Earlier this week - My Dodge Dynasty name Delilah died on Interstate 64 on my way to work. Delilah is God Car, She runs by the Grace of God but God finally said "Enough!" So Delilah's in the Graveyard and Star's looking for a New Car. Life on Life's Terms.

Nothing has a more adverse affect on my serenity than when my car goes NFG! My first reaction was to call a 12 Step Friend of mine. There was no answer. My second thought was to call the only person I could think of when I get into trouble. Mr. Joe. Next I called my landlady to find out about the Mechanic that she had mentioned. So the Tow Truck took Delilah away and I made it work Two Hours Late. I did call to advise them that I was stuck on Interstate 64 so they were happy that I made it in.

Heck Darn Blast and Other Words to that effect! Life on Life's Terms. So My 12 Step Friend called and today we went to the Shenandoah National Park. The Park Road is on a Mountain with Panorama Views of the Appalachian Mountains and more.

There were several parked cars in one area. Folks were taking pictures of a Mama Bear standing by a tree with her Cubs in the Tree. It appears that she sent her cubs up the tree and she was guarding the tree.

"We need to leave that bear alone," I told my 12 Step Friend. Why can't people just leave these animals be and interfering with a Mama Bear and her babies is Dumb Dumb Dumb!

Oh Well, God Grant Me the Serenity to accept the fact that I can't change other people. I just hope that Mama Bear didn't bite any of those picture taking tourists

Dating Scams and Mr. Joe's Nigerian Rose.

When I moved out of Mr. Joe's place - He inadvertly placed of a box of his property in the back of my car. So today, I found correspondence between him and a Miss Addy Rose from Nigeria.

What a bunch of mushy gobble goof. She is like a rose giving the leaves away but saving the flower for her "Honey" who has fantastic abs. Yeah Right. There a big belly attached those ABS. However, He did manage to drop 40 pounds when I was cooking for him.

God forgive me for thinking such bad thoughts. Poor Mr. Joe!!!

and ROFLMAZZZZZO!!!!

He paid
one thousand nine hundred fifty AMERICAN dollars for a plane ticket for Ms. Addie Rose.

Next comes the message entitled "Sad and Confused." He sent the money but no Addie Rose. He waited at the airport and found out that no such flight existed.

She writes back - Her mother was sick and she needed to use the money for her Mother's Hospital Bill. Would he please send her money again for the plane ticket? Absolutely, Positively Yes! After all Real Love has no price. It's only money.

I have no idea how that scenario ends but what a Fool Hearted Man.

Why is he so willing to chase after the fantasy which will only empty his wallet and ignore the reality where true love can be found.

The Reality is that I am all alone again. I am a former exotic dancer and I can attract the men. The problem is that most of them seem to be after just one thing and I have so much more to offer than that.

Dear God, Please - No More Fool Hearted Men!!!!!!!

So tomorrow, I'll go worship with the Quakers and find another hiking trial to conquer. Life on Life's Terms

What an interesting day!!!!! I got a message last night from Mr. Leo. Would I consider a committed relationship with him? Can I meet him in the morning at Monticello? Yeah Right! He's already stood me up twice before. Will History repeat itself.

I am going hiking tomorrow regardless so if he shows up... fine. If he doesn't - That's fine too. I am still going hiking.

Mr. Leo texts this morning. Do I want to be his girl. He'll meet me this evening for a stroll at the Historical Downtown Mall and a romantic Ice Cream Cone No Problem. If he shows fine. If he doesn't, Fine!!!! I prefer Latte to Ice Cream Cones!

Monticello was outrageously crowded for Memorial Day weekend. I was more interested in the Trails anyway. I found the Carter Overlook Trail which was quite secluded. I told God that if I find the Geocaches, would he please remove my character defect that attracts the likes of Mr. Joe and the Texas Trucker.

I didn't find the caches. The Wooded Areas has the GPS Signals confused. Maybe God thinks my Character Defect is okay. Maybe he just doesn't want me making deals with him. I don't know.

After the hike, I drove to Greenberry's for a Latte. No call from Mr. Leo. I am not surprised. A committed relationship starts with someone who keep a committment for a date or at least call if he can't make it. Life on Life's Terms.

Upon leaving the cafe, no Key!!!! OMG! I am stranded in C-Ville. I walked over to Kroger to get a wire hanger so that I can pop the lock. I've done it before with a whole lot of trouble. Yikes!

My thought was that I locked them in the truck when I got the laptop.

I called a few folks to no avail. I decided to go back to Greenberry's to get on the laptop and do a cyber distress signal. Lo and Behold - My Keys were in the computer case. So I started writing this blog.

Maybe God has already removed that character defect by not having Mr. Leo show up.

Prayer to St. Anthony
Tony Tony Turn Around
What is Lost, Must Be Found.

Thank God for GPS's and St. Anthony.

