When I turned thirty, politically, I had no party. I couldn't make sense of it.
Up to that point, I thought the political battle was about preserving individual freedom versus the common good. I thought conservatives believed individual freedom, outweigh the common good and liberals believed for common good outweighed individual freedom..
I wish now it was true, I could then find my own balance and support to balance it out
I remember the first thing that threw my political thoughts into a tizzy. I could never figure out how the ACLU was a liberal organization. I could not understand how individual freedom was about conservative choice and not about individual freedom.
I then could not figure out why Liberals believed that common good was just about giving government money away.
Between the two, I lost my way, as they lost theirs.

An argument, I cannot win
Others may know the answer
And have no argument within
So, I argue with myself
If others could be wrong
and should I not argue
Just let them go along
Don't ask me for an answer
I can't come up with any
The answers are too few
The questions are too many

A Day of Retribution

I don't read blogs all the time, nor everyday. Just occasionally. Today was a real eye opener. I will pass by things that I don't find interesting, but today I pretty much read them all.
I imagine there have been other days like today...I just never knew it. Caught only glimpses of what seems to be the predominate topic.
That simply is...how bad things are here, how bad people are here.
Trying to bring people down with verbal attacks, and a sense of verbal retribution for past slights, and disagreements.
There have always been things of this nature on this site. We have discussed the cliques, and those others outside the lines. But it always been us against them.
The "us" has flown the coup, This purpose of this site is just two cliques away from being unnecessary, and those of us who don't choose sides passe.
Neither side can win, they can only destroy this site.
Hawk (Alfie) said in a blog today.. he taking a break and going to read a book instead. I don't even like to read....but I'm going to read a book too.

Sexual Preference of Men and Women

Someone today said to me.."you don't know shit about women" ....I thought that was a little harsh, since I've spent almost my entire life thinking about them. I would have thought, I'd had learned something!
So it got me thinking....that in itself can be troublesome.
Since, I spend most of time thinking about women and sex, of course for most men put the two go together, I needed to get my thoughts together. And what I have learned about the sexual preferences of men and women.
I'll start off with women, they're a little more complicated.
Women either like or don't like sex and/or men. Women will tell you it's more complicated than that......but when comes down to it...I DON'T THINK SO!
Women Sexual Preference......
There are women who like sex and don't like men.....well as sex goes that only leaves women.
There are women who don't like sex and like men.....this is where it may get a little complicated. these women can justify sex and even convince themselves they like it.
There are women who don't like sex and don't like men, well they're not getting any from anybody.
There are women who like sex and like men.... that seems kind of a rare thing to me, or is that raw! Anyway these women can be broken into two categories....
A. Those who like men better than they like sex
B. Those who like sex better than they like men.
Men's Sexual Preference....
Men aren't very complicated and they don't claim to be. The one thing I'm almost positive of.. heterosexual men like sex and they like women.
But research has uncovered that almost all men like sex better than they like women! Explains a lot if you think about it!
Where men get screwed up is they don't want a women who likes sex better than they like men...Well they want a women who likes that, but they don't really want a women "like that". I have found very few women in my research who like that or are "like that"
So it seems to me that most women I know don't like sex.......
Someone women have told me... they don't like sex without intimacy. Come on ladies who are you kidding? "Intimacy Doesn't Make Sex...Intimacy Makes Sex Better":
Some guys have told me.. Maybe they don't like it, because you don't do it right? I tell them..."I do it right every time" "If women liked it, they would find away to do it right too"
And finally they say it comes down to this....maybe women like sex, like men and just don't like you... OMG, they may be on to something there, that never crossed my mind!
Does anyone have any toilet paper?

I wrote this on someone else's political blog...thought it was worth sharing................It amazes me.. how people hear only what they want to hear. They never acknowledge what is said, before criticizing what it means........Unless they agree with the person, then they acknowledge, but and never bother to understand what it means. In either case, only understanding what they choose to understand. Only interpreting, that which justifies their own belief. Politically it goes both ways, and just because it does, it doesn't make it right.
The conservative position has much stronger believers and more to gain by misinterpreting. The Liberals do the same thing, although some have strong beliefs, overall they do not. The Liberals and so-called liberals do not acknowledge the truth in the Conservative position. They also hear what they want to hear.
But let me say this...Liberals have good reason. Conservative are mistaken to believe that Liberals want to increase taxes, increase social programs, not balance the budget, open the floodgates to illegals, and increase government intervention. It's just not true, What is true is that strong believing Conservatives, would and have used any acknowledgment to justify their position and not compromise, and thus, turn the Liberal acknowledgment around against them. It's simple, if one understand that only the Conservatives in this country have an agenda, Liberals and so-called liberals do not have an overall agenda. Armed with an agenda, the Conservatives make the rest of us either accept or reject it...Liberal and so-called liberals, for the most part, reject the agenda, and refuse to acknowledge any truth.

Reading poetry today has inspired me....
I wish I could find the time
When time is all I got
To do with it what I want
To discover what time is not
To slow it down, if I can
When it seem to go so fast
To count the grains of sand
To try and make time last
Thinking about what to do
Seems to slow the time down
Doing something about it
Seems to speed it up, I found
Happiness, it spends you
and takes your time away
Misery, it saves you
and store your time away
So what is it to be
to save or to spend
To surmise is not reality
When time will not bend
The calendar on my wall
The hourglass in my hand
It's not a choice at all
If I count the grains of sand
So, I need to find the time
because it will not wait
Happiness can not be found
If time becomes my fate

Today, I spent time reading some old blog poems of Cariad. She obviously gone now, but not forgotten..
I miss her and the time we spent together writing poetry.
It was definitely a happier time for me here.
Cariad and Wishes inspired me.
Instead of anger and misunderstanding there was hope, dreams, and communication. There was moonlight, magic, and mermaids
It's funny how we compartmentalize our lives making each compartment a separate life of its own. It seems, I'll have to live with that and that the road once taken cannot be re-traveled.
Some would say we have lived in a dream world. But to say that....they simply know nothing but their reality nightmare. For they know not what the heart desires, and know not what could be.

I guess the liberal media takes the liberal side and busts Donald Trump every chance it gets....When it's conservative against conservative are they suppose to do, fabricate everything?
He deserves to be busted, and he ain't getting it from the liberal media.
My problem with the media is allowing Trump to be both lambasted and defended and very little is spoken of John McCain.
Trump sees himself as a hero, and so should we?
McCain does not see himself as a hero, and so should we?
Trump sets the parameters of good and evil with veterans and illegal. Feeds the frenzy of the few.
McCain calls them "crazies" and no one defends him. No one speaks that in fact these people are "crazies"
I do not wish to argue the political points, but simply state... that anyone who believes a single issue defines who and what we are, that above all else is the only issue.....is a crazy.
A pea brain, full of hate is a crazy
I believe Donald "The Trump" Card is not a crazy....he just knows how to play his cards with them. I do not wish to categorically call him a manipulator...but if it walks like a "Donald" Duck and talks like a "Donald" Duck....it must be a Duck.
