I'm not here as much as I used to be but it doesn't mean I have forgotten the People here.
I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Quanza or whatever Holiday you Celebrate this time of year.
May it be filled with Joy, Laughter but above all, Love.
May 2023 find you where you want to be and with the one(s) you want to be there with.
Much Love Y'all

I have been offline for a while now, mainly due to personal matters.
I have missed being here and chatting with the Friends I have made over the past 4 years.
Another reason I haven't been here at SFF is because it seems there aren't as many chatters as there used to be, not sure why that is that it's not the same these days.
Perhaps things will improve here in 2022,, we'll see.
I'll try to pop in a more often but no promises.
Take care Y'all

Several months ago the Boss and I started building a new office building for one of our sales people.
It took a while as we were not able to work on it constantly, had product to produce.
The Boss came up with the interior design and scheme. Turned out Great.
Comments are welcomed.

It's been a while since I last posted anything about the deer stand, I'm happy to report that it is finally finished and ready for the woods.
No,,, we won't be producing these as the labor and material costs would make them too expensive.

I am no longer a subscribing member therefore I am unable to send or read messages nor am I able to read profiles.
I originally came to this site to chat and find friends and perhaps find someone to date on occasion. I did make some good Friends and even met a few in person, as for the dating part,,, nothing
As of late, chat has all but died out. Seems there is never anyone in the chat room so, I let my membership expire.
f you wish to contact me, you can send a letter to my email address : rebelviking at the "y" dot communications.
Perhaps,, IF things pick back up in chat, I may renew my membership,,, we'll see.
Take Care, Stay Safe,,,, Miss Y'all.

Yes,, I am plagued with this disorder. I sometimes say or write things before I fully think them through, thus I end up not only with "egg on my face" but, I have inserted my foot in my mouth all the way my hind parts.
I'm not a "name dropper" but there is someone whom I hope will read this and know that I am Truly and Sincerely sorry for a statement I made. I got caught up in the moment and I inadvertently offend them.
I humbly ask that you accept my Apology. You need not respond this blog but if you wish, you may send a private note thus keeping this between us.

Again,,,, I am Truly very sorry.

The Truss Press and a Finished Truss

The first photo is the Truss press. After I cut the boards to make a truss, I place them in this machine. I use metal "cleats" or "gang nails" to hold them together. I push a button and it presses the gang nails into the wood.
The second photo is a finished truss for a ' wide building. Our "signature style" is a barn roof.

This is the finished work table. I had cut 4 inches off the support bars allow the 2x4 "scabs" pass. "Scabs are boards we use connect long runners.
Exampole: A building ft. wide x 32 ft. long requires 8- 4" x 6" x ' and 4- 4" x 6" x 8' as a wide requires 4 skids/runners. These have be tied together with scabs which 2 x 4 's- 4 foot long nailed on each side of the runner.
The second photo is a typical floor being built. It's only a wide but you'll see the skids.
