The last time I had an X-Mas Tree was in 2005. It was a half price dollar store fiber optic tree that I bought a few years before.

I Loved that Tree but alas I moved to Texas and gave the tree away.

I decided that I wanted a tree again this year. I was looking for my beloved half price dollar store Fiber Optic Tree except it would be full price minus my WallyWorld Discount.

WallyWorld had them for Sixteen Dollars which would be Fifteen Forty with my WallyWorld Discount. Dang! Do I really need a tree that bad.

A few Days ago, I was Kroger and found the Charlie Brown Tree for $12.00. So the company store is not getting my money this year.

I LOVE this Tree.

I am not a Cat Person but I managed to acquire a Feline Creature. I did a job transfer to Charlottesville for a Love Connection that went South. The major challenge was to contintue working Charlottesville on Sam's Club Wages in C-Ville's High Rent District. I placed an ad in Craig's List. I was contacted by a Family who needed someone to be a care provider for a woman who was in Hospice.

Mrs. L
was Arapaho Indian and Loved Astrology. We were Kindred Souls. She also loved Cats. Abner, Dizzy, Smudge, Spooky, Cricket, Peanut and Boogie. Moochy was the Sole Survivor.

I took care of Mrs. L but I also took care of Moochy. Every night I would come
home from Work and Moochy would follow me to the door greeting me with "Yeow Yeow Yeow!"

He is at least 17 Years old. He decided that he was going to live with Mrs. L. She made him stay outside because he would beat up the other cats.

Mrs. L is now in the SpiritWorld. She died at home in her bed, the way she wanted to. Her , her 's partner and I cared for her in those final hours. Moochy came in and layed on the foot of her bed.

Now Moochy lives in West Virginia and he has adjusted quite nicely to being an indoors cat. He still greets me every night when I get home from work with "Yeow Yeow Yeow
!"

I am not a Cat Person but I have a Cat. Life on Life's Terms.

Black Friday Adventures at Wal-Mart & A Twelve Step Meeting

I supported the Capitalist Dream by working at Wal-mart on Thanksgiving. It was actually a HO HUM!!!! Day. I prefer it busier. The time goes by faster. I got off work and drove over the boarder to Virginia to celebrate the Holiday with some friends.

Black Friday was scheduled to start at 10 PM on Thanksgiving Eve.

Driving home, I drove past Wal-Mart where Black Friday was in full force. I was certainly glad to NOT be working at that time. The Parking Lot was packed. The Parking Lot for the Stores at the Mall Next to is was full. The Parking Lots for Applebee's and Arby's was full. People were parked across the street and even illegally on the streets.

Dang, I thought to myself. Where the heck am I going to park when I get to work in the morning. When I made it home, I crawled into bed only to wake up, get dressed and head to work.

Happily, I was able to park in my usual place. Yea Haw! I survived Cashiering on Black Friday! I came home exhaused and tempted to crawl back into bed. I needed to go to a 12 Step Meeting, It was suggested that I would feel better once I got there.

I've seen so many at the beginning of thier journey into recovery. I love watching them progress, grow and become respected 12 Step Guru's One of my favorites was speaking that night. At the end of the meeting, they were giving out chips for various milestones in recovery. One of the local lawyers was giving them out. Desire Chip, Thirty Days, Three Months, Six Months, Nine Months, Any Anniversaries, Nope and he starts to close the Box.

Excuse Me, I told him. We DO have an anniversary. Is there a 34 Year Chip in there? I forgot all about why I needed to be at that meeting.

Alcoholism is not a Sin and Sobriety is not a Virtue. Despite all my years, I have never acheived Guru Status but I've watched a number of others do just that. It's a lot easier to get 34 years than it is 34 days. Surviving Black Friday at Wal-Mart is real acheivement. Yea Haw!!!!!

FOTO FRIDAY - REAR VIEW WINDOW

In this Photo, I inadvertly got the Rear View Window of my car when I took a photo from the Front Window.

I decided the scene from the Front Window was far more interesting and scenic than the Parking Lot of Burger King. Nevertheless, I caught the picture of the parking lot in the Mirror
.

Hanging on the rearview is a Guardian Angel with St Christopher

St Christopher - Protect Me, My Passengers and all who pass by with a steady hand and a watchful eye.

I
purchased one for my when I gave him Monticello Blue the East Coast Malibu and bought Granddaddy Hedrick the Oldsmobile.

A few days after I bought the Oldmobile, I backed into another car at the Harris Teeter Parking Lot. It was a minor 'OPPS' but nevertheless I decided that Granddaddy Hedrick needed his very own Guardian Angel and St. Christopher.

Perhaps St. Christoper was protecting everyone at Burger King.

