My Dear readers, here is another introduction of other well known sport adventures in my country.

Mauritius is renowned for its tropical beaches. It remains one of the hottest holiday destination in the Indian Ocean, offering utmost comfort and relaxation. The Pearl of the Indian Ocean as it is called, has also an outstanding reputation for the many water sports it offers.: kayaks, pedal boats, stand up paddle, water-skiing, water bikes and the coral-sea lagoon offers exceptional snorkeling and diving experience. With its calm waters, the lagoon of Mauritius, provides the ideal conditions for amazing water sports adventure. Surfers gather on this island to take advantage of the year-long trade winds which are particularly favourable in winter. The vast white sandy beaches and the challenging reef waves make the island, one of the prime kite surfing destination, in the Indian Ocean.

I have hereby uploaded a few more photos of the activities of the Casela Nature and Leisure park of my country Mauritius as I have been requested to by my readers who have so much appreciated the Leisure Park. Including the longest zipline circuit of the Indian ocean, is only in Mauritius. The segway, the Quad biking, hiking, skydive, canyoning in a peaceful, safe and healthy environment.
Though there are lots and lots of stunning pics but due to limitation of number of pictures allowed, I can only post another ten photos for you. Hoping they will please you also.

My dear Readers,

You are all warmly welcome to my new blog, which I've promised to be quite different from my recent previous ones. This time, it's about a wonderful, stunning and surprising place in to my country, it is called Casela - Nature and Leisure Park.

Casela is a wonderful Nature and Leisure park at the west side of my country, Mauritius. It is the oldest park and has kept on growing throughout the years. With a beautiful view on the valley, the mountain, an eye catch landscape as well as the lush of vegetation, with also the enjoyable forest and Savannah, a beautiful lookout point with stunning views over the west coast, the white sandy beach, the sea and the beautiful sunset.

The park is set up with a variety of beautiful exotic plants and flowers. There are more than 1500 different kinds of colorful birds, fawns, lots of endemic trees, giant tortoises, large pools with a variety of aqua species, playground, parking lots, Moreover on the grounds of the
Park is located the delicious restaurant Le Mirador. You can also do all kinds of different, varied and fun activities. Many foreign weddings and honeymoons are frequently celebrated in there too.

Casela owes many lions, including the white ones, they are from different generations as the cheetahs and others. These wild cats have been tamed with great care and affection so that you have the opportunity to get in direct contact with these amazing animals and enjoy the time you spend with them during your visit at the park. You can also observe these animals in the wild, playing and climbing on trees. The guides will accompany you on the walk and they will give you much information about the behavour of these giant cats. These impressive big cats can be observed from a wooden platform as well.

STROKE AND WALK WITH THESE GIANT CATS.
After a brief introduction to the important rules of behavour which you should follow during the visit of these animals you can touch, stroke and walk along with them. This is truly special and unique in Mauritius.
Back in the park you will be served with refreshing drinks as well as a certificate of your experience with the wild giant cats and a free DVD will also be given to you as a souvenir of your stunned experience. This close contact and the interaction with the wild cats is a very special experience and I can recommend you to take this very rare chance that you will probably never get again. And NO fatal or unwanted accidents have ever occurred in Casela.

A warm welcome to all of you to this blog of mine which will be the last before taking a break on my fruits Editions. I may continue on fruits sometime later if you so wish. Today I have posted on STRAWBERRIES.

Strawberry is called "the queen of fruits" because it is packed with health benefits. Compared to fruits like apples, oranges or bananas, strawberries have the highest amount of nutrients.

Strawberries are considered one of the healthiest fruits. They are packed with antioxidants, lower blood pressure and protect your heart. Packed with essential vitamins and minerals, they are also sodium, cholesterol and fat free.

Dear Readers, today my blog is on Watermelon, which most of us like. Hahaha!!.

Dear Readers, today Grapefruit is the theme of my blog. For those who can consume it, here is the main description.

