During the Jim Crow Era, African American motorists had problems traveling cross country because most businesses would refuse them service.
The Negro Travelers’ Green Book was a travel guide series published from 1936 to 1964 by Victor H. Green. It was intended to provide African American motorists and tourists with the information necessary to board, dine, and sightsee comfortably and safely during the era of segregation.
The NAACP has recently issued a travel advisory for Missouri due to several high profile cases of police brutality and incidences of assaults on black motorists. The travelers are advised to be aware, carry bail money and let relative know when they are driving through the state.
The St. Louis Chapter of the NAACP wants to advisory lifted because it is hurting the hospitality businesses where many of the members are employed.
The Liberal in me keeps hoping that society progresses and we don't need to protest and work for social changes but sadly the dinosaurs are still roaming.

My Higher Power has a REALLY wicked sense of humor. Yesterday I was watching Videos on how to find lost objects with Horary Astrology. Lo and Behold, I came home and noticed that my cell phone was missing.
The Chart was casted based on the I realized the phone was gone - July 30, 2016 - 8:40 pm - White Sulphur Springs, WV 80W18 37N48
I also gave a quick intercessory prayers to St. Anthony and William Lilly Tony Tony Turn Around - What is lost must be found. Billy Lilly - Life is Chilly without my phone! Find It!!!!
The only time I remember having it out was when I was at the Library waiting for a girlfriend to pick me up. (It could be in her car) We went over to another friend's house where we had tea with other women ( A Leo, A Scorpio, A Pisces, and two Capricorns), (It could be my friend's kitchen). Next we drove to a 12 Step Meeting in a Church. (It could be at the Church) I returned to my car (It could be in my car). I drove to the dollar store to purchase superglue to fix my fitbit. (It could be at the dollar store)
The Querent is The Traditional Ruling Planet of the Ascendant - Aquarius = Saturn in the 11th House (time spent with friends)
A VERY wise West Virginia Astrology suggested that I use the Planetary Ruler of Communications to signify the Cell Phone - Mercury in the Seventh House (someone else has it). Mercury in it's own rulership of Virgo is REALLY Good.
The Scorpio Moon is sitting in the Ninth House (Transportation)

Question: Did President Trump influence Senator Capito to change her vote?
Senator Capito stated that she would not support the AHC Repeal because it would hurt West Virginians and she DID NOT come to Washington to hurt people. The Week before Trump went to a Boy Scout Jamboree in West Virginia. Capito also attended the event. Coincidently, Capito went back on her word and voted for the repeal.
The Players in the Chart are the Mars(Trump) Saturn(Capito) and the Moon(Constituents)
The Mars is in the First House keeping company with the Sun. The Sun is in it's own dignity and placing Trump and his Ego in the Hot Seat. Saturn(Capito is in the sixth House) This house concerns Health Care. The Libra Moon (Constituents) sit in the 4th House keeping company with Jupiter. All of the Players with the exception of the Sun are Ho Hum with absences of any negativity. The Leo Sun is in it's own Ruling Sign thus the most powerful aspect in the chart. I suspect that it was Trump GOP Cronies that has a conversation with Capito to influence her vote. Luckily McCain stood up to Trump his cronies and the bill did not pass.

Last Week My GPS Unit was Missing
I have a camping Geocaching adventure planned for this weekend which would be lost without my beloved GPS Locator.
My Catholic Great Granddaddy taught me a prayer to St. Anthony for finding lost objects.
Anthony Anthony, Turn Around, What is lost must be found.
I fired up a Horary Astrology Chart as I chanted the diddy to St. Anthony,

The Ascendant is 15 Degrees Gemini with Mercury as the Planetary Hour. This is Good !
The rising sign with the planetary ruler in the hour. What Wild Billy would call a radical or Valid Chart.
The Native or the one who asked the question is represented by the planetary ruler of the Rising Sign of Gemini. A Virgo Mercury sits in the fourth house too close to the sun for comfort next to flirtatious Leo Venus. This Native needs grounding because Venus Return is on the horizon. Woo Hoo! Positive Male Energy. Yee Haaa!
The Missing object is represented by the ruling planet of the Second House - of Cancer.
A Capricorn Moon sits in the Eight House. This is not Good! It could mean the GPS was lost is the garbage but with so many essential dignities - Maybe not.

I checked under some clutter in my bedroom and I found....................... Keys that I lost three weeks ago. I wasn't fretting too much because of the wisdom of spare keys.
The next day, I was at a noon teetotaler's meeting of the 12 Step variety. I search the back of my car for my coffee cup.
I moved the tent that I placed on top of some clutter. I found the GPS Locator. Yippee! My weekend is saved.
Under some clutter near a place associated with Sex. Wild Billy Lilly was right. A few weekends ago in that tent........
but the coffee cup was missing.
later on that day, a girlfriend called. I left the cup in her car when we went to lunch.
Wild Billy Lilly, Turn Around, Lost Keys, GPS and Cup are Found and ....................

