUS
Others who have the ability to learn, but choose to turn that off because off the subject matter. FIXATION
I can read people here and see where they fall. You find it amazing how I view the people here. maise for example is not uneducated but fixated, but there are degree to that. Some people who are fixated, do so to support themselves, but still do it, with the idea they can learn. They do it to put there own mind in order.
Others who simply repeat themselves over and over, the same way over and over are overly focused and do not have the ability to learn.
As far as hate goes it not some evil, some deep character flaw.
Hate is justification
It's justifies those who are overly focused and cannot learn, and it justifies the fixated who don't want to learn, or have anyone else learn either.
Liberals aren't immune.

Early indications of Trumps election.

Read two article today.. both were very disturbing.
Trumps election has certainly brought out the cockroaches.
The first article was about White Nationalist Supremists Trump election has embolden them. Gave them, in their own mind credibility,
It's an indication of what this election has done.
Personally I do not fear it. in the open, they will be squashed.
The second article was way more disturbing. A different kind of cockroach.
It's pertinent to us here on SFF.
It's about tying the fixing of Obamacare with the fixing of Medicare.
First it blames Obamacare for the problems with Medicare. It's an outrageous accusation, because anybody with any sense would realize Obamacare was thought up to protect, and fix medicare and medicaid. Obamacare was not very good, but it did not hurt medicare and medicaid.. it just didn't solve the problem.
The cockroaches are out to destroy the essence and value of Medicare and Social security, as a government run social program. The ONLY government run program that defines as a nation.
The article is not about Trump but about Paul Ryan, a new embolden cockroach.

Were the elections rigged?

So we got a new controversy. were polling machine hacked? There seems to be a discrepancy in every single precinct of Wisc, Mich, and Pa in which poling machine were used.
Trump polled seven percent higher in all of these precincts, than in precincts that did not have hackable machines.
that's the first indicator
The second indicator was the results for each of those precincts changed dramatically once Trump won Florida. It was, as if the machine did not start working, until Trump had a chance.
Yeah, we know, it's all a big lie??????????
The only way this election could have been rigged is if Trump lost.

Obamacare unsimplified

Obamacare is not very good. there's a lot of reason for this. Most people, like Dandee, are mistaken about what makes it bad.
First and foremost the program is not Socialist. It's bastardized government interference in Capitalism, and Capitalism's interference in government.
Obama said you can keep your doctor and your insurance. What Obama didn't say is your doctor and your insurance would keep you.
Probably the greatest impact of Obamacare is the standardization of policy's. I find this ironic because of what Trumps said and what your going to get from Trump. Trump wants to keep pre-existing conditions and up to 26 years old family members.
He wants to keep what in essence has created the biggest problem with Obamacare.
The impact of standardization has cause insurance companies to increase premiums and deductibles. And as you may wish to lower cost. you forget what insurance is all about. To eliminate standardization would mean you could go out and buy a cheaper policy that doesn't cover pre-existing conditions, or 26 years old. or gender related stuff if that not your gender. You could control what you pay for.
PEOPLE LIKE THAT IDEA.
BUT PEOPLE ARE REALLY STUPID.
So Trump wants to keep pre-existing conditions and 26 year old..and give people choices... CAN"T HAPPEN
The reason we did not have policies that allowed pre-existing conditions is that only people with pre-existing condition would have purchased it , and the premium would have been unaffordable to anybody. It would be like buying homeowners coverage after your house burns down.
So Trump not going to scrap it, nor will he give YOU what you want.. he can't do it.

The "big" Tax Reform.

Where's the truth in this country? As people hide their advantages and look to take advantages.
First let me say there's is no such thing as tax reform. It's not going to happen.
What there is....... is just lowering or increasing tax rates.
The truth is our system has protected itself from. increases or decrease of tax rates and for the majority, it means nothing, It's all rhetoric to incite. when actually doing it has virtually no effect.
Tax reform is not about tax rates, it about two things. The fairness as to WHAT is taxable, and the distribution of taxes dollar, to those who Do Not Pay. People need to deal with this, understand this. This is what it's all about.
All one has to do to find out what rich people have hidden under the rug. lower the current tax rate, significantly for the wealthy, and corporation, say by 50%
Then take away, capital gains, dividends, interest, and reinvestment. Tax all the money that is earned regardless of how it is earned, or how it is spent. It this idea far fetched, Is it Un-American? If we are going to tax, shouldn't we tax all the money that is earned. The fact is we have the higher tax rates than most other countries, because we have reduced what is the taxable dollar. WE have been forced to take more from that which is taxable.
Let's do it, let's talk about it. See what happens then...See who supports that...See if something like that can pass.
Lower the tax rate, and takeaway the loopholes
We have become a country of loopholes, of people taking advantage, and hiding advantages.
