I was born and raised in the Southern part of the US. In my professional life I was active duty Air Force for 24 year then 21 years with the Xerox Corporation. l recently retired and divorced ( not at the same moment) so I am looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones. I like to laugh and enjoy the company of others. I don't do well with negative people. I prefer upbeat and happy. Life is too short so let's enjoy the time we have. I like the outdoors and I do like to fly fish or just walk in the woods. I have gardens and like playing in the dirt; growing things is a wonderous past time. I am petty well traveled but there are still a lot of places to see and other trails to walk. I have done skydiving and scuba diving; I prefer the scuba, the landings are softer.

My Ideal Person
I do like people who know how to laugh and who do not take themselves too seriously. I am interested in meeting new people and sharing stories. I am more about the mind than the physical which is a good thing with the isolation and travel restrictions. While I do enjoy my own company, life can be more fun if you have a friend. A cheeseburger just tastes better with a pal. One good thing I have found about being older is there seems to be an abundance of stories and experiences to be listened to and enjoyed. I confess, I have a few of my own that I do not mind sharing. I also will make up a few stories from time to time but I promise to tell you if they are true or a tall tale.. afterwards.
