Into the uncharted Walks a man Pondering a last test The master plan
The value of life The meaning of it all The joy and the strife The rise and the fall
The infinite wisdom... The time and dimension The definite, the random The lost, the retention
The up and down Truth by plurality Relativity, relatives Meaning of Duality
The vastness of time The value of why The mountains to climb The blink of an eye
Conclusion of time and space Becomes the here and now There is no other, moment or place That's a matter of fact, somehow.

The What and How of it all

It appears, that as we age, WHAT we think changes. We never bother to figure out if HOW we think has changed. It rarely does.
We learn to value the unimportance of the haves and have nots But rarely appreciate that a leopard can't change it's spots
It's not about others, for we hopefully learn they are not within our realm of change. We must accept that a leopard cannot change it's spots, and live with it. But, looking inside of ourselves, Can we change our own spots?
Comes the day, the sky is gray Does the sun shine, somewhere inside? or does the pain seem to come again If the rain has no place to hide
It's not about WHAT we think, it about HOW we think.
There will always be rain Sometimes close or sometimes distant There is no umbrella for what it is but there's shelter in what it isn't
We tend not to question what something is. The mind believes in it's own truth. It's something that can't be changed, and has nothing to do with the right or wrong of it. It has to do with the "spots" of who we are.
WHAT we think, we think we are our lives, our truth, more definite But HOW we think is more telling by far Our lives, our truth, more infinite
I seems to get into a lot of disussions, that appear to be arguments, not because I disagree about WHAT someone thinks, but disagree with HOW someone thinks. This blog is my reminder of the folly of it all. For who's to say, that if there is no right or wrong of it, that I am right. For it is only my spots...I can change

Limits

Today I began wondering about limits. How our limited view of everything effects our view of the universe, our world, our environment and more importantly ourselves.
From the moment of conception Bombardment by perception From the limits of the womb To the limits of the tomb
The belief that our universe has limits, or if you prefer Gods has limits, is only a result of minds inability to process the limitless.
The perception of the beginning and a end Somewhere there's a place called heaven A "Big Bang", or a universe that expanding The requirement to empower our understanding
It is by using our imagination that we are permitted to discover the possibilities that exist. It is our imagination that separates us from the rest of the living, that allows faith, love, hope, and discovery. In each of us, it is the strength of the perception of our limits, that is inversely proportional to the strength of our imagination.
The more we have our feet on the ground The less we understand the fifth dimension The answer, with imagination can be found of that, beyond our comprehension.
The idea of the limitless does not need agreement. For there is truth to our own limits. It's simply an observance of why we are, and who we are. For some of you, the truth can be found by simply the acceptance.
Faith, love, and hope you will deny If the limits of your mind asks why? The imagination is the better thought If you can answer the question...Why not?
Have a great imaginative day!

Repost...I forgot this one. It was written after my 40th high school reunion. Just wanted to save it on this blog.
We are but dawning stars Shining brightly in the morn Fading behind the sun and clouds Awaiting a new day reborn
The morning star shines brightly before the days awaken Soon weathered by sun, hidden by clouds A hopeful light forsaken
A fight to keep itself burning not knowing how to win To shine brightly as it once did Before the days begin
I see the faces weathered Oh!, how could it be? When seeing eyes that shine so brightly Is my reality
The mind's eye tells the truth Seeing yourself as you were Don't be fooled by sun and clouds That YOU were never there
The morning star's, the constant Everything changes, yet stays the same No up and downs can eliminate YOU In life's chute's and ladder's game
Behind the eyes, I see life's wonder A constant shining star No dimming light will ever change You were, who you are

I posted a response, that I would like to share and get your comments.
"XXXX....sometimes you don't know what I really think. just the negative response to you.
So here it is.....
I believe that no matter what happens in Washington, this country is in for some more pain.
I believe that the status quo doesn't work.
I believe, that doing something is better than doing nothing.
I believe, that the government's half azz efforts, have created the situation we're in. Amongst other half-azz efforts. Making laws that give entitlements to some of the needy, without being able to exclude those who would take advantage of it.
I believe, that our government needs to step up to plate, or go back to the batters box. Either way this country will be better off. Get out of it, or do it right.
I believe, that we use a bandaid approach to a gaping wound. When we should suture it up, or let it bleed out.
I believe that the choices are to get out it and have massive bleeding, and a short term recovery. Or to get more into it, fix it, and have a long term recovery.
I prefer either choice, to a slow term death.
I believe this country's greatest attribute is to overcome the mistakes it has made in the past. I do not fear the mistakes of the future. For it is in the mistakes we make, that the proper solutions to our problems can be discovered. For those of you who would fight against us making mistakes, you need to accept it indicating our lack of freedom and our lack of progress.
The way the future will view this country, will be as a time of the greatest freedom in human history. Not because of the successes granted by our freedom to succeed.... but to be allowed, by our freedom, to fall flat on our faces and get up again!

Faith

Again I'd like to thank someone(obviously can't mention who, but you know who you are), for inspiring me to gather my own thoughts. I believe our best teachers are not those that we assimilate their knowledge, but allow us to question our own knowledge, and interpet our own ideas. I wrote another blog response that I wish to share with everyone, and save for myself.
"Faith is personal, It is defined by the diversity in faith, not in the commonality. Those that need to have agreement in their faith, have no faith at all. It is not faith that defines that the sky is blue or the grass is green. It is our commonality of that belief that make it true. Faith by definition, is a belief in that which is unproven. If agreement in ones belief is needed to define the truth of ones faith, then that truth is not faith. The strength of ones faith is not the persuasion of others, it is in your own peace of mind. The truth of ones faith, is in how it makes you feel, not how it makes others feel.
One of the greatest conflicts in the bible is spreading the word of God. For in religion this has been interpreted to mean converts. Over the course of humanity, this idea has evolved to mean religion's self preservation. I do not believe this is what the bible intended. Spreading the word of God is not about converts...it's about exposing those unexposed to God's wisdom and love.

Happy New Year to all.. 2010 Time keeps pourin on No matter the cry of "uncle" or "when"
Just wondering where wishes are sent? and where the lovely mermaid went? and how the snow falls from the sky? and what holds back a tear in the eye?
Does a witch really ride a broom? Do four walls make a room? Can three blind mice really have fun? See how they play, See how they run?
Can two hands tell time? Can one heart make it rhyme? Can love.. be on the mend? If it has no beginning and no end
Has today finally become tommorrow? No more time left to borrow Is it pay back time? Again, I can't believe it's 2010!

Moment of Truth

A multitude of years gone by Moments turned into years Gone in a flash of an eye Condensed in a drop of tears
I make my own history that birth to death abides. Each precious moment, a mystery, on life's train, that it rides.
Oh! rejoice in moments, that never come again. They weave life's fabric, one of a kind. Life is unconditional, a joyous refrain. Other judgements, mirages of my mind.
Each breathe I take, sees the light. The sun shines, just for me. No matter rain, or dark of night. Each moment, valued preciously
