good relationships come in all sizes and shapes 6/22/2006
This is about my grandsons! They are 9 and 11. The youngest
called me up last weekend to make sure I was coming to his
little league game. (Like I would have missed it!!) My 11
year old plays catcher and the 9 year old is on the same team
and plays third base. MY 11 year old caught a pop fly (halfway
to first base) and quickly threw it to his brother on third
and he tagged the runner ...

Self-love equals happy holidays 6/20/2006
I give myself a present at the holidays. No, it's not
jewelry, a fur coat or a new car. It's a loving inventory
of how I've grown in the past year, heralding the changes
in my life and giving glory to God for providing the courage
to recognize the good and beautiful in all that surrounds
me. You can't have love unless you give it away. May
your New Year be filled with good health, ...

Falling leaves II 6/20/2006
Perhaps someone would like to comment on the simile "don't

Falling leaves 6/20/2006
Falling leaves, like relationships, will fall whether
you like it or not. The ebb and flow of nature shows us the
path to follow in seeking harmony. Don't squeeze that
little kitten too tightly. Hold it gingerly, and listen
to it PURR !

Revealing Oneself 6/18/2006
I don't know how to say this and I am saying this for the
first time. Physically I am female, otherwise, I am different.
I have been married, have and everything stays
the same with me. It is very painful to admit you are different
because people are so cruel and mean. When you are different,
you are looked at like you have some contagious disease.
I lived in my shell and my pretenses. I ...

Most Men Are Jerks 6/18/2006
I’m a man, and from what I’ve learned at work, most men are
jerks.
Whenever we get together for lunch, and the conversation
turns to women, dating, sexuality or marriage, I hear the
most inane, dehumanizing and sexist comments.
This is the sum of most their comments (made when women are
not present):

Building a Bridge Between Australia and Iowa 6/18/2006
I am currently in a relationship with a gentle man in Australia.
Just for the record, Iowa is 8, 624 miles away from my friend.
Is it easy to build a relationship with someone so far away?
No. But, if we do become a team, then it was worth the risks
and the gamble. At least with the Internet and phones, we
are able to communicate. And we have an expression, "Cards
on the Table" -- ...

I don't know about you girls but i find it digusting

comes later in the relationship, men can be so vulgar at
times seems like all they want to do is get in your pants first..well

re: when will men wake up and smell the coffee 6/17/2006
This article had a few valid points, but why do men bring
up sex in their profiles? There are countless reasons for
this, perhaps they have left a lovless marriage where the
partner has no desire in physical love due to hormonal shifts,
an operation where she no longer feels like a whole woman
and have lost self worth(these can be treated with interpersonal
communication and seeking ...

in relationships. Isn't that true? Now I find I am starting

french kissoing, either. Everybody has their own way of
doing things, which includes kissing. Is it wrong for one
to tell the other that they don't like how they kiss?
And would a man be willing to change his kissing style? Would
a woman be willing to? Is it possible thbat after years of

SEX- the ultimate question 6/15/2006
Why is SEX so important to many people these days.? A woman
feels out of place and left out even when she is dressed nicely
today. If she is dressed sexy, then she will be looked at.
Do we women need to feel that we must let out top hang down
the shoulder as far as possible, wear our dresses away above
the knee. BIG boots are required and WALK with a wiggle.

Keeping your profile active 6/15/2006
I recently started dating a man . We met through this site. We live in the same city and have had several dates. I am completely taken with him.
My problem is that this guy continues to keep his profile on the dating site and visits it frequently. He says he goes there only if someone contacts him. I told him it makes me feel insecure; he said until he feels "safe" (previous women have left him ...

It's the Truth........Honestly 6/15/2006
Having been raised in Europe, I still have difficulty in
persuading my American male friends in my life that what
I discuss with them is the truth. I was raised to believe
that my man was the center of my world and should be treated
accordingly. Our home should always be neat, and clean,
laundry done, folded and ironed and a good meal ready and
waiting at the appropriate time. That I ...

it's all that I have.

A Strand of Friendship 4/23/2006
Friendship is a nice thing once you know that you have found
a good friend. But, what exactly is a "good friend"
There are friends then there friends. Most people have
got A friend, rather its a male or a female. It doesn't
really matter what sex they are, providing they aren't
married to someone else, or dating someone. A friend can
be your neighbor, someone that you you just go for coffee ...

My question is LTR does that refer to an "Open"

This is a question that should be asked by each party before
entering into an LTR. If it is not asked the faint of heart

Magical formula 4/12/2006
I sometimes think having a relationship becomes a habit.
Some people seem to go through life having one partner after
another.
Yet, somewhere along the line they both must have felt something
surely? Or perhaps I'm being cynical.
Good companionship, likes and dislikes,
sex or dare I say it. Love!

lives. Surely don't do it ...

Using your brain between the ears. 4/12/2006
I read recently that the average number of sexual partners
women were having before marriage these days was 14. That
quite horrified me to be honest and I found it quite hard

liberal old 1965 model, despite a strict catholic school
education which tried to instill into our brains the importance
of keeping our 'johnsons' in ...

Most essential thing in a relationship to me is Honesty
first. If I feel I can trust a person right off the bat, I would
feel that maybe there might be something there, in the future.
To feel secure with a person is probably the most required,
in any kind of a relationship. I don't tell if I have
money, I don't give out personal information to start
with. Some people want to know what a ...

when one "thinks" they might be in a relationship,
what does that mean? You cannot see anyone else. Can you

with? What is "relationship material???"