When 9/11 Happened, a Girlfriend went to Wal-Mart to find some Red White and Blue Ribbons. Everything Red, White and Blue was sold out. I acquired some willow branches I went to Wal-Mart and purchased Red, White and Blue Yard. I made them into Dreamcatchers and gave them to all my friends. I even sent Dreamcatchers to our Congressmen, Senator, and the President. Those Dreamcatchers hung all over Greenbrier and Monroe Counties, West Virginia.

Later on, I made Yellow Dreamcatchers in honor my , Niece and Nephew-in-Law who were deployed to the Warfront.

I could never choose a favorite but I've so much fun creating photos. In my early SFF Days. I took pictures with my webcam. I had an old hubcap where I would light a candle displayed of my favorite rocks, stones, crystals including my Favorite Amber necklace.

Frequently, some[
male person would request to view my webcam, thinking he was going to see something really good. He didn't get to see what he was thought he was going to see. He did get to see my amber necklace and candlelight. This photo was taken in 2006.

More recently, I've taken photos with my cellphone camera and now I actully carry a small digital camera in my purse. LOL!

The Economics of Liberals Versus Conservatives

According to my gOOgle Research
the Definition of Liberalism (from the Latin liberalis, "of freedom")[1] is the belief in the importance of liberty and equal rights.[2] Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but generally, liberals support ideas such as constitutionalism, liberal democracy, free and fair elections, human rights, capitalism, and freedom of religion Rejecting several foundational assumptions that dominated most earlier theories of government, such as nobility, established religion, absolute monarchy, and the Divine Right of Kings.

Conservatism (Latin: conservare, "to preserve")[1] is a political and social philosophy that promotes the maintenance of traditional institutions and supports, at the most, minimal and gradual change in society. Some conservatives seek to preserve things as they are, emphasizing stability and continuity, while others oppose modernism and seek a return to the way things were per gOOgle Research

Republicans support Big Business while Democrats support the Common Man. In reality, Big Business and the Common Man need each other. Wal-Mart would not succeed if there was no workers to keep it running. If the rich get richer so should the poor get richer. Unfortunatedly this is not always the case. There is the theory of soaking the rich to the point where they move to 3rd World Counties to business which leave the common Countryman without. There is also the Business that expliots the Commonman such as the Coalmine Wars in West Virginia where the National Guards were sent in to shoot the striking coalminers.

Perhaps Coalminer owners could import workers from 3rd World Counties to do the mining like they did in Rock Springs, Wyoming.. The Rock Springs massacre, also known as the Rock Springs Riot, occurred on September 2, 1885, in the present-day United States city of Rock Springs, Wyoming, in Sweetwater County.

The riot, between Chinese immigrant miners and white immigrant miners, was the result of racial tensions and an ongoing labor dispute over the Union Pacific Coal Department's policy of paying Chinese miners lower wages than white miners. This policy caused the Chinese to be hired over the white miners, which further angered the white miners and contributed to the riot. Racial tensions were an even bigger factor in the massacre. When the rioting ended, at least 28 Chinese miners were dead and 15 were injured

Scorpio is the time of the year when Pluto does a Salsa Dance with the Paranormal Energies.

It is the time of the year when the Veil between the Two Worlds is thinnest.

Witches, Bats, Haunted Houses, and Spiders. Halloween is actually Samhein when the Witches have their ball.

Bats are nothing to be afraid of. Bats Eat Spiders and Spiders can be be really creepy even if they are not scary.

Haunted Houses, Bah Humbug! I am sure that our departed ancestors have better things to do than to hang around old houses scaring people.

Is it BOO? Perhaps it's Boo Hoo! Maybe it's simply Nanny Nanny Boo Boo!

How To Torture A Man With Opera Music????

I invited a Gentleman from the Old Fart Dance to the Opera. The Old Fart Dance plays the classic country music that so many West Virginians are fond of.

His response was, the only Opera he would going to was is Tennessee and made a few other suggestions. I don't know why some of these guys conclude that "Big Boobs equal Round Heels!" Maybe they are just hoping it does.

So...........Star along with her big boobs put on her high heels boots and went to the Opera by herself.

Anna Bolena - about Henry VIII and his unfortunate Queen Anne. Henry VIII was the untimate Male Chauvinist Pig. I suspect an ancestor of a few of my past relationships.

The Next Opera at the Greenbrier Theater will be Mozart’s Don Giovanni. I love Mozart but Don Giovanni was a player. If I went to that Opera, I would get kicked out for throwing Sunflower Seeds at him.

So...........I am going to Wagner’s Siegfried. Nordic Mythology is always interesting and the Fat Woman gets to sing.

I'll go to that Opera with a Girlfriend and maybe we'll save our money and go to the Grand Old Opera in Tennessee.