When I got divorced in 2002, all I wanted to do is find a Cave to crawl around in. Eventually I found a caving buddy and did just that. He would have me climb on these high ledges just to look at some pretty fossils.

I've always found healing energy in Nature. There was the Greenbrier River Trail and Many other Trails in the Greenbrier State Forest. I left all of it and moved to TEXAS for LOVE. That Love went South so I went WEST. Texas may be a good place for ex's but it's not my Medicine Wheel. Neither is Bum FiretrUCK, Nevada.

So I ended up in Blue Ridge Country, Virginia for the Second Love Connection. That Love had bitten the dust.

I am Libra and Libra doesn't deal with break-ups with a whole lot of dignity and grace.

The difference is that I LOVE Blue Ridge Country. This is a place with healing energy. There is nature but there also History.

For Whatever reason, Monticello is my favorite hang out. The Monticello Trail is citified by Star Standards but breath taking-ly beautiful. All of the Founding Fathers have walked these grounds. It's just awesome. It feels so much like home if only I really had a home.

So, I will help build homes for others who need homes. Women Build is an All Female Construction Crew for Habitat for Humanity. It just feels so empowering to be building something and make life better for somebody else. I love the idea of building a dream for somebody else.

The funny thing is that Mr. Joe is gone. He's with the Bimbo but I love the way my life is emerging. There IS life after Mr. Joe. So I am going to build houses, great big house and that is a healing experience.

So this morning - I get this message

You could have been interesting....'till I saw 52 men on your friends list and photos of your ass put there for the world to see. It keeps you from being in a class of your own. Just another typical female on here. Oh well, no foul, no penalty. Good luck to you!

What a Jerk! Anyone who knows me knows that I am anything but Typical. I've been on this site for several years now and have acquired a lot of friend. There are women, couple and yep even men on my Friends List.

There are my blogging buddies and porch buddies in the magazine.

There is MrsJoe and Dandee who I consider Spiritual Advisors.
Where would I have been without MrsJoe when I was dealing with the death of my Brother.

There is PairDreamer and TreasureHunter who are both in the SpiritWorld Now.

My 12 Step Advisor who is now seriously ill is among my list of friends.

I am Libra and Partnership is my Forte - I am not giving up on Love but right now, I'm not looking for it. It's going to have to find me.

I am just going to Build Houses, Great Big Houses, Maybe if I help build somebody else a home, God will grant me one of my own. Life on Life's Terms.

I just revised my Friend's List and took Mr. Joe off my Friend's List. He's Ancient History. I'm moving on.

When I left West Virginia to follow the Love Connection with the Trucker, I left the Greenbrier River Trail, My 12 Step Community, My Spiritual Community, and Girlfriends. Love Went South so I went West to BumFiretrUCK, Nevada.

I didn't find Love but I did find WAL_MART
I've worked at Wal-Mart in Texas, Nevada, and Virginia

and finally Transferred to Sam's Club in Blue Ridge Country to follow a love connection with Mr. Joe. He loves the Blonde BIMBO more than he does me so.............

Now I am in Blue Ridge Country and I love it here.

I don't have the Greenbrier River Trail but I have the Monticello/Saunder's Trail. This Sunday, I went to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian/Universalist Fellowship and the Charlottesville Quaker Meeting House. Both have gorgeous buildings. The Spiritual Groups I belonged to in West Virginia didn't have their very buildings.

and I may just have a whole bunch of new girlfriends........... I just talked to a representative from Habitats for Humanity about a group call Women Build. It's an All Female Construction Crews. Yea Ha!!!!!

I am Libra and will NEVER give up on Love but right now I'm not looking for it. It will have to find me.

You Go Girl!!!! C&P Love This Story

A story with a happy ending!

This nineteen-year-old ex-cheerleader (now an Air Force Security Forces Sniper) was watching a road that led to a NATO military base when she observed a man digging by the road. She engaged the target (i.e., she shot him). Turned out he was a bomb maker for the Taliban and he was burying an IED that was to be detonated when a US patrol walked by 30 minutes later. It would have certainly killed and wounded several soldiers.

The interesting fact of this story is the shot was measured at 725 yards. She shot him as he was bent over burying the bomb. The shot went through his butt and into the bomb which detonated; he was blown to pieces. The Air Force made a motivational poster of her:

(Folks, that's a shot 25 yards longer than seven football fields!)
And the last thing that came out of his mouth was his azzzzzz!

A Fellowship, A Meeting House and the Quest for NORMAL!!!!!

When I was newly sober, my major goal is life was simple to be NORMAL but I didn't have a clue what NORMAL was so I researched it. Normal is Average and Traditional. I had to figure out what normal people do and do it.

I was told that people don't get committed for being insane. They only get committed for ACTING insane. So if I pretended to be normal, nobody would ever know the difference.

I had decided that I needed a Religon. I was told "Stick with the Winners." The people that I wanted to be like. So I researched the different religions and found out that the Espiscoplians were the most educated so I started attending confirmation classes for the Espiscopalian Church.