Grapefruit is a large citrus fruit related to the orange, lemon and pomelo. Grapefruits are categorized as white (blond), pink or ruby. However, this terminology doesn't reflect their skin color, which is either yellow or pinkish-yellow, but rather describes the color of their flesh.
With some varieties featuring seeds while others are seedless. It has a wonderful flavor and It is juicy, tart and tangy with an underlying sweetness that weaves throughout.

1- Grapefruits are usually eaten fresh by slicing the fruit horizontally and scooping out sections of the halves with a spoon or separate the flesh from the membrane by a serrated grapefruit spoon.
2- Grapefruits can also be eaten like oranges. You can peel them with your hands or with a knife and separate the membranes.
3- Another way to serve grapefruit is to peel and slice them.

Welcome to my new edition on Fruits. Today, my blog is on one of the most prized and popular fruit, called Pineapple or Ananas. It has an interesting history to narrate. The fruit is actually indigenous to Paraguay. It spread from its native by the local Indians up Later, it was brought to Spain by Columbus, from where; it spread to rest of the world by the sailors who carried it along with them for protection from scurvy (a disease caused by the deficiency of vitamin C) wherever they went.

Its pulp is juicy and fleshy with the stem serving as a supporting fibrous core. The outer skin features rough, tough, scaly rind. The color in the ripe fruits may change to yellow, orange-yellow or reddish. Internally, its juicy flesh may range from creamy white to yellow color and has a mix of sweet and tart taste with rich flavor. Each fruit measures in size up to 12 inches long and weighs 1 to 4 pounds or more.

Pineapple can be used as raw, as a refreshing drink, in cocktail, in salad, jelly, jam, in cakes, in yogurt,in ice cream, in all sort of menus too.

Health benefits of Pineapple fruit

Well, pineapple has lots of benefits for our health. It stores Minerals and Vitamin that are essential for optimum health. It flesh ha not cholesterol. It is an excellent source of anti-oxidant vitamin, for the blood vessels, skin, organs and bones. It is also an anti-inflammatory, anti-clothing and anti-cancer properties, it help in arthritis and indigestion too. Pineapple is rich in Vitamin B-complex group of vitamins. " COCONUT TREES AND THEIR FRUITS "

My Dear Readers,

Today, I've posted info on Coconut tree and its fruit., an amazing tree and fruits which have nothing to wasted really. From the tip of the tree to its roots. Some of us may not know exactly in which way and how, so I am describing it here for all the you. To my knowledge, this could be the only tree that has nothing to be wasted at all, it's good to know about it, thus:

1~ The Coconut Tree gives good shadow and is very decorative in the garden, along the beaches on the seaside and in parks.
2~ The leaves are used for hut's roofs, to make brooms, can be plated for mats
3~ The heart of the tree is used in special salad and different menus.
4~ The fruits : For its water and edible cream when unripe, for oil, coconut milk, and as condiment in many kinds of food.
5~ The outer part called the husk: to make brush, fiber for mattress and ropes, the shell for decorative art work and is used as charcoal too.
6~ The Trunk: is cut into big pieces to make folkloric musical drums, seats and decorative flower pots also.
7~ The roots are used as a medicinal infusion too.

So, these are the 7 uses of the coconut tree and its fruits, nothing therefore is wasted. Moreover, there is a myth about the coconut fruit itself, and I have really found it true. It is said that the dry coconut have 2 eyes, (a photo as proof) when observing it well, so the coconuts, even dry ones never falls on a person, it does either ahead of the person or behind or at the side but never on a person. I have myself witnessed this several times so far, having coconut trees in my garden. Hope all of these info have pleased you, giving you good ideas about Coconuts, the trees and their uses.

Ha!!, I've included a special photo of a single coconut, having an odd shape and outlook, so please, look at it well and you'll surely understand, its name refers to its shape and it is named accordingly, Coco ......!!, It is found in the Seychelles Islands.

