I haven't posted anything in a while but I've been rather busy. I have a new project I'm about to finish up. It's a laptop caddy. When done I'll post a photo. I've done a couple and this one is my third. Stay tuned for further developments.

Perhaps a Change is Needed....

I've been a member here for over 2 years now. I have made many Friends in the Lobby Chatroom. I haven't met any of them yet but I'm hoping to change that in August... we'll see.
No, the change I'm talking about is, I don't messages unless the other person contacts me first, especially the women. I know many who are inundated with emails, some containing unwanted photos. I also feel like I might be intruding.
Maybe it's just me and I need to change things up a bit. Instead of waiting for an invitation, I should be the one doing the invite, making "First Contact". The worst that could happen is I'm told No or No Thanks, both of which I've heard before so it wouldn't come as a surprise.
One of the main reasons I don't reach more is, my life style. I'm a smoker, cigarettes only, and I'm a Care Taker. Most of the "matches" on here are non-smokers. I get that and respect it. I myself, have no plans of quitting anytime soon. As for being a care taker, it's not for everyone. It's not glamorous, far from it. Who in their right mind wants to be saddled with the responsibility of taking care of someone they're not related to or married to? I didn't ask for this. It was more or less thrust upon me but I accepted it, I stepped up when others couldn't or wouldn't. I'm not looking for a "pat on the back", I did what had to be done, simple as that.
I've stated this many times in chat and on my profile, {I think},, I'd be happy with just a simple dinner date, no obligations, expectations or commitments, just two people for an evening meal filled with polite, intelligent conversation and perhaps a laugh or two.
Anyway,, that's all I'm gonna say for the time being. Change needs to happened it up to me to figure where and what...………. Take Care.

In last post, I added a of photos of latest wind chime. is another part of that . I'm still working on the wind catcher which will be an Angle. I'll post it as soon as I'm done.

I've done hand painted Christmas decorations and wooden Christmas cards,, Yes I said wooden. My Mother still has one of the first ones I did over 30 ago.
I have 7 that I need complete by Christmas. This is the first. My apologies for the poor picture quality. I need a new phone. The camera lens on the back is scuffed up so bad. it looks like I'm taking pictures in a major fog bank.

Due the Holidays, work has slowed a crawl, so I've had time work on a few projects.
First is my Newest Wind chime. Customer ordered it for their Mom.
The first photo is BEFORE the embellishments. The Second post will be AFTER I added the embellishments.
Let me know what you think. It's still a "work in progress".
