Whether someone is on the left or Right there are agreements.
The agreement that the economy needs be opened.
For most the Right the agreement that there needs be testing.
I have never heard a person say that the control of this virus doesn't need\ better and more testing.
Control the virus ......Open the economy.. virtually 100% agreement.
From day one of the appearance of this virus..The severity of the problem has been a result of testing...when the virus first appeared in China...the first goal of the entire planet should have been testing.. Developing testing for the protection of your own country.. and your economic value any other country that would experience the epidemic..
In December... other than normal research for the United States the entire additional research on this virus should have been testing.
In regard personal protection equipment PPE's...or supplies such as ventilators.. The need to develop was not as great.... The problem being was that the virus occurred in China.. which produces most of those types of things.. We weren't going to develop something NEW ..
Testing of the virus, however would have been a NEW development. The country that developed it, built a better mouse trap..... would have done two things.. protect themselves from the epidemic and receive an incredible economic advantage..
We failed from day one to read the signs and develop TESTING. to sell our new and better testing to the world.
We failed on day two.. when the virus arrived..To have not developed TESTING.. To identify and isolate and surveil contacts to stop the spread. Instead of that, we went to social distancing and shutting down the economy.
During this time.. the amount of testing available..was not even sufficient to test those who had SYMPTOMS...WE increased testing, as SYMPTOMS Increased.. To the current situation that we can test everyone who has significant SYMPTOMS.
The irony was for the last month.. testing to determine who has significant symptoms.....IS USELESS... We do not need a test for that.. as the SYMPTOMS now describe the diseases..Due to the nature of social distancing, hospitalizations, and fear. People with significant symptoms do NOT spread the virus.
It's the asymptomatic people that are spreading virus.. people who don't know they are severely sick...To stop the spread.. contact surveillance of those who are severely sick.. is an absolutely necessary. Isolating and quarantining asymptomatic people necessary to control the virus..
WE do NOT have the necessary testing to test asymptomatic people. We are trying to develope better testing and more testing..But we are five months too late.

We talk of "bots" and right wing propaganda. It certainly, if used right, can be a "tools"
for truth avoiders.
I am not real 'big" on being a left supporter.. so I get to view it differently that someone on the left.
And I question stuff.. all the time..
I just can avoid thinking that some "Lefty" sits behind a computer trying to figure how best explain the Lunacy of the Right... and created you.

We have lived hundreds of year with the cultural differences between men and women..Those differences weighed both positively and negatively on both genders. Within those differences men were "forced" to be men, and women "forced" to be women...It's changing now, but not fast enough for some women. It simply can't be done with older generations, the way women would like it to..
Joe Biden is being condemned by some women for being a man. Biden's touching of women is a reminder to some women...of the cultural forces that made men men..and women women.. Those forces that many men have misconstrued to allow a conduct that is, without a doubt,sexual "sexual assault". Biden's assault on women, doesn't have to be "sexual" it still covers some of the same grounds.. other men use for an actual "sexual assault". Although Biden is unable to see it that way..He is condemned with his own reasoning. Biden touching of women, identifies gender aspects that many women want to change..
Biden's touching identifies women as more vulnerable, needing more support, more inadequate, and more needy. Less equal to men who fall under the same circumstances.
For many women this is not a fact, but an affront. For these women see ALL men as a "gender assault"..

Well not the entire legislature just a 7 member panel committee of 5 Republicans and 2 Democrats.
The case boils down this.. Can the governor, in a State of Emergency . Outlaw gathering of 10 or more people for church services Easter Sunday?
I was interested in the arguments.. The hearing was on the internet, so I listenedto the whole thing
I expected a conflict between constitutional freedom of religion and Assembly and the Emergency declaration.
Not a single word about that...
Not a single word about the powers of the Legislature and the Governor..
What the conflict did come .. Was the power of the governor versus the power of a seven member panel of legislators, led by Republicans, to overturn any executive orders.
It is clear in the Kansas Constitution that with a full vote of the legislature. that a governor's order can be overturned. When the Kansas Legislature is not in session.. Powers of oversight go the Legislative Committee.
The questions were these..
Does the power of oversight of the committee translate to a proxy from the entire legislature.. To make laws. And Does that TRUMP executive powers
The State Legislature Is suppose to be in session, but has been suspended because of the virus.
That statutes governing the committee do no name the specific power..to do what it's doing.. but like President Trump and Trump's executive powers the Republican Committee of legislators is assuming that which is not specifically excluded or assigned specifically to the Legislature . is within their Powers.
If the Kansas supreme court ruled in favor of the Legislator committee. It would virtually strip then powers of the Governor about the pandemic.
There was an avoidance of religious freedom and Freedom to assemble. WHY..?
Because it was never about that..that specific ruling would have allowed services on Easter, and the ability to assemble. It's end result would have voided the governor actions to prevent, social distancing and gatherings.... the Republican did not want that.
What the legislature wants... is to be able to overrule the governor if and When Trump opens the economy. The governor could be forced by the the committee of Republican legislature to comply.. Pure and simple it was a typical Republican power grab.

