My older is out of the Navy and connected with A Georgia Peach. His plans were to get out of the Navy and go to Berkley University - but now he's planning go to Georgia Tech Instead. I am currently in Georgia. The only thing I've ever know about Georgia is what I read in Gone with the Wind and the burning of Atlanta. Atlanta is like Los Angeles only cleaner with sculptures all over the place. Yesterday, We went to Stone Mountain, the concept of a confederate version of Mr. Rushmore and an Air Show with the Blue Angels. This morning we went to the Aquariuam in Atlanta and the High Art Museaum. Now, I am with my Georgia Honey. Geocaching and the Jimmy Carter President library tomorrow. Woo Hoo!

Another Famous Taurus in Military School he switched his name around, He was born Hiram Ulysses Grant but did not want to be known by his initials HUG! General HUG - Civil War Hero what a Concept. He was born in Point Pleasant, Ohio - The land of Mothman. Although Mothman liked hanging around the West Virginia side of the bridge.
Grant was known as a whiskey drinker and, heavy cigar smoker which may well have contributed to his developing of throat cancer later in his life.
General Grant was the Civil War Chief General for the winning side. Eventually Grant was elected President and there were scandals. Oh Well! History has repeated itself.
Grant was known to visit the Willard Hotel to escape the stress of the White House. He referred to the people who approached him in the lobby as "those damn lobbyists," possibly giving rise to the modern term lobbyist.
Grant's nicknames included: The Hero of Appomattox, "Unconditional Surrender" Grant ("U.S. Grant"), Sam Grant (originating at West Point, from "U. S." Grant suggesting "Uncle Sam"), The Great Captain and, in his youth, Ulys, Lyss and Useless.
Grant is the only president on record to receive a speeding ticket for running his and buggy through the streets of Washington, D.C. The fine was $20.
While in California, Grant tried selling ice to South America, but failed when it melted in the warm weather aboard the ship. The question "Who's buried in Grant's Tomb?" was used by Groucho Marx in his radio and TV quiz show, the correct answer to which resulted in a consolation prize to contestants who had won no money. Some contestants thought it was a trick question.