The Ruling Planet of the Taurus Tenth House (President) is the Gemini Venus which is sitting at the tail end of the 10th House. There is a good possibility that he is on his way out.
The Constituents are represented by the Ruling Planet of the Leo First House. This is the Leo Sun in it's own rulership keeping company with Mars. The Sun and Mars are sitting in the 12th House which is not good. The 12th House deals with prisons, addictions, undoings, secret enemies.
Nevertheless, a luminary in it's own rulership is far stronger in the 12th House is much stronger than a Term Planet in the 10th House.
THE BATTLE IS REAL and some folks are fighting dirty but they are NOT going to be able to boot him out of office.
Needless to say #45 may be tempted to voluntarily jump out of the 10th House into the 2nd House of MONEY with the Libra Moon which is salsa dancing with a 3rd House (his own neighborhood) Libra Jupiter. He would be much happier in his own element. MIKE PENCE WILL BE DOING A HAPPY DANCE!!!!

Trump on the Ridiculous Imaginary War on Christmas

I am more of a fan for the First Amendment versus the Second Amendment and the Government should absolutely stay out of Religion. This protect people of faith and the people who question or have no faith as well.
I am certain that posting the ten commandments in the congressional buildings could be problematic because it is instructing certain senators and representatives to abstain from cheating, stealing, adultery and coveting.
So now, Trump has tweeted that we will ALL be saying Merry Christmas. Dah! I can assure him that Christmas is alive and well. It starts on Labor Day and ends with the After Christmas Sales. Most of the Cashiers would greet the customers with Merry Christmas while some would say Happy Holidays. There were a few who simply said "Thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart." I would say, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Yuletyme Greetings or whatever the customer wanted.
When the Holiday arrived, I would say what I want. Bah Humbug! My boys and I would head to the Chinese Restaurant.

"There is no reason to force service members who are able to fight, train, and deploy to leave the military — regardless of their gender identity," Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Sen. John McCain said in the statement. "We should all be guided by the principle that any American who wants to serve our country and is able to meet the standards should have the opportunity to do so — and should be treated as the patriots they are."
According to Duckworth - The military spends more on Viagra than they do hormone therapy.
Sen. Tammy Duckworth, a double amputee veteran of the Iraq War, is slamming President Donald Trump’s ban on transgender Americans serving in the military.
Duckworth said in a statement Wednesday that when her Black Hawk helicopter was shot down, she didn’t care “if the American troops risking their lives to help save me were gay, straight, transgender or anything else. All that mattered was they didn’t leave me behind.”
The Illinois senator said anyone willing to risk their lives for their country should be able to serve no matter gender or sexual orientation or race.
She said, “Anything else is discriminatory and counterproductive to our national security.”
Senators McCain and Duckworth serve in the Military and paid a high price for serving. I am more inclined to take their prospective seriously versus #45. Trump would criticize them for "getting caught" but Trump used five deferments from the military during the Vietnam War so that he didn't even have to try.

Christian Cake Maker goes to the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court announced on Monday that it would hear the case of a Christian baker in Colorado who refused to make a wedding cake for a gay couple, teeing up the country's highest stakes legal showdown about whether laws that protect LGBT people from discrimination can violate religious people's constitutional rights.
The justices granted certiorari to hear the case, Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, in its next term, which begins in October.
I don't smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. I won't buy them for someone and if I had a choice, I wouldn't sell it to them either. Nevertheless, when I was a Wal-Mart Cashier, I had to sell tobacco, beer and wine unless the customer was . I was probably more vigilant about checking ID than some of the other cashier. For example if a group of young people came in, I would check ALL their ID's and if one of them was , I would refuse the sale.
I would prefer to make a wedding cake to a gay couple versus selling cigarettes to a straight couple. It will be interesting to see how this Supreme Court case goes.
My husband and I were married at a Nudist Resort. We wanted two cakes. One with the Tree House Logo and another with a Native American Couple. The first bakery refused to do the cakes so we went to a second bakery. They did the cake with no problems.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In an extraordinary rebuke of the President of the United States, the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. have obtained a restraining order against Donald J. Trump.
The order, which the Girls Scouts were granted on Monday night, prevents Trump from coming within three hundred feet of any gathering of the Scouts’ organization.
Carol Foyler, a Girl Scouts spokesperson, said that while the G.S.U.S.A. sought the restraining order “out of an abundance of caution,” the girls themselves were “in no way, shape or form” afraid of President Trump.
“They’re prepared to deal with bobcats and bears,” she said. “They can handle a malignant narcissist.”
Trump wasted little time responding to the Girl Scouts’ action, lashing out at the organization in a blistering early-morning tweet storm.
“Failing Girl Scouts bad (or sick) guys,” Trump wrote. “Mints, cookies terrible. Sad!”
