I am a displaced Southerner, originally from New Orleans. In many ways I am a lover of tradition and tend to be sentimental. I have a great love and respect for all of nature, but I'm not much of the outdoorsy type. No camping for me! I love to be in the midst of nature, but have all the modern conveniences of home with me. My idea of "roughing it" would be a Holiday Inn with a rotary dial phone. But I do love riding. I'm a previous Kawasaki owner; still miss it.
Searching for a long-term relationship. Hoping to be best friends and lovers. My perfect match would be kind, patient and intelligent. I tend to be anxious and I do much better with someone who is easy-going and more mellow. It calms me and makes me feel more secure. Someone who is comfortable sharing their ideas and thoughts. Intelligent conversation is as important as long quiet moments.
This is difficult for me because I never make the first contact, I guess deep inside me there is a shy per but friends say they do not see that.
I would like to be with someone who shares some of my interests and has his own separate interests also.
Home life is important to me, so I am adamant about keeping it clean and neat. I don't enjoy a chaotic environment, but I do love spontaneity.

Opening the window just a tiny little bit so the wind can howl.
Those sudden moments of absolute silence.
Listening to the radio at night until I fall asleep.
Mimosas.
The beach at night, especially when the moon is full.
Fall campfires mix well with wine, especially Cabernets.
Bunny tracks in the snow.
The sound of church bells.