Being hunkered down from the virus has created a TV and internet cultural like never before.
BTV..Before The Virus... I am fairly certain most American viewed their favorites programs, genre such as News, sports, comedies, police drama's and Reality TV...Personal choices of escapism for the time being...We turn on the TV as a viewer not a participant.
But times have changed, I never would have watched before, I watched two show on Netflicks docudramas .I never would have watched before. First "An Innocent Man".. and just now "Tiger King"...They both slap me in the face wake from the nightmare. and made it REAL.....
In both cases the subject matter was okay learn from.. but I don't learn that way..I learn from telling something I don't know. Something you may not be trying tell at
Areas of the country.. are designated by the past and present....an evolution or lack thereof. Hippie California, Appalachia, The New Yorker, and the Confederate States of America. with common traits specific the area they live. It's not really real...jsut pocket material.
Oklahoma was a "territory", "a reservation", the "badlands".. from that base Oklahoma was by a "nasty" virus.. That did not discriminate between rich and poor, and people of color...No matter who you were..You exemplified the worst of humanity.....In ignorance, compassion, hatred of government, prejudice, division, gun culture criminality, law enforcement, and a totally different kind of patriotism than the rest of the country knows Oklahoma is truly the "badlands".. a haven, for anarchists, evangelicals, Racists, Libertarians, criminals, and trailer trash..with no need to own a trailer.
It's the test tube of what happens between people with different agendas. but the same mindset. Normalcy simply doesn't exist in Oklahoma.. Oklahoma attracts the worst kind of people.
I never knew it...it was an American nightmare, for me, that such a place could exist..
The documentaries.. may have been a subconscious attack about that.. But I don't think so. The subjects really has nothing to do with Oklahoma. it was about the people on it... no matter who you were.... from law enforcement to criminals, the people of Oklahoma..all had the same mindset.

So many questions.... so few cures
And getting all the wrongs answers
The voided question of how life endures
The scientific or moral conflict
chicken or the egg which came first?

The questions the begs the why?
Between what we get.. and what we give
The choice in the better way to die

Trump use of these words are one of the most offensive things he has said.
Big may think my use of profanity is far more offensive than what Trump said.. But i can't think of anything more offensive .. than those word Trump used..
Trump could withhold aid The State of Washington and Michigan.. and I wouldn't be as offended. Trump in just one sentence.. has shown himself to be ..THREATENING, MANIPULATIVE, DISHONEST, SUBVERTING, BLACKMAILING, OMNIPOTENT, PROPAGANDIZING, BIASED, PREJUDICED, AND UNDERHANDED.
Those are no words from a President.. they are word from a dictator or a KING.
For trump can't take it back, or apologize. He choose his word, and he choose reveal himself .

Prevention.How it doesn't work

Why in some people's mind it doesn't work..
Prevention, to work requires two things..
First what you are trying prevent can't be a unknown.
Second what you are trying prevent can't be a temporary condition.
This coronavirus fits the bill in both cases.
The actual results and degree from the coronavirus is unknown..
The coronavirus is self preventive as it runs it's course.
For someone like Trump.. the cost of prevention is not worth his result.. In which the effective result.. will not reflect any acts of prevention. As ultimately the prevention is in degrees which can't be measured or justified. The end result either way will be prevention. in that respect there is no glory in prevention, just self satisfaction
This is not something i agree with.. it's wrong.
.In the same way Trump is wrong about everything.
Trump's measure of effectiveness must be acknowledged. his preventive measures about this virus could not be acknowledged...Yet his preventive measures as the collateral damage about the economy can be measured.
So in the final analysis after all is said and done.. Trump will have done nothing to prevent the virus, but it's prevention will occur anyway, and he will take credit for it.. The economy and his preventive measures The lessening effect will be measured and he can take credit for that also
He will end up taking credit of preventing the virus and saving the economy..That's Trump's win /win situation.
