Charlottesville, Virginia - Rated as one of the best places to live by a number of magazines, and the residents that live here, and the surrounding areas. Since C'ville has so much to offer this group is not restricted to just topic. In Charlottesville we have a first rate education system, that continues to the post graduate level, a top rated hospital, and of course what would a great town be without a place to dine? We have sports galore, and not just the UVA men's and women's teams - you can find a game of pick-up whatever around here, and who knows, it just may be in pick-ups. While sports are nice it isn't the only entertainment around, there are concerts, art exhibits, dancing, fairs, and special events. We host some great forums for world leaders, and the people that help form policy at the Miller Center. While not as large as Richmond, VA (the state capital) this is just an hour east of us, nor Washington, DC (the national capital) two hours north east of here, we do have that more relaxed, down home feel, and still able to provide the quality of life you can expect in almost any metro area. I have noticed that a number of people from Central Virginia have registered with SFF, yet we didn't have our own place to hang out and meet. Well, it is my hope that this will help.