Welcome to all my readers. Today, I've started a series of blogs on an essential Nutrient for our health, which is " Fruits". Eating fruit provides health benefits — people who eat more fruits and vegetables as part of an overall healthy diet, are likely to have a reduced risk of some chronic diseases. Fruits provide nutrients vital for health and maintenance of your body.
Today my first introduction is upon the fruits grown and cultivated in my country, Mauritius. As a tropical country, a very fertile island, where there are only two seasons, Summer and Winter. Both adequate for agriculture. Rain is in abundance, mostly sunny all year round, without any severe drought too. Hence, we have lots of seasonal fruits and vegetables all the time.

Tropical Fruits grown here in alphabetical order are: Avocados, Annonas/Attes, Bananas, Breadfruit, Bergamots, Carambolas/Starfruits, Coconuts, Coronsoles, Eggfruits, Guavas, Grenades, Grenadines, Grapefruits, Jamblons, Jackfruits, Litchis, Longans, Lemons, Mangoes, Mandarins, Melons, Mulberries, Oranges, olives, Pineapples, Passion fruits, Pomegranate, sugar-apple/Attes, Raspberries, Strawberries, Syzygium fruits.
Health Benefits of eating a diet rich in vegetables and fruits, is a part of an
overall healthy diet and may reduce risk for heart disease, including heart and other desease too.

My blog of today is on: Litchis, mangoes and Grenades, consecutively, with a quick note on each.

1~ LITCHIS / LITCHEES.
It is a delicious and juicy fruit, sweet and nutritious, these berries bring cooling effect on the human body to beat the summer heat. Fresh lytchee arils or flesh should be enjoyed all alone without any additions. Its slices can be a great addition to fruit salads and dressings. Lychee juice can be a refreshing drink during summer season and can be used in jellies, jams, sorbet, sauces, syrups, and as decorations too. It has all the principle Vitamins, Minerals and Electrolytes as nutrients.

2~ MANGOES.
Mango comes in different shapes and sizes depending upon
Cultivar types. Internally, its flesh is juice, orange-yellow
Or some reddish In color when RIpen. Its flavor is pleasant and rich and in pre-biotic dietary fiber, minerals,potassium and low sodium and has an antioxidant compound. A high-quality mango fruit should feature no or very Less Fiber

Against colon, breast, leukemia and prostate cancers.

Mango fruit can be enjoyed all alone without any additions

Each fruit measures about 6-10 cm in diameter and weighs about 200 gm. Its tough outer skin (rind) features leathery texture. Interior of the fruit is separated by white, thin, spongy, membranous, bitter tissue into discreet compartments. Such sections, packed as sacs, filled WIth tiny edible sweet, juicy, pink pulp encasing around a single, angular, soft or hard (in case of over mature fruits) seed. " RECIPE FOR A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP"

My dear Readers,
Welcome to my new type of blog. Today with a bit of HUMOR, am have posted hereby "My Recipe for a Successful Lasting Relationship", according to my own concept. It may work in any way, depending on one's will. You may take it as FUN obviously , but in some circumstances it may hopefully work.

To try this recipe and eventually needed are: A couple/ two partners or lovers or 2 intendants or similarly.

The Ingredients are: Love, sharing, understanding, the will, communication, respect, trust, tolerance, intimacy, romance, compassion, interests, emotion, joy/happiness, pleasure, comfort, reliance and satisfaction. Sharing must prevail.

The Preparation: With a positive Mindset, pour in as follows:
~ 4 table spoons full of LOVE,
~ 2 ,, ,, ,, of WILL,
~ 2 ,, ,, ,, of Communication
~ 1 spatula full of Respect and Trust
~ 500 mg of Tolerance
~ 800 milliliter of Romance and Compassion
~ 2 table spoon full of Interest
~ 1 spatula full of Emotion
~ A good pinch of Inspiration
~ 3 tb spoons full of Joy and Happiness and Pleasure
~ 2 big zests of Comfort and Reliance
~ 1 beautiful liter of Satisfaction.

Mix the ingredients carefully until smooth. When done pour it in a heart shape mould , brush it with sincere feelings and wishes. Then decorate it with tender kisses and warm smiles , let it raise with passion, devotion and desires.
Henceforth, scoop it and consume it daily without hesitation and renew it when necessary.