Of course, I would be going to my job as an Exotic Dancer right after the classes were over and sometimes wore interesting outfits to the class. I did become a confirmed Espiscopalian. The members are indeed Educated but they are also Horty Torty which I am not nor will I ever be.

When I was busted by the Vice squad - I pleaded it down to Disturbing The Peace and was sent to do community service at my own church.

Needless to say, over the years my Spirituality has evolved and I've associated myself with Religious Groups that are more in
agreement with my more "Alternative Attitudes and Beliefs."

So this week, I've decided to find a Home Church. I was undecided about which one. The Unitarian-Universalists or the Quakers. So this Morning I went to Both. I went to the Unitarian Service at 9 am and the Quaker Service at 11 am.

Christian Beliefs are not required for the Unitarians. The Quaker have Christian Beliefs but tolerate others who question those beliefs. The Relationship is between You and God to figure it out. I love thier style of worship. The Unitarians have awesome programs so where to go, where to go.

Both for right now.

The Grouchy Customer at Sam's Club!!!!!!!!

All WallyWorld Associates know the joke about the Door Greeter complimenting the Nasty Customer who comes in with her two about her "Twins" because it doubtful that the nasty customer got laid twice.

Reality is that we have to be nice to customers no matter how disagreeable they are. Most of the time they are actually interesting and friendly. However once in a while one walks in and I wished that they would shop someplace else.

Once such customer is a woman that I call Mrs. Jeremiah Wright after Obama's Disagreeable Pastor. She is always nitpicking and complaining about some stupid thing.

"Must you throw the chicken in the cart like that," she barks. How am I suppose to respond to that. I simply complete the transaction, hand her the change and tell her, "Have a nice day."

I have to confess, it is amusing watching her walk away mad over that abused dead chicken. A few weeks later, she's in my line again and complains about the way I handed her the change.

So last week, I came into work. Sometime when I drive to work, I find myself crying over my break-up with Mr. Joe but I manage to walk into the door and do my job. That was the way that day started for me and the FIRST customer on my Register is "Mrs. Jeremiah Wright," She is buying herself some frozen crabs which matchs her disposition. Happy Happy Joy Joy!

I blank her out and complete the transaction, quickly as possible. "Can't you talk," she barks. "Say What," I responded as I handed her the receipt. "You are suppose to SMILE when you deal with the public," she barks and walks away with a huff forgetting her frozen stuffed crabs. I had to run after her to give her the box of broken crabs.

She didn't realize that thirty minutes earlier, I was in my car crying my eyes out. I wonder what she was crying about on her way to the store. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever quit crying over Joe. Maybe she's been crying for years. Nevertheless, I hope that the next time she shops at Sam's that she stands in somebody else's line.

So later that day, I get a comment from the supervisor. "We've had a complain from a customer who said that you don't smile and you are not very nice to customers."

Dang, anyone who knows me will attest that is absolutely not true. I may be anti-establishment but I am not anti-social. We all have bad days and life is not a twenty four hour orgasm.

I simply responded to the supervisor by telling her, "any customer that holds a Eight Month resentment about a dead chicken being tossed into the cart to roughly has issues that have nothing to do with my job performance. I'm not worried about it." Life on Life's Terms.

Will the Backroads From Monticello Lead to True Love

I thought I found LOVE by doing all the right things, following the instruction book and walking Politically Correct Path. Instead, I found El Toro Doo Doo. Now I am using it as fertilizer to grow sunflowers and trying to heal my broken heart.

So today, I went bee-booping around Historical place. First I went to Monticello and walked the grounds. The Slave Graveyard was open so I walked in. Somehow this graveyard seems so much more peaceful that the other one that contains the dignitaries. There is very little evidence of the deceased folks under the ground. There are a few sunken places some unmarked head and footstones that could simply be ramdom boulders scattered in the yard. Those folks truely returned to the Earth and They are simply gone with the Spirit someplace else.

After Monticello, I drove to Ashlawn-Highland which is James Monroe's Place. Jim's Place is a practical farmhouse versus the State of the Art Mansion that Thomas Jefferson's Monticello is. Tom's Place has fancy gardens while Ashlawn is full of wildflowers and of course Ash Trees.

I turned on the car GPS and headed for Home4Now. I refuse to call it Home. I really really miss having a home. The GPS kept wanting to lead me to Interstate 64 and I kept saying no, I want to find out where these backroads will lead me. James Monroe Parkway to Thomas Jefferson Parkway to James Madison Parkway to Courtyard Parkway and finally to Kent's Store Road and Home4Now.

The Politically correct I-64 will get me to that Abode that I currently Reside but the Backroads are far more interesting.

I compare this with my life. I tried the politically correct path to find love and it got me a broken heart. So maybe I should just toss away that politically correct book with all it's polically correct rules and try another way.

The backroads from Monticello might just be the path that lead me to a real home and real love.
